Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap interaksi antar model Pembelajaran Index Card Match, Course Review Horay, dan curiosity (rasa ingin tahu) terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis, serta perbedaan kemampuan konsep matematis berdasarkan tingkat curiosity. Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dengan menggunakan Desain Eksperimen Semu. Siswa SMP Negeri 01 Bunga Mayang kelas VIII sebagai sampel yang didapat menggunakan  teknik cluster random sampling. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa 1) Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan siswa yang mendapat model ICM, model CRH, dan model tradisional dalam memahami konsep matematika; 2) Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika antara siswa yang rasa ingin tahunya rendah, sedang, dan tinggi; 3) Tidak terdapat interaksi antara curiosity dan model pembelajaran dengan kemampuan memahami konsep matematika.

Abstract

Numerical abilities and educational character are very important in learning mathematics at school, some of the student characters that must be considered are disciplinary and religious characters. This study aims to determine the effect of students' disciplinary and religious character on numerical ability. This study uses survey research methods with descriptive research types with survey techniques. The population used in this research is all SMP/MTs/equivalent in North Lampung for the 2020/2021 academic year. The sampling technique used in this study was the cluster random sampling technique, so that MTs Negeri 1 North Lampung and MTs Negeri 2 North Lampung were obtained as samples. Three classes were taken from each school as a sample consisting of representatives from class VII, VIII and IX. The instruments used in this study were a numerical ability test and a disciplinary character questionnaire and a religious character. Data analysis technique using Multiple Linear Regression analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the influence of the disciplinary character of the religious character on students' numerical abilities was very strong, amounting to 73.6 percent. The results of the regression equation analysis show Y = 32.586 + 0.286X1 + 0.368X2. This equation shows that every 1 increase in the disciplinary character variable will affect the numerical ability variable by 0.286. Likewise, for the coefficient of the religious character variable, it will affect the numerical ability variable of 32.586.

Abstract

Kebanyakan siswa kurang memahami pelajaran matematika karena diajarkan dengan kurang bermakna dan kurang menyenangkan. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan minat anak-anak di Desa Sridadi mengenai pembelajaran matematika melalui kegiatan pengabdian dengan menggunakan media belajar ular tangga matematika. Pengabdian ini dilakukan di Desa Sridadi, Kecamatan Wonosobo, Kabupaten Tanggamus, Lampung. Peserta kegiatan ini merupakan anak-anak berumur 13-15 tahun. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini menggunakan metode pendidikan masyarakat dengan empat langkah utama yaitu diawali dengan tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap pemantauan dan tahap penilaian. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan anak-anak dalam materi Aljabar meningkat, karena nilai rata-rata skor meningkat sebanyak 55 poin. Kegiatan pengabdian ini berjalan lancar dan mendapatkan respon positif dari anak-anak yang mengikuti kegiatan. Most students do not understand mathematics because it is taught less meaningfully and less fun. This service activity aims to increase children's interest in Sridadi Village in learning mathematics through community service activities using the snake and ladder mathematics learning media. This service is carried out in Sridadi Village, Wonosobo District, Tanggamus Regency, Lampung. Participants in this activity are children aged 13-15 years. The method of implementing this service uses the community education method with four main steps, namely starting with the preparation stage, implementation stage, monitoring stage, and evaluation stage. The results of this activity showed that the children's ability in Algebra material increased because the average score increased by 55 points. This service activity went smoothly and received a positive response from the children who participated.

Abstract

Students' poor critical thinking and mathematical problem-solving abilities are caused by a variety of variables, including teacher-centered learning and an ineffective learning models. In order to increase students' critical thinking skills and mathematical problem solving abilities, it is required to use an appropriate and unique learning strategy. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of the Blended Learning models, as aided by Schoology Media, on students' critical thinking and mathematical problem-solving abilities. This study used a quasy experimental design as a research method. The population used in this study were all class X students of SMK-SMTI Bandar Lampung. The sample technique employed in this research was cluster random sampling, so that class X KI 4 as the experimental group and class X KI 1 as the control group, each group consisting of 28 students. The instruments used in this study were tests of critical thinking skills, tests of mathematical problem solving Skills, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using descriptive data analysis and inferential analysis. The hypothesis test is in the form of a One-way Multivariate Analysis of Variance (One-way MANOVA) Test. Based on the results of the analysis, 1) There is a difference between the Skills to think critically and the Skills to solve mathematical problems between the two groups of students; 2) There is a difference in the Skills to think critically between the group that is treated with the schoology-assisted Blended Learning model and the group that is given the conventional learning model treatment; 3) There are differences in the Skills to solve mathematical problems between groups that are treated with the schoology-assisted Blended Learning model and the group that is given the conventional learning model treatment; and 4) there is an influence between the Blended Learning learning model on students' critical thinking skills and mathematical problem solving.
