Abstract

This study examined the factors influencing poverty levels in the provinces of Sumatra Island with the average length of schooling, open unemployment rate, economic growth, and population density as the independent variables. This study used secondary data from 2007 to 2020. The regression model used was a panel data regression model with three kinds of estimates, namely the common effect model, the fixed-effect model, and the random effect model. To select the appropriate model, it was tested through three tests, including the Chow test, Hausmant test, and LM test. Based on the test results, the model selected in this study was the fixed effect model. The regression tool was Eviews 9. The results showed that the average length of schooling and the open unemployment rate affect the poverty level in the provinces of Sumatra island. Meanwhile, economic growth and population density did not affect the poverty levels in the provinces of Sumatra Island.

Abstract

The study examined the effect of population, the number off poor people, and the number of labor forces on the growth rate of GRDP percapita of Aceh Province. This study used time-series data obtained from the central Bureau of Statistic for Aceh province in 2007-2020. The data analysis method used was multiple linear regression analysis using the ECM (Error Correction Model) model approach with the help of Eviews 10. The results of the partial study showed that the population had a positive and significant effect on the growth rate of GRDP percapita of Aceh Province, the number of poor people had no positive and insignnificant effect on the growth rate of GRDP percapita, and the number of labor forces had no positive and insignificant effect of GRDP percapita of Aceh Province. Simultaneously, the population, the number of poor people and the number of labor forces had a positive and significant effect on the growth rate of GRDP percapita of Aceh Province.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the amount of money in circulation, economic growth, and export on inflation in Indonesia. The data used in this study is a time series from 1980-2020 obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics and Bank Indonesia. The analytical model used in this study is the Autoregressive Distributed Lag model. The data is processed using the Eviews application. The results of the study show that in the short term, the money supply has a positive and significant effect on inflation, as well as in the long term. Economic Growth in the short and long term has a negative and significant effect on inflation, while exports have a negative and insignificant effect on inflation in the short and long term.

Abstract

This study examined the relationship between population density, per capita expenditure, open unemployment rate, and the poor people in Aceh province. This study used secondary data from 2000 to 2019. The data were analyzed using the Vector Autoregression (VAR) analysis method with the help of Eviews 10. The results indicated that population density had no positive and significant effect on the poor people, per capita expenditure had a positive but insignificant effect on the poor people, and the open unemployment rate had a positive and significant effect on the poor people.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the workforce and the human development index (IPM) on economic growth in the districts of Aceh province in 2000-2020. This research uses multiple linear data for 20 years. This study used the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) test analysis method. The results of this study indicate that in the long term and short term labor has a negative and insignificant effect on economic growth. Meanwhile, HDI in the long and short term has a positive and significant effect on economic growth.

Abstract

Perkelahian atau lazim dikenal dengan tawuran di Kota Lhokseumawe sudah sangat meresahkan. Setidaknya sudah beberapa kali terjadi di tahun 2023 ini tanpa sebab yang jelas, sehingga ketentraman kota menjadi terusik. Peran keluarga sangat sentral dalam pembentukan karakter anak. Komunikasi dalam keluarga yang baik merupakan salah satu kunci keharmonisan dalam berkeluarga sekaligus berpengaruh terhadap pembentukan dan perubahan perilaku, sikap, baik efek positif dan negative pada anak. Permasalahan yang muncul ke permukaan saat ini adalah rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya berkomunikasi intens dengan sesama anggota keluarga. Sehingga tak jarang anak mencari solusinya sendiri diluar rumah, dibandingkan solusi dari keluarganya dalam setiap permasalahan sosial yang dia hadapi. Ada banyak faktor yang menyebabkan generasi muda salah pergaulan atau perilaku negative lainnya, yaitu minimnya komunikasi dalam keluarga. Selain faktor kesibukan orangtua, hal ini juga bisa disebabkan oleh pengabaian oleh para orangtua akan pentingnya komunikasi dalam keluarga. Gampong Blang Pulo sebagai mitra dalam pengabdian ini merupakan salah satu kampung yang berada dalam  lingkar kampus Unimal  di  Blang Panyang.  Jaraknya  yang berada  dalam radius 100 meter dari kampus Unimal menjadikannya sebagai desa lingkungan yang perlu diperhatikan pembangunannya. Keberadaan remaja di kampung ini sangat variatif karena banyaknya pendatang; mahasiswa yang menuntut ilmu di Unimal memilih pemondokan di kampung ini. Masyarakat Blang Pulo berasal dari kelas menengah kebawah, berpendidikan rendah, akses jalan desa dan sanitasi yang belum memadai menandakan sikon kampung yang belum maju. Tingkat pendidikan, sosial ekonomi warganya yang belum memadai, kemudian menjadi salah satu pemicu tawuran remaja yang pernah terjadi dikampung ini. Pengabdian penyuluhan komunikasi keluarga kali ini merupakan sebuah wujud dari komunikasi interpersonal, yang menyasar para orangtua untuk melek akan pentingnya sebuah komunikasi efektif dalam keluarga dengan membantu memberikan motivasi lewat penyuluhan akan serta membantu  mencerdasi potensi konflik pada anak yang menyebabkan tawuran.          Keyword:komunikasi keluarga, tawuran, konflik,

Abstract

This study examined the efficiency of tobacco farming production in Indonesia. This study used secondary data in the form of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) using the Costan Return to Scale (CRS) and Return to Scale (VRS) approaches from 2006 to 2020 from the Central Bureau of Statistics and FAO. Development analysis Data (DEA) method was used to analyze the efficiency of tobacco farming production in Indonesia. The results indicated that the 4 input variables consisting of land area, investment, production costs, and output Tobacco production were in the CRS and VRS approaches. For CRS, there were 6 efficient years, while for VRS, there were 7 efficient years. The average value of efficiency in tobacco farming is one (1,000).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the condition of the company, efficient or not through the efficiency analysis test. The method in this analysis test is non-parametric quantitative with Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) model. The data source is based on the financial statements of agricultural companies, where the input variables include; Total Assets, Liabilities and Land, while the output variable is Sales. Processed using MaxDea software. There are 12 sample companies or DMU in this study. The results of DMU analysis using VRS output orientation assumptions show that agricultural companies that are on an efficiency scale of 1 are 4 companies.
