Abstract

Character education is a system of naming character values that includes components of knowledge, awareness or will, and actions to implement these values, both towards God Almighty, oneself, others, the environment, and nationality. Character of education, it is absolutely necessary not only in school but also at home, in the social environment. Event now this is no longer a participant character of education early childhood through adolescence but also adults. Absolutely necessary for the survival of this nation. Competition imagine what will emerge in the next years. Obviusly it would be our burden and parent for today. At that time, the children will face competition with colleagues from various countries around the world. In fact we are still going to work year will feel the same feelings. Abstract

The convert village of Dusun Batursari, which has great potential in various fields, but has not been able to work on it optimally, is a strategic opportunity. The purpose of this study was to explore management, supporting and inhibiting factors for community development through strengthening philanthropic behavior in the convert village of Temanggung by using qualitative research. The results of this study indicate that: (1) there are six stages in community development through philanthropy, namely: preparing plans such as routine recitation, program implementation, reflection, and evaluation. (2) the supporting factors are human resources and leadership while the inhibiting factors are lack of information. The contribution of this research can be used as a reference for conducting philanthropic-based community development.
