Abstract

Education is one of the manifestations of human culture that is dynamic and developmental requirements. Therefore, changes or educational development is that it should happen in line with the changing culture of  life. Changes in the sense of improving education at all levels should continue to be done in anticipation of future interest. Education which has been implemented in Indonesia is already very good quality, but there are some things you forgotten so felt less effective teaching method. One of the most important yet often overlooked is life skills or life skills. This is emphasized in the effort to develop generic skills namely personal skills and social skills. This does not mean that specific skills are skills for academic and vocational skills are not developed, although it was only in the early stages of development or introduction

Abstract

The process of learning is at the core of the educational process as a whole with the teacher as the main role holder . Curriculum 2013 is the actualization of the curriculum in learning and competence and character formation of the students , it requires the activity of teachers to create and grow a variety of activities in accordance with the plans that have been programmed . Learning science or natural science is a learning-oriented activities on the natural environment. Learning aims to provide sensitivity and concern for the learners to be able to recognize more deeply about the natural environment . Through science learning is expected along with increased understanding of the natural environment and expected future generation born who are committed to create a prosperous life without forgetting the preservation of nature
