Abstract

The economic activity sector is one of the many sectors of life affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Many economic actors, such as traders and entrepreneurs, have experienced a decline in sales turnover of their products. This was caused by various factors such as the existence of social restrictions, restrictions on production activities, termination of employment, and decreased people's purchasing power. Therefore, many people, especially traders and UMKM actors, have experienced a decrease in their product sales turnover, which has resulted in a reduction in their income. On the other hand, traders who initially only relied on conventional sales methods and had low knowledge and skills in using IT were increasingly constrained in marketing their products. This is because they do not have a back up plan to market their products. So an innovation was born that was offered by the Social Services of Social Studies Program Universitas Negeri Malang to develop a simple e-commerce platform that could be utilized and managed completely independently by the community and UMKM actors in Purwojati Village. This innovation has gone through the validation test stage by experts and potential users so that it is suitable for use and implementation as a means or media for promotion and marketing of MSME products for the Purwojati Village community, and can expand market reach, increase sales, and encourage digitalization of the economy in this village.
