Abstract

Abstract The Suramadu Bridge is a bridge that connects the island of Java in Surabaya with Madura Island in Kamal, Bangkalan, and that crosses Madura Strait. The Suramadu Bridge has a length of 5,438 meters, which is the longest bridge in Indonesia. The construction of the Suramdu Bridge wass intended to accelerate development in Madura Island which covers the economy and infrastructure in the Madura Region, which wass still relatively underdeveloped compared to other areas in East Java. Although the bridge has been serving people, many academicians of Trunojoyo University still choose feri services as a mode for crossing towards Madura and vice versa. This study aims to investigate the preferences of the academicians of Trunojoyo University in selecting transportation mode for traveling Surabaya-Madura. This study was conducted by interviewing some academicians who are traveling to Madura using the feri mode. The results show that there are some preference attribution which the academicians choose feri services namely security, closer location, higher accessibility, and comfort Keywords: preferences, crossing mode, attributes, feri service  Abstrak Jembatan Suramadu merupakan jembatan yang menghubungkan Pulau Jawa di Surabaya dengan Pulau Madura di Kamal, Bangkalan, melintasi Selat Madura. Jembatan Suramadu memiliki panjang 5.438 meter dan merupakan jembatan terpanjang di Indonesia. Pembangunan Jembatan Suramadu ini dimaksudkan untuk mempercepat pembangunan yang ada di Pulau Madura, yang meliputi bidang ekonomi dan infrastruktur di Daerah Madura, yang secara relatif masih tertinggal dibandingkan dengan daerah lain yang ada di Jawa Timur. Meskipun Jembatan Suramadu telah difungsikan dan melayani masyarakat, banyak  sivitas akademika Universitas Trunojoyo Madura masih memilih jasa penyeberangan kapal feri sebagai moda transportasi untuk melakukan penyeberangan menuju Madura atau sebaliknya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui preferensi sivitas akademika Universitas Trunojoyo Madura terhadap moda penyeberangan Surabaya-Madura. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mewancarai beberapa orang sivitas akademika yang sedang melakukan perjalanan ke Madura dengan menggunakan moda penyeberangan kapal feri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa atribut yang menjadi preferensi sivitas akademika Universitas Trunojoyo Madura memilih moda penyeberangan kapal feri, yaitu keamanan, lokasi yang lebih dekat, kemudahan akses, dan kenyamanan. Kata-kata kunci: preferensi, moda penyeberangan, atribut, angkutan penyeberangan feri

Abstract

Penelitian ini menjelaskan bagaimana penurunan stres setelah mengikuti pelatihan meditasi mindfulness pada korban kekerasan dalam pacaran mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Partisipan penelitian berjumlah 3 orang mahasiswa yang mengalami kekerasan dalam pacaran. Pengumpulan data secara umum dilakukan dengan wawancara pada subjek saat sebelum pelatihan dan sesudah pelatihan. Teknik wawancara dikombinasikan dengan teknik-teknik lain seperti catatan pengalaman latihan meditasi mindfulness dan body scaning, gambar tentang sensasi tubuh. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan langkah-langkah yang disampaikan oleh Giorgi (1997) yang minimal memiliki lima langkah dasar yaitu: mengumpulkan data verbal, membaca data, membagi-bagi data menjadi bagian-bagian, organisasi dan pernyataan data dari perspektif disiplin, dan mengekspresikan struktur fenomena. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Reaksi stres subjek yang dapat berupa gejala fisiologis, emosional, kognitif, interpersonal dan organisasional berkurang setelah mengikuti pelatihan mindfulness yang terdiri atas latihan body scanning, mindfulness dan mindfulness tidak formal.

Abstract

Heart (qalb) has a higher function than do other sensory organs such as eyes and ears have because heart is the executing part of the soul that changes human spiritual potentiality into actuality (Ansari, 2003). Spiritual actuality of heart such as mukasyafah is possible when it has achieved cleanliness and clarity. Sufism as a spiritual path offers several steps to clean and purify heart. This study explores the spiritual path that has been experienced by a grave digger in the form of mukasyafah towards the sound of complaints and pain from a grave. The data of this essay was gained from interviews with a grave digger in Kediri, East Java. This study concludes that the spiritual path traversed by the grave digger is, among other things, the path of heart which is exercised by the subject by giving help, alleviating sufferings of others, praying for the deceased, and being gentle towards his fellow people. The path of reason is passed by the subject by doing what he obtained from his studying Islam. The path of group is done by having good relations with others. While the path of service is carried out by the subject by giving emphaty to other people who are experiencing distress, giving hands to those who ask for help and giving alms to those in need. The way of dhikr is done by always remembering Allah, realizing and believing in Allah as the provider of the provision and who regulates one's sustenance and being honest in work expecting God’s blessing.
