Abstract

This research examined how the anthropological approach to Islamic education is in building noble spirituality and overcoming problems of social conflict. The object of study is the student boarding school, Mahad Talhah bin Ubaidillah to be precise, Palu City, Central Sulawesi Province. This study uses a phenomenological approach, including a type of qualitative method. It collects data using observation interviews, documentation, and single data analysis (individual case analysis). The study's results found that the value of ukhuah Islamiyah was instilled to form students who always maintain unity and create harmonious relationships. Instilled noble moral values to shape students to become polite individuals, both in speech and in behaviour. In addition, it is customary to hold deliberations when facing problems, which is done to shape students into individuals who respect and respect the opinions of others, not feeling the most righteous themselves. As well as the habit of maintaining other people's privacy, this is to form students into individuals who do not like to interfere in private matters. Given that students live together in the dormitory. When these values are not instilled, they will disturb and damage the comfort of other students. This conclusion can become an idea for realizing good spirituality and can be a reference for overcoming social conflicts.

Abstract

Strengthening religiosity for students is a variable that is considered very important in enhancing character in madrasas. This research aims to explain the contribution of parents' role in parenting patterns and students' moral awareness towards students' religious behaviour. This research uses quantitative analysis using cause and effect relationships. The population in this study was 246 students. The research sample was 159 students using the Slovin formula. Data collection techniques use interviews, questionnaires and documentation. This research uses several assumption tests, including normality, heteroscedasticity and linearity, multicollinearity, and suitability of the regression model. The research results show an R-value of 0.545, which shows the level of reliability based on the Alpha value in the Medium category in the interval 0.4≤0.70. The role of parents in providing motivation and moral awareness in shaping religious behaviour has a significant contribution, with an increase in the ability of 29.7%. Therefore, parents have an essential role in providing parenting patterns in the form of exemplary habituation to children to provide an awareness value so that children have good religious behaviour.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the curriculum transformation that occurs at Darussalam Gontor Modern Boarding School from the perspective of Ralph W. Tyler, a curriculum expert who put forward the theory of curriculum objectives, emphasizing the importance of setting clear goals in curriculum development. This study uses a qualitative approach that focuses on collecting data through in-depth interviews and participatory observation. Research respondents consisted of administrators, educators, and students of Darussalam Gontor Modern Boarding School who were involved in curriculum transformation. Data analysis uses pattern matching, explanation building, and time-series analysis. The validity of the findings is ensured through construct validity, reliability and credibility criteria. The results of the study show that Darussalam Gontor Modern Islamic Boarding School has carried out a substantial transformation in its curriculum development process. This transformation is based on identifying the needs of students and society, as well as re-evaluating the desired goals of Islamic education. Implementation of curriculum transformation is carried out through adjustments to curriculum content, teaching approaches, and improving evaluation. It examines the curriculum transformation at Darussalam Gontor Modern Boarding School from the point of view of Ralph W. Tyler, a well-known curriculum expert. Applying Tyler's theory of curriculum objectives, this study emphasizes the importance of setting clear goals in curriculum development. This perspective provides a unique framework for analyzing the curriculum transformation process.
