Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work discipline and supervision on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. This study took the location at PT. Mitra Unggul Pusaka Segati, Langgam District, with a total of 104 respondents. In this study consists of four variables. These variables are Employee Performance (Y2), Job Satisfaction (Y1), Work Discipline (X1), Supervision (X2). The data analysis method uses a quantitative descriptive method with the Path Analysis tool, with the help of SPSS version 23. The results of the study show that: 1) Work Discipline has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction at PT. Mitra Unggul Pusaka Segati, Langgam District. 2) Supervision has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction at PT. Mitra Unggul Pusaka Segati, Langgam District. 3) Work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Mitra Unggul Pusaka Segati, Langgam District. 4) Supervision has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Mitra Unggul Pusaka Segati, Langgam District. 5) Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Mitra Unggul Pusaka Segati, Langgam District. 6) Work Discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through job satisfaction at PT. Mitra Unggul Pusaka Segati, Langgam District. 7) Supervision has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through job satisfaction at PT. Mitra Unggul Pusaka Segati, Langgam District.

Abstract

Employee performance is an important element in an organization. Every organization must be able to maintain and improve employee performance. This should also be done by the Pekanbaru Class II A Penitentiary. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of hard and soft skills on the performance of employees, with training as a moderating variable. This research was conducted on Class II A Correctional Institution employees in Pekanbaru, totaling 127 employees, using the census method. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire, and the data analysis uses the Structural Equation Model (SEM).The results showed: 1) Hard skills have a positive and significant effect on employee performance; 2) Soft skills have a positive and significant effect on employee performance; 3) Hard skills have a positive and significant effect on employee performance that is moderated by training; and 4) Soft skills have a positive and significant effect on employee performance that is moderated by employee training. Based on the results of the research, the Class II A Penitentiary in Pekanbaru must be able to overcome employee performance problems, especially those related to employee training, hard skills, and soft skills issues.

Abstract

This research was conducted at Perum Jamkrindo Pekanbaru Branch. The purpose of this study was to find out whether Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Training affect Work Productivity and whether Supervision is able to moderate the relationship between Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Training on Work Productivity at Perum Jamkrindo Pekanbaru Branch. The population in this study were all employees of Perum Jamkrindo Pekanbaru Branch, totaling 42 people. The sampling method used total sampling, namely as many as 42 respondents. The results of this study are (1) There is a significant influence between Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) on Productivity, (2) There is a significant effect between Training on Productivity, (3) Supervision is able to moderate the relationship between Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) on Productivity, (4) ) Supervision is not a moderating variable in the relationship between training and work productivity.
