Abstract

Early childhood education is a process that covers all aspects of child development from 0-6 years old. Social emotional development in children is preparing children to follow optimal learning. This research is quantitative descriptive. Simple random selection was used to select the sample for this study. Questionnaire / questionnaire is a tool used to research this research. Researchers distributed this questionnaire throughout Jambi province. Based on the discussion above, it was concluded that the teacher's perception of the child's social emotionality was quite good. Children are fully able to interact with their peers, children can express their opinions, children can put on and untie their own shoelaces, children are able to do their own tasks, children have empathy for their friends, and children can do toilet training themselves. as a whole, social emotional children at school have developed well

Abstract

Early childhood is a golden period of development where the early childhood brain development phase is the most important phase which covers 80% of a child's brain development. The level of brain development in children from birth to 4 years of age reaches 50%, so the first 4 years are often called the golden age. One way to develop a child's brain is through art. The research method used by researchers is a descriptive research method with a quantitative approach. The population used in this study were kindergartens in Jambi Province, namely kindergarten teachers in Jambi Province. The sample used was 6 teachers from three kindergarten schools in Jambi Province using a simple random sampling technique. The instrument used is a questionnaire / questionnaire. Data was collected using a questionnaire instrument for research subjects. Research Results 100% of respondents agree that music stimulates the brain in early childhood, have practiced movements and songs for learning. carrying out music arts activities and songs of different expression in their respective schools, children can follow the movements of the given song, children can clap their hands to the rhythm, children can follow the word pattern of the given song. The results of the respondents stated that they agreed that the art of music can improve brain development in early childhood.

Abstract

Masa usia dini merupakan masa emas perkembangan. Fase perkembangan otak anak usia dini merupakan fase terpenting yang meliputi 80% perkembangan otak anak. Tingkat perkembangan otak anak sejak lahir sampai usia 4 tahun mencapai 50%, sehingga 4 tahun pertama sering disebut masa keemasan. Salah satu cara untuk mengembangkan otak anak adalah melalui seni. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru Taman Kanak-kanak yang ada di Provinsi Jambi. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 6 guru dari tiga TK yang ada di Provinsi Jambi dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Instrument yang digunakan adalah kuisioner/angket. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrument kuisioner terhadap subjek penelitian. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan 100% responden setuju bahwa musik merangsang perkembangan otak pada anak usia dini. Semua guru pernah mempraktikkan gerakan dan lagu untuk belajar, melaksanakan kegiatan seni musik dan lagu-lagu berekspresi yang berbeda di sekolah masing-masing. Anak dapat mengikuti gerakan pada lagu yang diberikan, anak dapat bertepuk tangan mengikuti irama, anak dapat mengikuti pola kata dari lagu yang diberikan. Seluruh responden menyetujui bahwa seni musik mampu meningkatkan perkembangan otak anak usia dini.
