Abstract

This study aims to explain the bullies and the victims of bullying based on Islamic psychology perspective that uses tasawuf approach (sufistic psychology) through documentation as data collecting technique. In more detail, this research is focused on strengthening the theory of the development of student?s nature as the main vision of Islamic education. Islamic education requires an explanation of sufistic psychology which does have a primary concern in developing all potential fitrah in human. Sufistic Psychology of Imam Al-Gazali summarized in Kimiy?u Al-Sa??dah is used by researcher to read and understand the behavior of bullies and victims. Bullies are understood as individuals who have strong dominance in the power of their ga?ab so they can easily attack victims. Meanwhile, victims are understood as individuals who do not use the power of ga?ab effectively. Victims are lack of lust so that there is no courage and ability to defend themselves when faced with bullying toward them. Responding to such problem, sufistic psychology requires control over the actualization of ga?ab and syahwat without intending to kill these two potentials.

Abstract

Mind-wandering is a condition in which the mind is not focused on the task but wanders widely and spontaneously outside the topic of the task. This becomes a problem when someone is working on a task that requires full concentration, such as when a doctor performs an operation, a scientist conducts an experiment, or an entrepreneur presents a project plan in front of a client. This study aims to provide an alternative solution to overcome mind-wandering in relation to individual productivity by integrating theories from two disciplines, namely mindfulness theory in psychology and waqt and ridha theory in Sufism. The research method used is qualitative with the type of literature study. The data analysis technique used the hermeneutic method and the irfani method. The results of the study show that by being aware of the nature of waqt, ridha, and mindfulness, individuals will pay full attention to the task that is being done at that time. Regardless of whether the task is desirable or not, accepting all the thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations that result from the experience without trying to change them will ultimately keep one’s mind from wandering anywhere and thereby increase productivity.

Abstract

Abstract:  Human case studies are interesting to analyze from a variety of different perspectives. Regarding humanitarian cases in Indonesia, in 2022 there have been phenomenal human rights violations. Gus Dur's version of humanism is religious humanism adhering to the principles of Islamic teachings, but its actualization does not only touch the religious field. This study used a qualitative method with a literature review approach. The goal is to learn about KH Abdurrahman Wahid's thoughts on applying humanism theory to humanitarian issues. The research results obtained indicate that the basic foundation of the Indonesian nation is Pancasila, which consists of five precepts with fundamental values. Of course, in understanding these values, there is a meaning contained therein. This research tries to connect the humanitarian cases that occurred in Indonesia with the theory of humanism. The theory of humans serves as a foundation for KH Abdurrahman Wahid's ideas He is an intellectual figure and scholar whose knowledge comes from all over the country. Human cases are caused by the morality of each individual and socio-cultural, economic, political, and religious changes. In this case, Gus Dur actualizes human values that are just and adaptable to the concept of humanizing humans. In order to create world peace, a sense of involvement with the suffering of fellow human beings must be strengthened, not bypunishing those who suffer.

Abstract

Abstract This article raises the issue of human fear of death. Fear of death will be a problem if it is excessive and does not encourage someone to prepare for death. Therefore, there is a need for study of death from sufism perspective to look again at the essence of death so that the unnatural fear of death can at least be reduced. This study uses a qualitative method with an irfani analysis technique that is adjusted to meet the need of sufism approach in this study. The result of this paper is that death is the separation of humans from what has been entrusted to humans in the world because of a moving from the world to a completely different realm. As for the destruction of body through death, it is not followed by the death of spirit. It causes spirit is created from God’s spirit, the human spirit by nature always yearns and always wants to return to where it came from. In order for the nature of spirit's longing for God to be maintained, a servant is required to always control or at least reduce worldly desires that can prevent a servant from having an inclination towards God.
