Abstract

Berbicara merupakan kemampuan berbahasa manusia untuk menyampaikan ide, gagasan, atau informasi secara langsung. Keterampilan berbicara adalah kemampuan menghasilkan bunyi yang memiliki artikulasi kata yang bertujuan untuk menyampaikan pesan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis upaya guru dalam meningkatkan kemahiran berbicara siswa kelas V SDN Telang 2. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek yang digunakan oleh peneliti yaitu siswa kelas V dengan jumlah total 19 anak dan guru kelas V. Pada hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa upaya guru dalam meningkatkan kemahiran berbicara siswa di SDN Telang 2 yakni sebagai berikut: 1) Menggunakan metode dikusi, tanya jawab dan presentasi ketika pembelajaran; 2) Melakukan pembiasaan khusus pada setiap mata pelajaran seperti bahasa Indonesia membaca dan menyimpulkan teks, matematika dengan melakukan tanya jawab dan maju ke depan kelas, agama dengan praktik berpidato; 3) mengikutsertakan siswa dalam lomba-lomba seperti lomba puisi, gambar bercerita, menyanyi, bercerita, dan pidato. Upaya ini dapat meningkatkan kemahiran berbicara siswa yang dibuktikan dengan hasil angket sebesar 68% dengan kategori selalu yang artinya upaya yang dilakukan oleh guru berhasil.

Abstract

This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research. The analysis used is the analysis of facilities and student learning activities at the Keleyan State SLB. This research was conducted at Keleyan State SLB, Kec. Socah, Bangkalan Regency, East Java. The purpose of this study was to find out the facilities and learning activities in the Keleyan State SLB. The participants in this study were school principals, teachers of grades I, V and Keleyan State SLB students. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets and interview sheets. The results showed that the facilities provided to support student learning were adequate. Meanwhile, the learning activities carried out include; 1) Making Batik Patterns; 2) Literacy Activities; 3) Plastic Waste Recycling; 4) Dancing and Singing Activities; 5) Swimming Activities; 6) Commemorating the Big Day; 7) handicrafts; 8) PSP Workshop; 9) Outing Class; 10) Scouts; 11) Cooking Class; 12) and Healthy Friday.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the problems that occur in learning Indonesian in elementary schools, especially class IV SDN Gili Barat, Kamal District, Bangkalan Regency, East Java. Participants in this study were class IV teachers and 18 male students and 8 female students with a total of 26 students. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, questionnaires and tests. The first step before observing learning in class, the researcher conducted a case study at school. Furthermore, researchers made observations of student learning in the classroom with the aim of observing the state of the class during direct learning. The instruments used by the researchers were interview sheets with class teachers, observation sheets in class, student questionnaires and oral tests in the form of reading material. The reading material used by researchers is reading text in student books with the title "Weather Conditions". The results showed that the problems in learning Indonesian in class IV-A SDN Gili Barat were that there were some students who lacked vocabulary mastery because students did not use Indonesian in the school environment, inadequate learning facilities and lack of student activity in class and there were 3 students in the category of reading fluently, 7 students can read and 16 students can read fluently.
