Abstract

ABSTRAK Anak usia prasekolah (3-5 tahun) belum mandiri dalam melakukan toilet training perlu bantuan orang tuanya dalam toilet training sehingga kejadian menahan saat ingin BAK sering terjadi yang dapat menyebabkan dampak fisik seperti infeksi saluran kemih (ISK), enuresis (mengompol). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kemandirian toilet training pada anak usia pra sekolah (3-5 tahun). Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif analitik, dengan metode cross sectional Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh anak pra sekolah berusia 3-5 tahun di Tk Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP sebanyak 39 murid, teknik pengambilan sampel adalah total sampling. Pengolahan data menggunakan komputerisasi dengan untuk menganalisa secara univariat yaitu dengan distribusi frekuensi dan univariat dengan melakukan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian lebih dari separuh (61,5%) kemandiran toilet training yang kurang, lebih dari separuh (56,4%) pengetahuan ibu rendah, lebih dari separuh (51,3%) sikap ibu kurang, lebih dari separuh (56,4%) pendidikan ibu rendah, lebih dari separuh (59%) peran ibu kurang. Ada hubungan pengetahan ibu dengan kemandirian toilet training dengan p-value 0,000, ada hubungan sikap ibu dengan kemandirian toilet training dengan p-value 0,006, ada hubungan pendiidkan ibu dengan kemandirian toilet training dengan p-value 0,000, ada hubungan peran ibu dengan kemandirian toilet training dengan p-value 0,000. Diharapkan kepada semua guru agar dapat meningkatkan tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap mengenai kemandirian toilet training pada ibun anak agar anak menjadi kebiasaan meakukan toilet training seperti melakukan pertemuan sekali sebulan khusus membahas toilet training anak kepada ibu, atau juga bisa seperti melakukan sosialisasi tentang toilet training.Kata Kunci : pengetahuan; sikap; pendidikan; peran; kemandirian toilet training ABSTRACTPreschool-aged children (3-5 years) who are not yet independent in toilet training need the help of their parents in toilet training so that events of holding back when they want to urinate often occur which can cause physical effects such as urinary tract infections (UTI), enuresis (wetting the bed). The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the independence of toilet training in pre-school children (3-5 years). This research is a type of descriptive analytic research, with cross sectional method. The population in this study were all pre-school children aged 3-5 years at UNP Laboratory Development Kindergarten, totaling 39 students. The sampling technique was total sampling. Data processing uses computerization to analyze it univariately, namely by frequency distribution and univariately by conducting a chi square test. The results of the study were more than half (61.5%) lack of independence in toilet training, more than half (56.4%) mothers had low knowledge, more than half (51.3%) mothers attitudes were lacking, more than half (56.4%) %) mother's education is low, more than half (59%) mother's role is less. There is a relationship between mother's knowledge and toilet training independence with a p-value of 0.000, there is a relationship between mother's attitude and toilet training independence with a p-value of 0.006, there is a relationship between mother's education and toilet training independence with a p-value of 0.000, there is a relationship between mother's role and toilet training independence. with a p-value of 0.000. It is hoped that all teachers will be able to increase the level of knowledge and attitudes regarding the independence of toilet training for mothers of children so that children will become in the habit of doing toilet training, such as holding meetings once a month specifically to discuss toilet training for children to mothers, or also by conducting socialization about toilet training.Keywords: knowledge; attitude; education; role; independent toilet trainingÂ
