Abstract

This research aims to analyze education marketing strategies in cultivating the interest of prospective students. The study uses a qualitative research method with descriptive characteristics. Informants include school principals, public relations officers, administrative staff, and students, and the information is obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis techniques consist of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Furthermore, data validity is ensured through triangulation to ascertain the reliability of the data in this research. The results of this study reveal that MA Babul Ulum Mariana employs market targeting strategies to identify market segments based on location, with students as the primary target in their educational marketing efforts. When defining market segments, schools typically establish specific criteria that become the primary focus in educational marketing. In terms of competitive positioning strategies, MA Babul Ulum Mariana undoubtedly has its own advantages and uniqueness in educational marketing. This is done to compete with other educational institutions, as each school has its own flagship programs designed to support student potential development for them to achieve success. In the mix of strategies, MA Babul Ulum Mariana combines various elements to support its educational marketing efforts, including flagship programs, a strategically located school, good collaboration with human resources, and affordable pricing

Abstract

This research aims to understand how the supervision of the school principal regarding teacher discipline is carried out at mts Ilham Palembang. The research subjects consist of monitoring, inspection, guidance, punctuality, work process compliance, and work results compliance. This research is a qualitative descriptive study, and the research subjects include three individuals, namely the school principal, the vice principal in charge of the curriculum, and the teachers. Data is collected through three methods: interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis technique involves data collection, data presentation, and data verification. The research findings indicate that: (1) Monitoring is carried out by supervising teachers while they are teaching in the classroom. (2) Inspection involves structured examinations of teachers and their attendance. (3) Guidance includes planning, discussion, and evaluation meetings related to teacher discipline. (4) Punctuality entails checking the teachers' punctuality according to the established schedule. (5) Work Process Compliance involves the principal monitoring a teacher's work process according to the schedule and the implementation plan. (6) Work Results Compliance consists of the principal consistently appreciating teachers who adhere to their work results and evaluating any mistakes in the work process

Abstract

The aim of this research is to understand the implementation of the tahfidz program at MAN 2 Palembang and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors during the implementation of the Qur’an memorization program at MAN 2 Palembang. This research employs a qualitative research method, and the informants include the head of the madrasa, the head of the Darul Ulum tahfidz house, tahfidz supervisors, and students. The data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques employed are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data is tested using triangulation, which includes source triangulation, technique triangulation, and time triangulation. The results of the research indicate that the tahfidz Qur’an program at MAN 2 Palembang is carried out through direction, motivation, communication, and coordination in each process, starting with determining the program's objectives, defining success indicators, setting the implementation schedule, and appointing program coordinators. The supporting factors include adequate facilities and infrastructure, quality human resources, the presence of rewards and punishments, and the program's timing. The inhibiting factors include the students' own attitudes and their surrounding environment

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether the implementation of the independent curriculum (kurikulum merdeka) has an impact on character development at SMP Islam Al-Azhar Cairo Palembang. The research population consists of 140 seventh-grade students at SMP Islam Al-Azhar Cairo Palembang. The instruments used for data collection are questionnaires and documentation. Data collection took place from April 25 to May 29, 2024. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis. The research results indicate, first, that there is an impact of the independent curriculum implementation on the character development of students at SMP Islam Al-Azhar Cairo Palembang. This is evidenced by the data analysis results, showing that the calculated r value of 0.712 is greater than the product moment table r value, which is 0.312 at a 5% confidence interval and 0.403 at a 1% confidence interval for N = 40. Second, the implementation of the independent curriculum has a high impact on the character development of students at SMP Islam Al-Azhar Cairo Palembang, as the calculated r value of 0.712 falls within the range of 0.600 to 0.800, indicating a high/strong interpretation

Abstract

This research aims to understand the process of student discipline supervision at SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Lampam. The researcher uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a qualitative research type. The research method employed is descriptive, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The validity of the data in this research is tested using source triangulation, technique triangulation, and time triangulation. The analysis results indicate that the process of supervising student discipline at SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Lampam involves monitoring, inspection, guidance and direction, disciplinary actions, and corrective measures. The research concludes that the supervision of student discipline at SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Lampam is not yet optimal, particularly in the stages of guidance or direction and disciplinary actions. This is evidenced by the students' lack of awareness regarding the importance of discipline in school

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the recruitment process of educators at SMP Nurul Amal Palembang. This research employs a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The informants in this study consist of 7 individuals, including the principal, the head of administration, teachers, and administrative staff. Data collection techniques used involve data reduction, data presentation, data verification, and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data is ensured through source triangulation, time triangulation, and technique triangulation. The research results indicate that the recruitment process of teaching staff at SMP Nurul Amal Palembang has been carried out effectively through guidance, coordination, communication, and motivation. This recruitment process includes the formation of a recruitment committee, analysis of teaching staff needs, the creation and posting of open recruitment announcements, registration of teaching staff candidates, guidance during selection, determination of the accepted teaching staff, and re-registration of the accepted teaching staff at SMP Nurul Amal Palembang. The recruitment process was conducted in accordance with the expectations of the school

Abstract

This study discusses the process of marketing educational services at MTs Al-Ikhlas Keban II-Musi Banyuasin. The research is qualitative in nature, employing a descriptive approach. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques involve data collection, data presentation, verification, and drawing conclusions. To ensure the validity of the data, the researcher used triangulation, which consists of time triangulation, method triangulation, and source triangulation. The findings of this research indicate that the marketing of educational services at MTs Al-Ikhlas Keban II has been implemented effectively. The products offered by the madrasah meet the needs and expectations of the users. The marketing of educational services is conducted through a well-organized process and effective educational customer strategies, spreading information about quality and products via social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, as well as using banners. This process is also supported by skilled human resources in their respective fields. The marketing costs are covered by the madrasah budget and do not hinder the process. Prospective students are not charged any registration fees. The madrasah is strategically located, surrounded by many residents and several elementary schools/madrasah ibtidaiyah

Abstract

The aim of this study is to understand how the evaluation process of student disciplinary character education is conducted at SMP Negeri 7 Palembang. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The study involved 8 informants, including the Principal, Vice Principal, teaching staff, non-teaching staff, students, and 3 parents. Data collection techniques employed include data reduction, data presentation, data verification, and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data was ensured through triangulation, consisting of source triangulation, time triangulation, and technique triangulation. The results of the analysis show that the evaluation has gone well as expected. This is achieved through coordination involving all stakeholders, with plans and objectives set by the principal to all parties. Each stakeholder is required to work together and discuss in advance to ensure that coordination runs smoothly, both in learning and habituation. This coordination is carried out regularly every month. Furthermore, intracurricular implementation involves the application of disciplinary character values in all subjects, attendance recording, and habituation that associates disciplinary character in students. Supervision is carried out by monitoring teacher performance through daily observation and attendance, as well as by building a school culture that supports an environment that pays attention to the character of discipline.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the competence of the school principal in administrative services at MTs An-Nuur Palembang. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The informants in this study consist of 8 people, including the school principal, vice principal, teaching staff, administrative staff, students, and parents. The data collection techniques used include data reduction, data presentation, data verification, and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data is ensured through triangulation, which consists of source triangulation, time triangulation, and technique triangulation. Based on the results and discussion, it is evident that the competence of the school principal in administrative services at MTs An-Nuur Palembang has been well-executed, as seen from three main aspects. The first aspect is the analysis of the improvement of administrative services, where the principal plays a key role in managing administrative services by acting as both a leader and manager who directs and organizes all administrative activities. As a manager, the principal is responsible for ensuring that all administrative processes run efficiently and effectively. The evaluation of the principal's competence shows that an effective principal must be able to provide appropriate guidance and support to all staff, including administrative staff. The impact of improved administrative services indicates that enhancing the principal's competence includes gaining a deeper understanding of school administrative processes
