Abstract

ABSTRAKDiabetes Mellitus (DM) adalah penyakit metabolik kronis yang ditandai dengan peningkatan kadar glukosa darah (atau gula darah). Pola makan yang tidak sehat dan kurangnya aktivitas fisik menjadi faktor risiko terjadinya obesitas dan gangguan metabolik yaitu DM. Kejadian DM di Kelurahan Wulung  cukup tinggi dan bertambah setiap tahunnya. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai konsumsi buah dan sayur sebagai salah satu upaya pencegahan DM serta meningkatkan konsumsi buah dan sayur pada warga di Kelurahan Wulung. Pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan dengan kampanye secara online dengan google meet dan WhatsApp Group pada masyarakat usia 15 tahun ke atas mengenai gerakan konsumsi buah dan sayur. Setelah diadakan kampanye ada peningkatan pengetahuan warga sebesar 13,6% mengenai manfaat buah dan sayur untuk pencegahan DM. Kampanye juga dapat meningkatkan perilaku konsumsi buah dan sayur tiap hari sebesar 19,3%. Kata kunci: pencegahan diabetes melitus; kampanye kesehatan; konsumsi buah dan sayur ABSTRACTDiabetes Mellitus (DM) is a chronic metabolic disease characterized by increased blood glucose (or blood sugar) levels. Unhealthy eating patterns and lack of physical activity are risk factors for obesity and metabolic disorders, namely DM. The incidence of DM in Wulung Village is quite high and increases every year. This community service is carried out to increase public knowledge about fruit and vegetable consumption as an effort to prevent DM and to increase fruit and vegetable consumption among residents in the Wulung Village. Community service is carried out through online campaigns with Google meet and WhatsApp Groups for people aged 15 years and over regarding the fruit and vegetable consumption movement. After the campaign was held, there was an increase in residents' knowledge of 13.6% regarding the benefits of fruits and vegetables for the prevention of DM. Campaigns can also increase fruit and vegetable consumption behavior every day by 19.3%. Keywords: diabetes mellitus prevention; health campaign; consumption of fruits and vegetables

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge, attitudes, and family support on the intention to have sputum examined in a group suspected of having tuberculosis in the Margoyoso II Health Center. The research method used in this research is quantitative. The design in this study is analytic with a cross sectional approach. The results showed that of the 113 respondents who had low knowledge about tuberculosis, 44 (67.7%) had a low attitude towards sputum examination, 47 (65.3%), and 55 (85.9%) had a low level of family support. Results The knowledge variable has a p value of 0.003, attitude has a p value of 0.006, family support has a p value <0.0001. The results of the probability variables of knowledge, attitudes, and family support are smaller than the significant level of 5% (0.05), meaning that it can be concluded that there is a relationship related to knowledge, attitudes, and family support on the intention to check sputum in the suspected tuberculosis group in the Work Area of ​​the Margoyoso II Health Center .
