Abstract

This research aims to implement data mining using the K-Nearest Neighbor method to predict the best-selling products at Alfamart Panglima Polim II. Currently, the store manager relies on subjective analysis based on previous month's sales data, which is ineffective and can lead to excessive stock accumulation. Therefore, this research proposes the use of data mining and the Knearest neighboralgorithm as a more effective approach to determine products that are frequently purchased by consumers. Data mining will be used to analyze previous sales patterns and identify relationships among the existing sales data. The K-Nearest Neighbor method will be applied to classify products based on their similarity to the nearest neighbor in the training data. The expected outcome of this research is to provide strong support to the store manager in making more accurate decisions regarding the best-selling products. By implementing data mining and the K-Nearest Neighbor method, this research aims to address the limitations of the current subjective analysis approach. Consequently, the company can optimize inventory management and improve operational efficiency.

Abstract

So far, the learning process at SMP EXCELLENT 1 is still conventional, in other words that a teaching and learning process between students and teachers can only be carried out on the condition that there are meetings between students and teachers in the classroom. If the meeting between students and teachers does not occur or the teacher in question is not present and learning time is limited by the school, then indirectly the learning process will be hampered. Various new concepts and techniques in teaching have been developed to replace traditional methods which only rely on a one-way teaching method in the classroom. One of the teaching methods that is currently being developed in the present is e-learning. E-learning can help teachers distribute their various teaching materials without having to be in class using the internet, this can maximize the limited learning time in class. The development of technology is currently growing very rapidly and all human activities depend on the sophistication of technology. Some schools and courses have partly used E-Learning in the teaching and learning process. SMP Excellent 1 has a computer laboratory with internet access but does not have supporting facilities such as E-Learning.

Abstract

Decision support system is an arrangement of computer-based information systems that function as decision support in an organization or company. Decision making in determining the provision of financing is very important because with the right decision the provision of financing can be achieved to run well. The decision-making method is useful for determining the best alternative from a number of other alternatives based on certain criteria, including the simple additive weighting method, Weighted Products and Techniques for Order Preference with Similarity to the Ideal Solution. A comparison of the decision support system methods was carried out to determine which method gives the highest value for data accuracy in determining the quality of coffee beans. Based on a comparison of the SAW method, WP and the TOPSIS method, it shows that the weighted product method is more accurate than the simple additive weighting method.
