Abstract

Restaurant Donwoori is a Korean-themed café and restaurant located on the street Lombok, Bandung. Korean Drama becomes a theme in interior design because have a storyline which make the audience feelings mixed between happy and sad. This research aims to find out how the role of Korean Drama becomes a reference in attractive interior design style and also realizing Korean thematic in room. The method carried out qualitatively in from of data collection, observation, documentation, and interviews with visitor. The results show that the use of Korean drama nuances to influence interior style that exist at Donwoori restaurant. Each section has a variant function and interior elements to form the atmosphere of Korean drama such a cutlery, decorative elements, ceiling, lightning, color, application and furniture. The form of interior implementation is carried out towards interior elements utilizing Korean drama series background with the genre of romantic comedy teenager which is loved by many people

Abstract

According to Statistic of Bandung City in 2018, the number of women in the fertile period (15-49 years) has increased from the previous year (2017) of 108.816 people. Thats has an effect on the increasing use of inpatient rooms at women and children hospital. Pregnant and postpartum patients have different emotional and behavioral stability. Uncomfortable inpatient conditions will affect the healing process of the patients apart from the aspect of medical treatment. The solution to this problem is to use the concept of Healing environment. Thia article aims to examine the role of healing environment in achieving comfort in the impatient rooms at women and children hospital. Methods of research that has been done is qualitative. The analysis was performed with observation of application of healing environment’s principles at RSIA Limijati Bandung, RSAB Harapan Kita West Jakarta, and Kemang Medical Care South Jakarta. The result of observation then will assess and used as a guide of the design process. Hoped this article can inspire interior designer to create of impatient rooms in accordance with patient psychology to create rooms comfort for patient.

Abstract

The goal of the research is to provide an explanation of how retail shelves are designed with sustainability in mind, utilizing the Atumics model. Design sustainability is one endeavor to connect the elements of space with human activity in order to remain sustainable. It addresses the conditions and bad repercussions in an environmental crisis, health, and user comfort. Using the model atumics, this research attempts to address the issue of one of the space elements, specifically furniture in the shape of a shed shelf that is used to keep the store's necessities and to exhibit the product for sale. The Atumics model is a sustainable furniture design that combines elements of tradition and current design by combining many design references with pre-existing vintage goods. In order to process data from observations and literary studies, this research use qualitative methodologies. It is anticipated that the findings of this study will serve as the foundation for the development of new furniture innovations with broader designs that can be sold to a larger market. smaller in size and form, and simple to modify to fit the demands of the current market. Furniture is not only utilized in retail establishments; it can also be positioned in other establishments until the property is used as a storage facility
