Abstract

This research is to know the factors influencing the choice of dress for mothers and daughters in KecamatanGondomanan, covering: 1) the choice of model, 2) the choice of cloth (material), 3) the comfortable of wearing. The questions are what factors influencing the choice of dress and what are the reasons. It is a descriptive research, conducted in KecamatanGondomanan Yogyakarta. The number of population is 100 rspondents, the sampel is 70 respondents taken by incidental technique. To explore the data, the quesionaire is used. The data is analyzed by descriptive analysis. From the research results, it is known that 58,6% select kuthubarudress model, 21,4% select moslem dress, and 20% select modification dress. The reason to thekuthubaru selection is that the dress is polite with simple materials and comfort to wear; those who select moslemdressare cause by the aprropraieness to the Islamic rules and it is alson comfortable; modification models are selected bacuse the model is up to date, it is not old fashion, it has some variation and glamour, and the users feel more self-confidence.

Abstract

      The objectives of this research are to know the factors influencing the selection of dress base on: 1) internal factors: personality and knowledge, 2) external factors: communication and social environment. The type of the research is descriptive quantitative. Samples are taken by proportional random sampling. Data are collected by questinaire and documentation. The results show:  the factors influencing the selection of dress are categorized high by relative frequency 74.19%, meaning that good dress performance determines personality of someone. The selection of dress is influenced by two factors, that is, internal and external factors, 2) the large influent factor to the dress selection can be seen from each indicator category. The internal factors cover personality indicator (25.34%) and knowledge (26.67%). External indicator factors of communication environment (21.20%), social environment (26.79). It explains that  social environment factor gives the highest contribution.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out, 1) a negative relationship between juvenile delinquency and learning achievement, 2) a relationship between the social function of family and the learning achievement, and 3)  a relationship between juvenile delinquency and social function of family on learning achievement  in class XI student  Majoring in Vocational Culinary 4 Yogyakarta.  This research includes the study of ex post fact. Methods of data collection using questionnaires and documentation testing instrument research. Technique of analysis data using descriptive analysis and hypothesis testing  using multiple regression test was preceded two predictor test requirements analysis is the normality test, linearity and zero level. The result showed that 1) there is no negative relationship between juvenile delinquency and learning achievement with relationship coefficient  of -0,098<0,18, 2)There is a positive relationship and the significant social function of family and learning achievement with relationship coefficient of 0,350>0,181. 3) there is a significant positive relationship juvenile delinquency and family social functions together with learning achievement with relationship coefficient of 0,649>0.181. and F count =11,693<F table =3,09. Determinant coefficient  between juvenile delinquency family social functioning and academic achievement of 0,220 means that juvenile delinquency and social function the family to contribute to learning achievement of 22 % delinquency relative contribution amounted to 39,94% on learning achievement  and function family social relative contribution of 60,06) on learning achievement. Juvenile delinquency give effective contribution of 8,78% on the learning achievement and social function of family give the effective contribution amount to 13,22% of the learning achievement with a total of 22%.

Abstract

"> The objective of this research is to describethe students’ appreciation toward batik whichincludes love for batik, knowledge variety of batik, an understanding of batik philosophy, a desire to learn batik, and awareness to wear batik.The research question is how do students at theTeacher Training and Education Faculty of Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa appreciatebatik? This research includes a descriptive quantitative research. The number of respondents was119 selected by using a proportional randomsampling technique. The data were revealed byusing a questionnaire. The data analysis useddescriptive quantitative calculations to gainmean, median, mode and standard deviation values. From the calculations, the average value ofbatik appreciation was 59 (an average category).The average value of each indicator consisted of15.9 for the love of batik (an average category);9.1 for knowledge variety of batik (an averagecategory); 10.7 for an understanding of batikphilosophy (a low category); 14.8 for a desire tolearn batik (an average category); and 9.5 forawareness to wear batik (an average category).From these results it is suggested that studentsgain knowledge about batik by reading books inthe future, so they impart knowledge about batikas part of the Indonesian culture that has beenrecognized by UNESCO

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the influence of the use of internet toward learning achievement of fashion design, the use of internet, and  learning achievement of fashion design. This study was ex-post, facto.Student research subjects SMK N 4 Yogyakarta. Data colleting methods used questionnaires and documentation. Data analyzing methods used descriptive analysis and hypothesis testing by using Product Moment that was started by normality and linearity test.  This study shows that the use of internet was in enough category with the percentage 64.29% and learning achievement of fashion design was in high category with relative frequency 62.86%. Based on the result of Product Moment, the score of rxy was 0,518. The score of r table in the significant level 5% for total respondents 70 was 0.235 (rxy 0,518 > r table 0,235). It could be stated there was a positive and significant influence of the use of internet toward learning achievement of fashion design. The determinant coefficient (R2) was 0.268, it means that the use of internet gave contribution for about 26.8%, while 73.2% was influenced by other factors  Key words: the use of internet, learning achievement of fashion design.

Abstract

 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mengembangkan media pembelajaran video  pembuatan body line dilengkapi terjemahan bisindo menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE, 2) Memperoleh media pembelajaran video pembuatan body line dilengkapi terjemahan bisindo yang layak digunakan, 3) Mengetahui tanggapan mahasiswa  terhadap media pembelajaran video pembuatan body line dilengkapi terjemahan bisindo.  Jenis penelitian ini adalah  Research and Development dengan model pengembangan ADDIE dengan tahapan: a) analisis, b) perencanaan, c) pengembangan dan produksi, d) uji coba implementasi, e) Evaluasi. Validasi dan reliabilitas menggunakan judgment experts oleh 2 ahli media dan 2 ahli materi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian pengembangan ini berupa : 1) Media pembelajaran video dengan terjemahan bisindo, 2) Kelayakan pada media  pembelajaran video dilengkapi terjemahan bisindo dengan kategori sangat layak 93.3%, 3) Tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap media pembelajaran video dengan terjemahan bisindo termasuk dalam kategori sangat setuju  63.8% .  This study aims to: 1) Develop a video learning media for body line making equipped with bisindo translation using the ADDIE development model, 2) Obtain a video learning media for body line making equipped with bisindo translation that is suitable for use, 3) Knowing student responses to video learning media for bodyline making with bisindo translation. This type of research is Research and Development with the ADDIE development model with the following stages: a) analysis, b) planning, c) development and production, d) implementation trials, e) evaluation. Validation and reliability using judgment experts by 2 media experts and 2 material experts. Data collection using questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis using descriptive statistics. The results of this development research are in the form of: 1) Video learning media with bisindo translation, 2) Feasibility of video learning media equipped with bisindo translation in the very feasible category of 93.3%, 3) Student responses to video learning media with bisindo translation fall into the category of strongly agree with 63.8%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out: 1). Differences in student learning outcomes, 2). Effectiveness jobsheet, 3). Opinions of students about the use jobsheet. The research hypothesis is that there are differences in the learning outcomes of the experimental and control classes. This type of research is quasi-experimental. The research population was 43 students. The research sample was taken by techni quepurposive which resulted in a total of 21 students. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis and statistical analysis. Research results: 1). There are differences in learning outcomes in making suits, with an average value of the experimental class 74.48, while the control class with an average value of 60.64, 2). Use jobsheet in making suits it is said to be quite effective, seen from the results of the N-Gain test the experimental class obtained an average value = 60.19, 3). Student responses in the use of media jobsheet in fashion subjects custom made in making suits, 77% agreed category, 23% disagreed category, meaning that some students felt very custom made using media jobsheet.
