Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the implementation of online learning of Buddhist religious education teachers at State Elementary School 01 Sripendowo. This research uses a case study method with a qualitative approach. Data were obtained using observation, interview, and documentation methods. Furthermore, the data obtained were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The existence of learning problems during the co-19 pandemic made researchers interested in conducting research related to the online learning communication system. The results showed that teachers used communication elements following the model given by Laswel. In addition, the findings also explain that the teacher takes seven practical strategic steps in carrying out the online learning communication system. This study also found five common barriers experienced by teachers during the implementation of online learning.

Abstract

The community service activities carried out aim to contribute to Buddhism, especially for economic development. This activity was carried out in the village of Binjai Ngagung, located in Bekri District, Central Lampung Regency, Lampung Province. In its implementation, namely optimizing the processing of cassava into tiwul with modern tools so that it becomes a high-value food ingredient. The skills of Binjai Ngagung Buddhists in processing cassava into processed ingredients, especially tiwul, have increased. The number of laymen and women in that village is 120, but only 30% of the numbers make tiwul conventionally. After having training for the number of people, the people who can produce tiwul are about 60% of the 120. When we compare conventional methods and production by machines, there are strong differences. The use of machines can produce Tiwul of about 50 kg, while conventional methods only produce 5 kg.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the competence of educators and education by utilizing Android application-based chanting in the district Buddhist Sunday School Pesawaran so that activities in education can be carried out properly. The target of dedication is the Giri Bhakti Monastery, with a total of 50 participants. Service activities are carried out using various methods, ranging from surveys, focus group discussions, demonstrations, performances, and mentoring. The material training provided includes an introduction to the "Chanting" Application (a pujja bhakti tool) Based on Android. The results of community service activities show success, with indications of high enthusiasm and motivation to utilize the participant's Android application-based chanting at each stage of training activities.
