Abstract

The purpose of this research are to (1) increasing result of student learning in Program Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi Jurusan PIPS FKIP Universitas Jambi at Permodalan Koperasi course in order to obtain minimum average score "B+" as instructional effects which created by the lecturer; (2) increasing motivation of student learning as nurturant effects. This is a descriptive-analitical type of research, using classroom action research. Classroom action research was set for 40 students. Research was designed for 3 cycles, each cycle includes phases of: planning, implementation of action, observation and evaluation, analysis and reflection, and revision for plan and execution of the next cycle. The result indicates that after cycle III the mean result of learning output reaches 75.67, which mean that average level of student competency after cycle III has reached 75.67%. Motivation of student learning reaches highest criterion that is 87%. There is significantly positive correlation between motivation and learning output. If means students who have high motivation to learn will have high result of learning output. As a conclusion, the learning process by applying the cognitive learning model of Robert Gagne at Permodalan Koperasi course Program Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi Jurusan PIPS FKIP Universitas Jambi can increase students motivation and learning output.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the direct and indirect effect of physical working conditions, participation in decision making and anxiety on the occupational stress of teachers. This research applies survey method. Structural equation modeling (SEM) is used to analyses the relationship of variables. There are 358 respondents, included 214 teachers from state primary schools, 88 teachers from state junior high schools, and 56 teachers from state senior high schools. Results show that there are direct negative and significant effect of the physical working conditions and participation in decision making to anxiety, direct positive and significant effect of anxiety to occupational stress, and indirect negative and significant effect of physical working conditions and participation in decision making to occupational stress through anxiety. These findings have an implication on the policy maker to give counseling, and training to assist all teachers in comprehending and recognizing the cause and impact of occupational stress.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to develop ‘Buku Ajar Permodalan Koperasi” and describe the effectivity of that textbook in student learning motivation and student learning achievement. The textbook has been developed using the Four-D model of Thiagarajan et al, 1974, that include phase of define, design, develop, and disseminate. The textbook consist of six chapter based on Atwi Suparman model (Panen and Purwanto, 2001). Result from this classroom action research shows that the textbook can develop student learning motivation and also student academic achievement.
