Abstract

1. The purpose of this research is to know: 1) Product of teaching material (module) of Basic Pedosphere geography in SMA Negeri 5 Ternate by using education based on local advantage 2). To know the feasibility of product of teaching materials (module) of geography at SMA Negeri 5 Kota Teranate. Data collection using intrument in the form of questionnaire,, questionnaire that used consist of two part that is part I in the form of assessment questionnaire and part II in the form of suggestion sheet and comment from validator. Data were analyzed by using qualitative descriptive analysis. The result of the research shows that (1) The compilation of geography-based teaching materials based on local advantage in the form of module to facilitate teaching and learning activities for teachers and students in SMA and MA Class X especially in SMA Negeri 5 Ternate. (2) used in high school and MA Class X especially in SMA Negeri 5 Ternate City..

Abstract

This research aims to find out: 1 Perceptions of student competency) professional teachers; 2) student learning outcomes; 3) influence the perceptions of students on the professional competence of teachers towards learning outcomes students. This research is the research of ex post facto. Free variables i.e. perception of students on the professional competence of teachers and variable is the result of student learning. Student population of Class XI IPS amounted to 49 students, samples taken 100% is 49 students. The collection of data through observation, question form and the documentation value of Deuteronomy daily student. Data analysis using descriptive analysis and inferensial correlation coefficients of determination of Moment, Product, test data, test the normality and simple linear regression linearity. The results showed that: 1) perceptions of students on the professional competence of teachers having an average score of 3.13 percentage with 78.25% higher categories include; student learning outcome 2) has an average of 3.18 with a percentage of 79.5% categories include enough; 3) inferensial analysis results obtained r_hitung (0.511) greater than r_tabel (0,281) with 5% error level. It can be concluded that the perceptions of students on professional competence teachers influential significantly to student learning outcomes of 26.1% and regression equation Ỷ = 55.639 + 0.476 X can be used in prediction of the level of perception of students on professional competence teachers learn if the result is raised or lowered.

Abstract

The objective of the research was to find out the students’ study motivation in learning geography. The research method applied on this research was descriptive. Descriptive method aimed at finding the level of students’ study motivation  in learning geography at the first grade students of SMA Gowa Raya Sungguminasa. The instrument used to know thelevel of student’s study motivation in this research is questionnaires consist of 32 items for students’ motivation .The questionnaires are giving to the 19 sample of this research. After calculating the questionnaires of students’ study motivation, it is known that the level of students’ study motivation is at good category. Meanwhile the other things that influence the students’ study motivation are passion and wish of student to be succesful, the push and need to study, there is hope and desire, appreciation in learning, there is interesting activity in learning and study in conducive environment of study.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the spatial distribution of robberies in Makassar city by using crime mapping (crime analysis) through Geographic Information System in order to find a novel solution to deal with them. This study employs spatial analysis and snowball sampling to analyze and collect the data. The results show that the spatial pattern of robberies between 2015 and 2016 was cluster consisted of three categories high, medium and low crime density, and it also reveals that there was significant increase the number of robberies from 76 to 140 cases in 2015 and 2016 respectively. In addition, based on the time series analysis, it shows that in 2015 the high crime occurred in August, September, and April meanwhile the low crime was in January, October, November, and December. In 2016, the high crime was in March, September and October while medium crime happened mostly in January, April, Mei, June, July and August, and there was not low crime recorded in 2016.

Abstract

This research aims: 1) To know the aspects that support the development of land areas Rammang-rammang Karst Landscape as a tourist area. 2) To find the object that has the potential to be developed in Rammang-rammang karst landscapes. 3) To know the steps taken in the development of ecotourism in the Rammang-rammang karst landscape. Objects in this study are tourists and the public. The data presented in the form of primary data taken from questionnaires " The potential development of  Rammang-rammang  karst  landscape as  an ecotourism in Salenrang  village  Bontoa district   Maros  regency ". Decision informant taken by using accidental sampling and snowball sampling technique. Analysis of the data used is descriptive qualitative analysis and SWOT analysis. The results showed that straregi corresponding development in the karst landscape of business development Rammang-rammang as ecotourism is a strategy Strength - Opportunities. Conclusion Among other aspects that support the development of land areas Rammang-rammang Karst Landscape as ecotourism, namely topography, land use, flora and fauna, the presence of water and rainfall, community activities, job type visitor / tourist, infrastructure and programs government. The object that has the potential to be developed in Rammang-rammang karst landscapes include Stone Forest, Bulu Barakka Cave, Acient  Cave, Bidadari lake, Pute river and Berua Village.
