Abstract

This Floods occur frequently in Indonesai also in Jayapura, one of the negative impacts being felt on the world of education, namely the damage to educational facilities and infrastructure, including damage to the tools used to carry out physics practicums at SMA Negeri 4 Jayapura. Efforts to continue to carry out practicum activities are by utilizing applications found on smartphones as practicum media including the EveryCircuit application and Logic Circuit Simulator in electrical experiments. In carrying out the activity, no significant obstacles were found because the students were accustomed to using smartphones and easily understood the use of the given application because a practicum guidebook was available. The EveryCircuit application and Logic Circuit Simulator can be used as a tool to be used as a virtual laboratory in carrying out physics practicums in schools, especially in the learning process during the post-disaster period and for schools that do not yet have a laboratory or special equipment in the electronics field. Keywords: the everycircuit application; logic circuit simulator; educational facilities and infrastructure; education

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the increase in the HOTS of students using learning modules based on a scientific approach to the material of temperature and its changes. The sample taken in this study was 34 students of grade 7 MTs. Jayapura City State. This study uses a classroom action research method that uses 3 cycles to determine the increase in HOTS. The results showed that in learning using the module, students' HOTS increased with the n-Gain value of the cycle (1) of 0.57, (2) of 0.58, and (3) of 0.64 with an average n-Gain value. of 0.60 medium categories. Based on this, it can be concluded that students have sufficient higher-order thinking skills (HOTS).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the stress value of a mixture of watermelon rind with mineral water and a mixture of watermelon rind and seawater concerning time. The benefit of this research is to provide information about the stress value of the mixture of watermelon rind with mineral water and to provide information about the stress value of the mixture of watermelon rind and seawater. The method that will be used is experimental by testing its tension using a multimeter. The results obtained in this study are: A mixture of watermelon rind with mineral water produces a voltage value in the range of 568 mV - 4280 mV, but the research data has not shown a pattern. The mixture of watermelon rind with seawater produces a voltage value in the range of 338 mV-4240 mV. At the same time of measurement, the number of cells is proportional to the voltage value. The value of the voltage is inversely proportional to the length of the measurement. Keywords: voltage, watermelon, mineral water, sea waters

Abstract

Buah merah merupakan hasil pertanian yang berasal dari Provinsi Papua. Untuk masyarakat setempat, diyakini bahwa buah Pandanus conoideus L. dapat mengobati beberapa penyakit degeneratif seperti kanker, arteriosklerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, dan stroke. Olahan minyak buah merah saat ini telah dikembangkan menjadi produk minyak buah merah. Besarnya potensi nilai ekonomis dari minyak buah merah maka terdapat peluang terjadinya kecurangan terhadap penjualan minyak buah merah yaitu dengan mencampurkan bahan tambahan ke dalam minyak buah merah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengukur nilai konstanta dielektrik dari buah merah yang telah diberikan tambahan minyak goreng dengan menvariasikan volume dari minyak goreng kemasan yang digunakan. Pengukuran nilai konstanta dieletrik minyak buah merah dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode pelat sejajar yang diletakkan pada wadah yang berisi minyak buah merah. Pencampuran minyak buah merah dan minyak goreng dilakukan dengan cara menambahkan minyak goreng ke dalam minyak buah merah. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa pada penambahan minyak goreng pada minyak buah merah akan merubah nilai konstanta dielektrik minyak buah merah tetapi agak sulit dibedakan karena nilai awal konstanta keduanya berada pada nilai yang hampir sama.
