Abstract

Suatu himpunan  disebut ruang metrik dengan fungsi metrik  apabila memenuhi sifat tak negatif, simetris dan ketaksamaan segitiga. Jarak pada  adalah jarak terpendek dari dua buah titik yang dihubungkan dengan sebuah garis lurus. Beberapa karakteristik jarak pada  antara lain diameter suatu himpunan, jarak antara titik dan himpunan, dan jarak antara dua himpunan. Pada penelitian ini dipelajari karakteristik jarak pada ruang metrik  yang diterapkan pada lingkaran sebagai salah satu himpunan yang ada di .Kata Kunci: Ruang Metrik, Jarak, Lingkaran

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic caused the price of gold produced by PT Aneka Tambang (Antam) to experience a high increase following the world gold price, while stock investment decreased. Measuring risk is significant in financial analysis; this is related to investment funds, which are quite large and narrow about public funds. This study analyzes the risk data on Antam gold price and Antam stock closing price with an estimated Shortfall (ES). The method used to measure the risk of investing in stocks is ES. ES is the expectation of a conditional loss that exceeds Value at Risk (VaR). To compute ES data showing deviations from normality and Cornish-Fisher expansion. The volatility measurement model used is the autoregressive conditional heteroskedasticity (ARCH) and generalized ARCH (GARCH) model.This study found that the ES value of Antam gold price was smaller than Antam stock price.

Abstract

Asuransi kesehatan merupakan asuransi dimana pihak penanggung menjamin segala kemungkinan yang terjadi pada diri tertanggung terkait dengan masalah kesehatanya sesuai dengan perjanjian yang telah di sepakati. Ada dua jenis perawatan yang ditawarkan oleh produk asuransi kesehatan, yaitu rawat inap dan rawat jalan. Pada penelitian ini data yang dianalisis adalah data peserta asuransi kesehatan untuk kasus rawat jalan. Data dikelompokkan menjadi 3 kategori berdasarkan tingkatan usia, yaitu risiko rendah, resiko sedang, dan risiko tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung besar biaya premi murni yang harus dibayarkan oleh peserta kepada perusahaan asuransi kesehatan berdasarkan tingkatan usia. Model yang digunakan pada simulasi adalah distribusi Poisson dan distribusi Normal melalui pemograman mengunakan software R. Dari hasil simulasi, untuk total peserta asuransi sebanyak 10.000 orang masing-masing besar biaya premi murni risiko rendah Rp. 735.657,4, premi murni risiko sedang Rp. 783.852,7, dan premi murni risiko tinggi Rp.876.951,7.

Abstract

The SARS-CoV-2 virus causes the infectious disease COVID-19. This virus can be transmitted via the fomite mode of transmission (the surface of objects contaminated with the virus). It is possible to prevent the spread of COVID-19 by spraying disinfectant on infected objects. This research aims to develop a mathematical model of COVID-19 fomite transmission with disinfectant spraying intervention. The model was analyzed by determining its stability and critical point. A Ro analysis was conducted to determine the impact of disinfectant spraying on the eradication or spread of the disease. The results demonstrated that, in the absence of disinfectant spraying, the number of infected humans increased rapidly and abruptly. Based on the findings of sensitivity analysis, it is known that spraying disinfectants is highly effective at reducing Ro, thereby reducing the number of infected humans and eradicating the disease from the population. In this study, the recommended measure to prevent the spread of COVID-19 is the periodic application of disinfectant in accordance with medical regulations.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil PISA, pengetahuan dan kemampuan literasi matematika peserta didik masuk dalam kategori rendah. Pada tahun 2018, Indonesia berapa pada peringkat 63 dari 72 negara. Salah satu bentuk upaya yang dilakukan dalam mengembangkan kemampuan literasi matematika peserta didik yaitu dengan menyisipkan computational thinking pada proses pembelajaran. Langkah pertama yang dapat dilakukan dalam mengembangkan kemampuan literasi adalah memberikan pelatihan kepada guru tentang bagaiman cara desain soal dengan injeksi computational thinking. Hal ini dikarenakan guru mempunyai peranan penting dalam proses pembelajaran dan terlibat langsung interaksi dengan siswa. Tujuan dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini agar setiap guru mempunyai bekal dan gambaran penerapan computational thinking dalam mata pelajaran matematika. Adapun hasil kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah guru mampu desain soal literasi matematika dengan injeksi computational thinking dan dapat diterapkan di kelas sebagai latihan soal sehingga mampu meningkatkan penalaran dan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

When graphs are used to solve the problem of determining the shortest route, it has become a common topic of discussion. Typically, these solutions are used to optimize aspects such as travel time. Using the Floyd-Warshall and A* algorithms, this research assists the community, particularly visitors, in determining the most sensible route from the Rimbo Panjang front gate to each building at UIN Suska Riau. The calculation technique is performed manually. The algorithm developed by Floyd Warshall yields more efficient calculation results. The results of calculations conducted by both algorithms are the same and have the correct minimum weight value. In a comparative analysis test, Warshall's algorithm is more efficient than the A* algorithm because it has a higher minimum weight that has been effectively tested for distance, trajectory, and distance. A comparison of the Floyd-Warshall algorithm and the A* algorithm reveals that the Floyd-Warshall algorithm determines the shortest route more effectively.

Abstract

Mathematical models are often used to describe phenomena in the field of biology, such as the spread of infectious diseases, one of which is HIV/AIDS. The prevention of HIV/AIDS is through education on the dangers of HIV/AIDS, and ART treatment for HIV positive individuals to increase immunity. The purpose of this study is to analyze the dynamic mathematical model of the transmission of HIV/AIDS with ART treatment and education. This research is a literature study. This study develops the SITA model, by including compartments of susceptible individuals who are aware of the spread of HIV/AIDS and add several parameters to the model. Based on the mathematical model used, two equilibrium points are obtained, namely the disease-free equilibrium point and the endemic equilibrium point, the basic reproduction number and stability analysis around the stability point. Based on the data used, a simulation of the transmission of HIV/AIDS was obtained at both equilibrium points. The stability analysis shows that the disease-free equilibrium point is locally asymptotically stable if R01.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain a model and determine the best model of the results of the number of train passengers in West Sumatra using Seasonal Autoregressive Integrate Moving Average (SARIMA). The research data comes from secondary data obtained from PT.KAI (Persero) Regional Division II West Sumatra to see the number of train passengers with a time span of January 2017 to April 2020. The results showed that the best model obtained was SARIMA. Selection of the best model based on the smallest AIC value of several models that have been obtained through ACF and PACF plots. Based on the best model, the forecasting results are close to the actual data, so the SARIMA model is suitable for forecasting.
