Abstract

AbstractThe problem of this research is the low level of physical fitness students of SMAN 1 West Sumatra. This research’s purpose is to know the effect of circuit training method and SKJ 2012 training method on increasing physical fitness of the students of SMAN 1 West Sumatra.The method used in this research is quasi experimental, revealing the design of circuit training method and SKJ 2012 training method. The sample is 40 students of  SMAN 1 West Sumatra.The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. After a pre-test, the samples was divided into two group, the circuit training method group and SKJ 2012 training method group. Each group consisted of 20 students. Treatments were done 16 times with training frequency at three times a week. Training duration was ± 120 minutes every meeting. The instrument used to measure the student’s level of physical fitness is TKJI test. Hypothesis 1 and 2 used data analysis of dependent sample t-test and hypothesis 3 used independent sample t- test. The results shows that: 1) circuit training method has significant effect on physical fitness, the average score increased from 13,20 in pre-test increased by 4,05 become 17,25 in post-test, also the statistic results show that (tcount 20,419 > ttable 1,72).  2) SKJ 2012 training method has significant effect on physical fitness, the average score increased from 12,85 in pre-test increased by 2,45 becomes 15,30 in post-test with (tcount 15,964 > ttable 1,72). 3) There is a difference between Method Effect of Exercise Circuit and Method of Physical Fitness Exercise (SKJ 2012) Toward Improved Physical Fitness, where (tcount 6,380 > ttable 2,03). In looking at the magnitude of the mean, mean turns Circuit Training Method larger than the mean Physical Fitness Exercise Method (SKJ 2012) (17,25> 15,30) this means that more effective method Circuit Exercise Improves Physical Fitness a student. Keywords : Circuit Training Method, SKJ 2012 Training Method, Increasing Physical Fitness

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation on teacher performance, the effect of professional competence on teacher performance at State Middle School Tebing Tinggi District, Meranti Islands Regency, Riau Province. The research uses a quantitative approach with a simple random sampling technique with the intention that each subject has the same opportunity to be sampled. The population of this study were all teachers who taught at State Junior High Schools in Tebing Tinggi District, consisting of 52 teachers. Data collection techniques are by questionnaire, observation and documentation. The results of this study indicate that: 1) There is a positive and significant influence between work motivation on teacher performance as indicated by the results of the t test obtained by a tcount of 4.455 greater than the ttable value of 1.671 at a significance level of 5% with a determinant coefficient of 0.284 so that it can be concluded teacher performance is influenced by work motivation by 28.4% while 71.6% teacher performance is influenced by other variables that cannot be explained in this study. 2) There is a positive and significant influence between professional competence on teacher performance as indicated by the results of the t test obtained by a tcount of 5.857 greater than the ttable value of 1.671 at a significance level of 5%, with a determinant coefficient of 0.407 so it can be concluded that teacher performance is influenced by competence professionalism of 40.7% while 57.3% of teacher performance is influenced by other variables that cannot be explained in this study. 3) There is a jointly positive and significant influence between work motivation and professional competence on teacher performance as indicated by the results of the F test, namely the value of Fcount > Ftable (21.729 > 3.190) at a significance level of 5%

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian dilakukan secara deskriptif, yaitu dengan menyebarkan angket tertutup pada sampel untuk melakukan survei. Jumlah subjek atau sampel diperoleh dengan metode teknik proporsional random sampling adalah 75 orang. Hasil survei terhadap data sampel dianalisis dengan menggunakan data statistik. Instrumen tersebut digunakan untuk mengetahui persepsi Masyarakat Indragiri Hilir Riau Terhadap Olahraga Tradisional Pacu Sampan Leper dalam Melestarikan Kebudayaan Daerah. Sebelum penelitian, terlebih dahulu perlu diketahui validitas dan reliabilitas angket dan instrumen pada penelitian tersebut. Uji Validitas dan reliabilitas angket yang berjumlah 36 butir pertanyaan yang akan digunakan pada penelitian ini telah valid dan reliabel dari angket yang berjumlah 40 angket pertanyaan yang akan diujicobakan. Hasilnya, menunjukkan bahwa dari indikator stimulus, dengan sub indikator pengetahuan tentang olahraga tradisional pacu sampan Leper memberikan hasil 71,35%, sub indikator manfaat olahraga tradisional Pacu Sampan Leper diperoleh hasil 67,61%. Lalu pada Indikator penginderaan, dengan sub indikator lingkungan menunjukkan bahwa 63,67%, sub indikator kegiatan menunjukkan 74,46%. Sedangkan indikator tanggapan, dengan sub indikator pemain olahraga tradisional pacu sampan Leper sebesar 73,36%, sub indikator sarana dan prasarana sebesar 78,45%, sub indikator prestasi olahraga tradisional Pacu Sampan Leper sebesar 71,69%. Sehingga totalnya sebesar 72,65%, dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa persepsi masyarakat Indragiri Hilir Riau Terhadap Olahraga Tradisional Pacu Sampan Leper dalam Melestarikan Kebudayaan Daerah termasuk pada kategori Baik. Kata kunci: Persepsi masyarakat, olahraga tradisional pacu sampan leper, memberdayakan dan melestarikan Abstract. The research was conducted descriptively, namely by distributing closed questionnaires to the sample to conduct a survey. The number of subjects or samples obtained by the method of proportional random sampling technique is 75 people. The results of the survey on the sample data were analyzed using statistical data. The instrument was used to determine the perception of the Indragiri Hilir community of Riau on the traditional sport of Pacu Sampan Leper in Preserving Regional Culture. Before the research, it is necessary to know the validity and reliability of the questionnaires and instruments in the study. Test the validity and reliability of the questionnaire, amounting to 36 questions used in this study, has been valid and reliable from the questionnaire totaling 40 questions that will be tested. The results show that from the stimulus indicator, with the sub-indicator of knowledge about the traditional sport of Pacu Sampan Leper giving 71.35% results, the sub-indicator of the benefits of the traditional sport Pacu Sampan Leper getting 67.61% results. Then on the sensing indicator, with the environmental sub-indicator showing 63.67%, the activity sub-indicator shows 74.46%. While the response indicators, with the sub-indicator of traditional sporting Pacu Sampan Leper being 73.36%, sub-indicator of facilities and infrastructure of 78.45%, and sub-indicator of traditional sports performance of Pacu Sampan Leper being 71.69%. So, the total is 72.65%, and it can be concluded that the people of Indragiri Hilir Riau's perception of the Traditional Sport of Pacu Sampan Leper in Preserving Regional Culture is included in the good category. Abstract

Indonesia is a large country with islands stretching from Sabang to Merauke, making Indonesia the largest archipelagic country globally. As a sizeable multicultural country, there are various kinds of culture and traditional games in it. One of them is the conventional Chian-Cui game. Chian-Cui is one of the conventional games typical of the Meranti Islands Long Strait, where this game is a water war game that involves many creations and people. Chian-Cui is a water war game often played during Chinese New Year celebrations for the Selatpanjang Chinese community. This article aims to reveal and introduce traditional games typical of the Meranti Islands. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach, where the data obtained in the field are then documented and described in the form of a qualitative descriptive narrative. The results obtained in this study include the traditional game of Chian-Cui Selatpanjang Meranti Islands can add to the atmosphere of excitement and entertainment for the community in celebrating the Chinese New Year. Furthermore, the conventional Chian-Cui game can increase local and foreign tourists every year. When entering the Chinese New Year celebration, many local and foreign tourists visit Selatpanjang. Furthermore, the traditional game of Chian-Cui Selatpanjang Meranti Islands can be a manifestation of the introduction of the local culture of the Selatpanjang community, especially the Chinese community and the Meranti Archipelago Malay community.

Abstract

This study analyzes the management policy of standardizing elementary school physical education learning infrastructure in 66 schools in 5 sub-districts of Se-Kota Langsa. This study aims to explore, find, and provide policy recommendations for standardizing infrastructure facilities to support effective learning. The implication is that if every elementary school has adequate infrastructure, it will impact the quality of learning. This approach uses qualitative policy research design. The study subjects were 66 elementary school principals, two from the education office, and local government. Data collection by observation, documentation, interviews, and literature studies. Data analysis uses data collection, data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing, and data validity by triangulation to find the validity of research data. The results of research from 66 elementary schools in Langsa City showed that only five schools met the standards, 61 schools did not meet the requirements, and the category was not feasible for infrastructure in terms of at least four aspects, namely the width of the infrastructure sector, building area, classrooms, and installations according to Permendiknas No. 24 of 2007 concerning learning infrastructure standards at the elementary level. From these four aspects, at least 61 schools located in narrow areas are not feasible to build standardized classrooms and sports infrastructure, at least multipurpose courts that can play badminton, volleyball, and mini soccer courts to support the learning activities of elementary school students. In contrast, five schools meet minimum standards and are fair. The impact of inadequate physical education infrastructure in 61 primary schools has been modified so that students are ineffective in learning.

Abstract

Pelatih fisik (Strength Conditioning) menjadi peluang yang besar bagi Mahasiswa Pendidikan Jasmani FKIP UNSAM dalam mengembangkan bakat dan potensi. Peluang ini tentunya harus didukung dengan kualifikasi yang sesuai melalui pelatihan berlisensi sehingga mempunyai legalitas. Mendukung program ini Mahasiswa melakukan Pelatihan pelatih fisik yang dilaksanakan selama tiga hari dimulai dari tanggal 6 sampai 8 Februari 2023. Peserta pelatihan adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Jasmani semester VI yang berjumlah 30 orang mahasiswa. Tujuan pelatihan sebagai upaya Peningkatan kompetensi mahasiswa dengan memberikan pengalaman, pengetahuan dan pelatihan untuk capaian IKU Perguruan Tinggi. Peningkatan IKU perguruan tinggi sangat mendukung kompetensi lulusan, khususnya pada Prodi Pendidikan Jasmani FKIP Universitas Samudra dengan pelatihan profesional pelatih fisik. Waktu pelaksanaan kegiatan ini mencakup lima tahapan dimulai dari pretes teori dan praktik, pemaparan materi secara kolaboratif dengan metode teori, praktik, diskusi dan tanya jawab. Penyampaian materi yaitu melakukan implementasi dengan praktik menyusun program latihan dan tahapan terakhir melakukan evaluasi pelatihan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan pelatihan ini mempunyai manfaat yang besar dalam menunjang kompetensi SDM mahasiswa. Dengan adanya pelatihan pelatih fisik tingkat dasar dapat memberikan daya saing mahasiswa setelah lulus sehingga mahasiswa Pendidikan Jasmani FKP Universitas Samudra memiliki skill melatih dengan dibekali sertifikat kompetensi pelatih fisik.Physical training (Strength Conditioning) is a great opportunity for FKIP UNSAM Physical Education Students to develop talents and potential. This opportunity must certainly be supported by appropriate qualifications through reviewed training so that it has legality. Supporting this program, students conduct physical trainer training, which will be held for three days from February 6 to 8, 2023. The training participants were Physical Education students in semester VI, totaling 30 students. The training aims to increase student competence by providing experience, knowledge, and training for the achievements of IKU Universitas. The improvement of higher education at IKU greatly supports the competence of graduates, especially in the Physical Education Study at FKIP Universitas Samudra, with professional training of physical trainers. The method of implementing this activity includes five stages, starting from theoretical and practical pretests, collaborative presentation of material with theory, practice, discussion, and question and answer methods. The material delivery is implemented by compiling training programs and the last stage of evaluating training. The evaluation results show that this training greatly benefits student HR competencies. The basic level of physical trainer training can provide student competitiveness after graduation so that Physical Education students of FKP Universitas Samudra have training skills by being equipped with a physical trainer competency certificate.
