Abstract

The success of someone in the MLM network is very dependent on the number of members in the group or network of the down line. Therefore, with existence of development process of this network, as an MLM distributor must to have ability of self-leadership, self-efficacy and as well as motivation is inside. Data collected with questionnaire method. Data analyze technique used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Empirical finding indicate that self-leadership have direct influence to self-efficacy. Then self-efficacy influence to performance through motivation was bigger than self-efficacy influence to performance.Key words : Self-leadership, self-efficacy, motivation and performance

Abstract

Human resources are the most important resource compared to other resources because humans are able to provide talents, expertise, knowledge, and experience to achieve organizational goals. PT Matsuzawa Pelita Furniture Indonesia (PT MPFI) to improve company performance in the field of human resources is to impose reward and punishment with purpose of applying reward is to motivate employees to achieve high work performance, while punishment is applied to form a positive characteristic that prevents employees from taking actions that harm the company and can improve employee performance. This research was conducted to examine the effect of reward and punishment on the performance of the employees of PT MPFI. Data was collected using a questionnaire method with a total of 50 respondents from PT MPFI employees. Data analysis techniques use Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) version 20. The results of the study indicate that rewards have an effect on performance then the results of the second variable also show that punishment influences the performance of employees at PT MPFI.Keywords: Reward, Punishment, Performance

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim to find out and explain and explaining the influence between the variables of work discipline, compensation and performance. This research is a field study conducted at PT Provices Indonesia, a company engaged in the outsourcing sector, with a sample of 43 people using non-probability sampling through a purposive sampling approach. The analysis method uses descriptive statistical analysis, classical assumption test and t test. Based on the results of the t test the work discipline variable has t count 2.618> 2.020 t table with a significance of 0.012 <0.05, that work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This shows that work discipline affects the performance of employees of PT Provices Indonesia. Then based on the results of the t test the compensation variable has a sig value. amounting to t count 3.053> t table 2.020 with a significance of 0.004 <0.05 that the compensation variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This shows that compensation has an effect on the performance of PT Provices Indonesia employees. Based on the results of the R square test, the value is 0.395, this shows that the influence of work discipline and compensation variables on performance is 39.5% and the remaining 60.5% is influenced by other factors not examined.
