Abstract

Mushrooms are one type of horticultural products that can be developed and directed to be able to improve the nutritional state of society. Oyster mushrooms are a safe food to consume due to the relatively little use of pesticides and chemicals. Efficient marketing channels are influenced by the relevant marketing institutions in them. The purpose of this study is (1) Analyzing the income efficiency of white oyster mushroom farming in Barokah Jaya, (2) Knowing the marketing chain of white oyster mushrooms in Barokah Jaya and (3) Analyzing the marketing efficiency of oyster mushrooms in Barokah Jaya. The sampling method used in this study is purposive sampling technique that is sampling with the aim of businesses. Based on the results of the analysis of the efficiency of oyster mushroom farming revenue from 2015 to 2019 R/C ratio is greater than one. The highest R/C ratio in 2018 was R/C ratio over Total Cost of 9.4 and R/C cash cost ratio of 12.5. In 2015, 2016 and 2019 with the lowest R/C ratio of R/C ratio over Total Cost of 8.54 and R/C cash cost ratio of 10.9. Barokah Jaya has two marketing channels, farmer's share channel pattern one in 2015, 2016 and 2019 by 70.00 percent in 2017 by 75.00 percent and in 2018 by 71.05 percent. Farmer's share of channel two patterns in 2015, 2016 and 2019 was 77.8 percent, 2017 was 80.00 percent and 2018 was 79.4 percent. Of the two marketing channels above the most profitable are in the second marketing channel pattern.

Abstract

Salak is one of the commodities that exist in Indonesia which was developed around the 1980s with sweet and crunchy. Jember Regency is one of the salak producers, precisely in Salakan Hamlet in Semboro Village, where 95% of the people produce salak. The aims of this research are (1). To find out supply chain activities on salak in Salakan Hamlet, (2). To find out the existing marketing margin for Salak in Salakan Hamlet, (3). To find out the efficiency of the Salak Marketing Channel in Salakan Hamlet. The sampling method used in this study is the random sampling method. The results of this study indicate that 1) Marketing channels in Dusun Salakan has 2 channels, namely: Channel I (producer-retailer-consumer), Channel II (producer-collector-traders-retailer-consumer). 2) Margins for each marketing channel I are 1500/kg, while the margins for channel II are 1500 and 2500/kg. 3) the marketing channel in salak which has the most efficient level of efficiency is channel I which is 8.33%. And the highest or most inefficient is channelĀ  IIĀ  by 9.74%. So an effective supply chain is to use a short marketing chain so that marketing costs can be suppressed and marketing profits are higher.

Abstract

The progress of a country can be seen through its economic growth, where Economic Growth is one of the determining indicators of success in economic development. Economic activities are efforts to improve the welfare of society, and with increasing economic growth, the needs of the people can be fulfilled. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are one of the areas of focus for the government and society at large because MSMEs play an important role. MSMEs are a way to address poverty issues and drive economic growth. Moreover, MSMEs provide another avenue for job creation. Indonesia has a significant number of business players, but there are several factors that can hinder their business activities, such as limited capital, low-quality resources, inefficient production systems, lack of financial management systems, inadequate marketing strategies, and a shortage of business premises. This study aims to analyze and determine the influence of Business Duration, Capital, and Technology on the income of business actors in the CFD event in Kalisat Village. The results of the study show that the variables of Business Duration, Capital, and Technology have a positive effect, and only the Capital variable has a significant impact on the income of business actors.

Abstract

In Indonesia, stunting is also an urgent public health problem. This study identified several main factors that contribute to stunting, such as family income, exclusive breastfeeding practices, parental education, nutritional knowledge, food access, and complementary feeding practices. Awareness and appropriate action from the community is very important in preventing stunting. The aim of the implementation activities in Karang Semanding Hamlet, Sukorejo Village, Bangsalsari District, Jember Regency is to overcome the problem of stunting by providing counseling and assistance to pregnant women and toddlers who are members of the Family Hope Program (PKH). The training was attended by 25 PKH members. The results of the activity showed that there was an increase in members' knowledge about stunting and stunting prevention, who initially did not understand, now they understood. It is hoped that future activities can apply stunting prevention methods to improve health and reduce stunting rates. Therefore, it is hoped that education and counseling about stunting will be key in efforts to overcome this problem and improve the quality of life for children in the future.
