Abstract

The background of this research begins with the existence of Muslim Dayakcounselors in schools who get a negative perception of the social environmentregarding the existence of tribal counselors based on the religion adopted. Thisresearch method uses a qualitative approach where researchers act as keyinstruments, data collection techniques using interviews, observation,documentation studies and data triangulation, data analysis results from acombination of all data collection techniques that produce qualitative meaningsand propositions. The negative perception of the social environment is the mainproblem of the formation of the identity of Muslim Dayak counselors that isstrongly believed by the counselor, for which Muslim Dayak counselors needgood communication skills in conveying their identities to the socialenvironment so that the formation of self-identity can be done well. OverallMuslim Dayak counselors are able to introduce self-identity well without anyobstacles based on the religion adopted. This happened partly because of thephilosophy of Huma Betang which contained values of tolerance and mutualrespect among religious believers who could reduce negative perceptions of thesocial environment about the existence of Muslim Dayak counselors.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to comprehend multicultural competency of counselor in Dayak tribe in the Middle Kalimantan with etnography type. The data analysis that used is data and analysis triangulation towards culture theme.  Accordingly, the culture values of Dayak ethnic that reflects on Huma Betang filosophy consists of four main values, they are togetherness, honesty, equality and tolerance. They are aimed to actualize society life of the Middle Kalimantan that full of peace, safety and harmony. Counselor absorps the culture values to actualize multikultural competency on counselor.

Abstract

The aims of this study was to find the ideal personal values of the counselor based on the isen mulang philosophy of the Dayak tribe. The research method used is qualitative where researchers act as key instruments, data collection techniques are interviews, observation and documentation studies. The results of the study are that the isen mulang philosophy contains four main values, namely the value of struggle, the value of heroism, the value of sacrifice, and the value of spirit never giving up. The four elements of the isen mulang values are implemented by counselors in everyday life to form an ideal personal competence of the counselor.

Abstract

Pancasila is a state philosophy that must be adhered to by all Indonesians, Counselors as Guidance and Counseling Teachers must provide reinforcement of Pancasila and Nationality values to all students in the school. The research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation, documentation studies and data triangulation. Abstract

The Dayak tribe in Central Kalimantan has a traditional custom house called the Huma Betang. Huma Betang is a stilt-shaped house that extends and can be inhabited by hundreds of people. Huma Betang is not only seen as a physical building, but also contains philosophical values contained in it. The purpose of this study is to discover the philosophical valuesof Huma Betang which are the teachings, traditions and heritage of the ancestors. The research method used is a qualitative approach to data collection techniques,namely interviews, observation, documentation study, and audio-visual information. The results and discussion found a description that the values of the Huma Betang philosophy consisted of 4 main elements namely the value of togetherness, honesty, equality, and tolerance. The implementation of Huma Betang values can be seen in the daily life of Dayak residents such as traditional Tiwah rituals, mutual cooperation, building houses, mutual respect and respect among people of different ethnic, religious, racial, class and cultural backgrounds. Huma Betang has the main function of maintaining harmony and unity of the people of Central Kalimantan for the creation of conditions for a safe, peaceful and harmonious society.

Abstract

Abstract

The background of this research is the Sundanese Straits tsunami disaster in 2018 which caused casualties, death, serious injuries, minor injuries, loss of shelter, transportation, and materials. Survivors of the tsunami tragedy impacted psychological disorders in the form of post-disaster trauma. The purpose of this scientific research is to look at the psychological impact of post-disaster trauma experienced by children and the handling methods used through traumatic counseling. This is because children have weak mental or psychological conditions compared to adults in the face of trauma. The method used is a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are interviews, documentation studies, and audio-visual information. The research location is in the area of ​​Labuan Pandeglang, Banten. Respondents numbered 50 children, research conducted on December 24 2018 - January 30 2019 by two counselors from two universities in Banten. Data analysis is done by reviewing all primary data and forming interpretation data or propositions in the form of meaning. The findings of the research are survivors conducting traumatic counseling in children consisting of 4 stages, namely (1) physical health examination; (2) counseling using the traumatic healing method; (3) play therapy; (4) psychological assistance in the form of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) therapy. This research can provide recommendations to researchers in the future, especially those relating to the psychological handling of victims of natural disasters. This research is recommended to all survivors, volunteers, and counselors who are concerned with handling post-disaster trauma victims, not only for the tsunami disaster.

Abstract

The research objective is to describe the introduction of Hijaiyah letters through the Tilawati method; Supporting and inhibiting factors in the introduction of Hijaiyah letters through the Tilawati method for students aged 5-6 years at the Rumah Qur'an Al-Qadr, Serang city. This research approach is descriptive qualitative, the research subjects are institution managers, teachers, students, and student guardians. Data collection techniques are using observation, interviews, documentation, and triangulation. Data are analyzed through reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of the study (1) the introduction of hijaiyah letters in the Rumah Qur'an Al-Qadr is in accordance with the learning steps contained in the Tilawati method learning guide using the following techniques: teacher reading-students listening; teacher reading-students imitating; teacher and students both reading; and individually reading and listening using tilawati books; (2) Supporting factors: all the teachers prayed tilawati; complete media; conducive learning environment; high morale of students and teachers; the right curriculum; establishing teacher and parent communication. As for the inhibiting factor: there are still some parents who don't care; some students rarely join the class of learning Qur'an or arrive lately; the student is too tired of doing activities outside; change of teachers in the middle of the semester; inadequate vehicle parking.
