Abstract

Penelitian dilatar belakangi kurangnya media pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran pemeliharaan kelistrikan kendaraan ringan di SMK Negeri 1 Bukittinggi. Tujuan penelitian merancang media pembelajaran berupa simulator sistem pengisian IC Regulator yang digunakan oleh guru dan siswa dalam proses belajar. Penelitian ini memakai metode penelitian dan pengembangan model (4-D). Hasil Penelitian dilihat dari hasil uji validitas dan pratikalitas yang diperoleh dari ahli dan responden. Berdasarkan hasil uji validitas dari ahli media tingkat pencapaian skor sebesar 93% pada kategori “sangat valid. Ahli materi 91% pada kategori “sangat valid. Hasil uji praktikalitas oleh guru didapatkan tingkat pencapaian skor 94% pada kategori “sangat praktis” dan dari siswa 88% pada kategori “praktis”. Disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran simulator sistem pengisian IC Regulator yang telah dibuat pada kategori sangat valid dan praktis. This research was motivated by the lack of learning media on the subject of light vehicle electrical maintenance at SMK Negeri 1 Bukittinggi. The aim of the research is to design learning media in the form of an IC Regulator charging system simulator that is used by teachers and students in the learning process. This research uses research and model development methods (4-D). The research results were seen from the results of validity and practicality tests obtained from experts and respondents. Based on the results of media expert validity tests, the score achievement level was 93% in the "very valid" category. Material experts 91% in the "very valid" category. The results of the practicality test carried out by the teacher showed an achievement level of 94% in the "very practical" category and 88% of students in the "practical" category. It was concluded that the IC Regulator charging system simulator learning media that had been created was in the very valid and practical category.
