Abstract

Percobaan dilaksanakan di persemaian kelompok tani penghijauan Mulia Jaya Desa Sukadana, kecamatan Pabuaran Kabupaten Cirebon. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh interaksi antara konsentrasi mikroorganisme efektif (EM4) dan takaran kompos terhadap pertumbuhan bibit mahoni. Percobaan ini menggunakan rancangan Acak Kelompok Pola faktorial terdiri dari dua faktor perlakuan yaitu faktor Mikroorganisme Efektif (EM4) dan kompos dan diulang tiga kali. Faktor pertama konsentrasi EM4 (M) terdiri tiga taraf yaitu m1 (20 ml EM4/l air), m2 (30 ml EM4/l air), dan m3 (40 ml EM4/ l air), faktor kedua yaitu takaran kompos (K) terdiri dari tiga traf yaitu k1 (200 gram/polibag), k2 (300 gram/polibag) dan k3 (400 gram/polibag). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara konsentrasi EM4 dan takaran kompos terhadap bobot segar bibit mahoni. Secara mandiri konsentrasi EM4 dan takaran kompos berpengaruh terhadap tinggi bibit, jumlah daun dan diameter batang bibit mahoni. Konsentrasi EM4 30 ml/ l air dengan takaran kompos 300 gram/polibag memberikan pengaruh terbaik terhadap bobot segar bibit mahoni yaitu 1.10 kg.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk NPK dan pupuk kandang terhadap mutu hasil buah jambu biji merah kultivar Getas pada musim kemarau. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode Rancangan Acak kelompok dengan dua perlakuan dan tiga ulangan. Perlakuan pertama adalah pemberian dosis pupuk kandang (10 kg/pohon, 20 kg/pohon dan 30 kg/pohon) dan perlakuan kedua adalah pemberian pupuk NPK (tanpa NPK, NPK 150 g/pohon dan NPK 300 g/pohon). Peubah yang diamati meliputi kadar air tanah, kadar air buah, Padatan Total Terlarut (PTT) dan kandungan vitamin C. Hasil analisis pada menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk kandang dan pupuk NPK tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap semua peubah yang diamati. Hal tersebut diduga karena tidak adanya hujan yang turun selama periode penelitian, sehingga fungsi air sebagai pelarut hara dan membantu dalam proses dekomposisi bahan organik menjadi tidak efektif.Kata kunci : jambu biji merah, kadar air buah, padatan total terlarut

Abstract

Pajambon village is a village center for the cultivation of guava in the district of Kuningan. The cultivation techniques and postharvest handling were not based on Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and Good Handling Practices (GHP) such as the application of fertilizer was less precise, sanitary land that was not optimal, pest control was less precise, and postharvest handling were not done well. Yet the implementation of SOP and GHP in guava cultivation techniques lead to optimal production and quality of the crop of guava was low. Farmers' knowledge regarding guava cultivation techniques and post-harvest handling needs to be improved. The method was used in this program include counseling, training and monitoring (assistance). Results of these programs i.e. farmers understand the techniques of cultivation and postharvest handling in accordance with the SOP and GHP, the guava fruit yield increase qualified grade A (≥250 g), as well as the decrease in the yield of fruit guava qualified grade C (149 g - 100 g).

Abstract

This research was aims to examine the effectiveness of application of liquid organic fertilizer Azzolla Microphylla and organic fertilizer takakura on the growth and yield of mustard greens (Brassica juncea. Azzola as a green manure can improve the chemical properties of the soil because it can meet the nitrogen needs of plants . Giving nitrogen to plants can accelerate plant growth , especially stems and leaves . The N content of Azolla liquid fertilizer can stimulate plant growth . Giving Azolla microphylls as a liquid organic fertilizer is more easily absorbed by plants so that plant growth can be optimal . In this study , observing the effect of applying liquid organic fertilizer Azolla microphylls on sweet mustard greens using Takakura organic compost media at the age of 21 , 28 , and 39 DAP with the observed variables being the number of leaves , leaf length and width and the variables observed after harvest . including weight of consumption and volume of roots . The results of this study showed that there was no significant effect of / on the application of liquid zols fertilizer and Takakura fertilizer on the number of leaves , length and width of the mustard greens (Brassica juncea ) at 21 , 28 , and 39 days after planting (HST ) between zols liquid fertilizer and Takakura fertilizer . The application of Azolla fertilizer and Takakura growing media had a significant effect on the consumption weight of mustard (Brassica juncea ) plants . It can be seen that the consumption weights of T3 , T3 , T1 and T4 have a high value compared to T0 or without fertilizer application .

Abstract

Bantaragung village, Sindangwangi sub-district, Majalengka district is one of tourist destination in West Java. This village was located near to Gunung Ciremai National Park. The purpose of application of eco-friendly farming in this village was to preserve the ecosystem around Bantaragung village and Gunung Ciremai National Park. The effort to begin eco-friendly farming in Bantaragung village by investigate the interest of people about eco-friendly farming by using questionnaire, training to make organic fertilizer from rice straw, make a pilot field of organic farming, and focus group discussion (FGD) to discuss with the farmer about the next plan in applying eco-friendly farming in this village. The result of these extension activities was the interest of farmer to using organic fertilizer increased. The growth and yield of rice in pilot field was decreased due to infertile soil and the nutrient from organic fertilizer was still unavailable to plant. It was the common thing because in applying organic farming, the yield was decreased in the first planting season. The next plans of this extension was to apply rice straw-the wastes from previous planting to the soil in order to restore the nutrient that had been absorbed by plant.

Abstract

Environmental preservation activities can be started by households . The most common sources of waste are from household settlements , the composition is 75% consisting of organic waste and only 25% inorganic waste. The accumulation of garbage in TPS (Temporary Shelters ) creates an unpleasant sight and creates an unpleasant odor . Efforts to minimize the accumulation of waste is to separate organic waste and inorganic waste . Organic waste can be processed by the composting method of solid fertilizer or liquid fertilizer . In addition to the composting method , organic waste can be made eco enzyme . Eco enzyme is a solution to complex organic substances produced from the fermentation process of organic waste , sugar , and water . The implementation of this service activity is carried out by training in waste management through the manufacture of eco-enzymes for the Rukun Lestari Women Farmer Group , East Palimanan Village , Prapatan Block RT 13/ RW 05 Palimanan District , Cirebon Regency . The participants of the activity were very enthusiastic about the activities carried out because of the many benefits that can be obtained with the presence of eco enzymes , including as liquid organic fertilizer , organic pesticides, bathroom cleaners , hand sanitizers , and floor cleaners .

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the combined concentration of shallot extract and cutting material on growth of jasmine (Jasminum sambac. L). This research was carried out in the village of Cilengkrang Girang, Pasaleman District, Cirebon Regency. In April to July 2021. The method in this research is the experimental method with non factorial completely randomized design. The treatment consisted of combination of cutting materials and shallot extract concentration. (A)= top stam cutting + concentration of 50%, (B) = middle stam cutting + concentration of 50%, (C)= bottom stam cutting + concentration of 50%, (D)= top stam cutting + concentration of 75%, (E)= middle stam cutting + concentration of 75%, (F)= bottom stam cutting + concentration of 75%, (G)= top stam cutting + concentration of 100%, (H)= middle stam cutting + concentration of 100%, (I)= bottom stam cutting + concentration of 100%. There were 9 treatment combinations repeated 3 times each, so there were 27 experimental unit treatments. The result show that the concentration of shallot extract and cutting material had no significant effect on growth of jasmine (Jasminum sambac. L) cultivar Bandar Arum.

Abstract

          Cirebon mengalami persoalan darurat sampah. Sampah paling banyak dihasilkan dari rumah tangga, pasar tradisional dan tempat-tempat umum. Hingga kini pemerintah kota cirebon berusaha menangangi persoalan ini. Namun persoalan sampah seharusnya menjadi tanggung jawab sipembuat sampah. Paling mudahnya dengan mengedukasi masyarakat agar mampu menyelesaikan persoalan sampah dimulai dari  rumah masing-masih. Dari permasalahan tersebut kami melakukan kegiatan pengabdian ini dengan tujuan untuk membantu  masyarakat agar dapat mengelola sampah rumah tangga dengan baik dan benar menggunakan suatu metode yang praktis yaitu dengan metode Takakura. Keranjang Takakura ini memiliki keunggulan diantaranya lebih praktis karena sangat cocok untuk perumahan dengan lahan yang tidak begitu lebar serta keranjang dapat ditempatkan di mana saja sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan ketersediaan lahan. Hasil dari kegiatan i ni menunjukan bahwa ibu-ibu PKK mampu membuat keranjang Takakura dapat diaplikasikan untuk pengolahan sampah organik disekitar rumah tinggalnya.

Abstract

The purpose of the research was to determine the effect of kasgot liquid organic fertilizer on the growth and consumption weight of kolesom leaves (Talinum triangulare [Jacq.] Willd). The experiment was conducted in Babakan Jawa Village, Majalengka District, Majalengka Regency, from August to October. The land used for research has a clay texture. Rainfall at the research location is included in type C, which is rather wet. The research method used was a Randomized Complete Design (RCD). The treatment consisted of one factor with four replications. The factor in this study is the concentration of kasgot liquid organic fertilizer which consists of six treatment levels, namely: K1 (control/no treatment), K2 (5 ml l-1), K3 (10 ml l-1), K4 (15 ml l-1), K5 (20 ml l-1), K6 (25 ml l-1) all treatment were repeated 4 replication. Variables observed were plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), stem diameter (mm), number of shoots per plant of upright leaves (strands), shoot weight per plant (g), total shoot weight (g). The results showed that the application of kasgot liquid organic fertilizer had a significant effect on the growth of kolesom plants, namely on the diameter of the stem at the age of 6 MSPT and the number of leaves at the age of 7 MSPT. The application of liquid organic fertilizer Kasgot K2 5 ml l-1 gave the best results on the diameter of the stem at the age of 6 MSPT and 5 20 ml l-1 gave the best results on the number of leaves at the age of 7 MSPT.
