Abstract

To overcome the lack of effectiveness and efficiency in the delivery of teaching materials by teachers. the teacher as an educator must always improve the quality of his professionalism by providing learning opportunities to students by involving students effectively in the learning process. In this study, the method used is an experimental method regarding the application of problem based learning in narrating interview texts for Class VII MTs students. Plus Darul Hufadz. The experiment in question is pre-experimental because in this study only one sample or no comparison sample was used. This PBL-based research concluded that the pretest showed various categories, namely 0% or none of the students were in the poor category, 17 or 77% of the students were in the sufficient category, and 5 or 23% of the students were in the good category. at the posttest or after being given treatment in the form of the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model showed a significant increase, namely students who were in the good category after being given treatment. There are 16 or 73% of students in the good category and 6 or 27% of students in the sufficient category. Learning to narrate interview texts through the Problem Based Learning learning model is proven to be able to improve students' abilities. it can be seen that there is a significant difference between the ability to narrate the interview text before and after the application of the PBL method to students.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the use of media images in teaching Indonesian storytelling for class III elementary school students and improve students' storytelling skills. In this study, the theory of Djunaidi & Fauzan (2012) was used. This study uses a qualitative method that is descriptive, this research will explain the facts and characteristics factually and carefully which will later be drawn conclusions. Participants in this study consisted of 25 students and 1 teacher. In this study, data were collected by observation, tests and interviews. The results of the study showed that learning using picture media was proven to be able to improve students' storytelling abilities in class III Indonesian language learning at SD Plus Babussalam. The increase in students' storytelling ability can be seen from the observation results which increased several points and the test results which experienced an increase. Apart from observations and tests, the results of the interviews also show that the use of media images can attract students' attention so that the ability to tell stories also increases.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the use of video media reading the beginning of topic 1, My Family, for elementary school students, in language learning content of recognizing words of praise, invitation, apology, and thanks. This research and development are carried out through the Sugiyono development process, which consists of 10 steps, namely: potential problem phase, data collection phase, product design phase, design validation phase, design review phase, product trial phase, product verification phase, user trial phase, product release phase, and mass production phase (first video reading). The subjects in this study were grade I students of SD Ar-Rahman Darul Ilmi. The assessment results of the media, material and language analysis aides reached an overall figure of 92.4% meaning that the first reading video developed falls under the criteria of "very valid". The results of the student survey showed a percentage of 90.99% which indicates that the pre-read videos developed fall under the criteria of "very practical". The results of the student survey showed a percentage of 90.99%, which indicates that the pre-read videos developed fall under the criteria of "very practical". The results of the student's learning due diligence reached an average of 90.8%, indicating that the developed introductory reading video falls under the "very effective" criteria. It is makes possible to use read-aloud video development during learning.

Abstract

Currently grade 1 students sometimes feel lazy in understanding learning material and writing. According to the researchers, this is because students at this age have not been confronted directly with things that are real or contextual. Moreover, seeing the characteristics of grade 1 elementary school children is concrete operational, that is, they must be confronted with something real. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of visual media on students' motivation in the material "Knowing the names of objects" at SD Plus Babussalam in the 2022/2023 school year. The research method used is quantitative description by conducting classroom action research. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, questionnaires and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the effect of visual media on the material of knowing the names of objects for grade 1 SD Plus Babussalam, 90% of students agree that learning using visual media greatly influences student learning motivation.

Abstract

This research investigates the role of emotion regulation skills on teacher professionalism. This study highlights the importance of emotion regulation skills for teachers in creating a positive learning environment, building strong relationships with students, and increasing teaching effectiveness. A lack of emotional regulation can undermine teachers' professionalism and the quality of their teaching. This research uses a qualitative literature study method on data relating to emotional regulation and teacher professionalism. Literature study is used as a research method in an effort to collect, analyze and synthesize findings and understanding that have been developed in scientific literature regarding the role of emotional regulation and teacher professionalism. The practical implications of these findings emphasize the need to support teachers in developing their emotion regulation skills to create a conducive learning environment and improve the overall quality of education.

Abstract

This research discusses teacher readiness in integrating innovative competencies in teaching and the role of openness to experience in this process. Teachers' innovative competence is crucial in improving the quality of education, while openness to experience plays an important role in facilitating creativity, willingness to experiment, awareness of change, and collaboration in a professional environment. Developing teachers' innovative competence does not only require an understanding of innovative learning techniques, but also requires the development of an adequate attitude of openness to experience. Proper support in increasing the level of openness to teachers' experiences can be key to improving the quality of teaching and learning in schools.
