Abstract

Elementary school students are in the stage of forming the mindset and learning habits of students. This period is the right time to develop metacognitive-skill because students begin to engage in more complex and varied tasks. This study uses a literature study on metacognitive development in elementary school students. Metacognitive skills provide students with the ability to understand how they learn, set learning strategies, and analyze and evaluate their understanding. Aspects of metacognitive development in students are self-regulation and reflective thinking-skill. Several studies have shown that metacognitive development can have a positive impact on academic motivation, learning motivation, and student independence. Learning models that can be used in developing metacognitive elementary school students are self-regulated learning-based learning, guided inquiry learning, and meaningful instruction design (MID) learning models.

Abstract

Profesionalisme guru diperlukan untuk pendidikan dan pembelajaran yang efektif. Kompetensi guru yang sesuai dengan tingkat pendidikan peserta didik dan sesuai dengan bidang kopetensi yang dibutuhkan peserta didik akan mewujudkan peran guru sebagai fasilitator yang tepat. Profesionalisme guru juga perlu dikembangkan serta disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan waktu dan tempat peserta didik agar guru memiliki kreativitas dalam penyajian pembelajaran serta berperan tidak hanya mentransfer ilmu melainkan juga memprediksi masa depan peserta didik di lingkungan masyarakat. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis kuantitatif melalui berbagai prosedur yang disederhakan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 70% guru sarjana pendidikan, 10% guru sarjana nonpendidikan, 20% lulusan SMA/sederajat. Sehingga diperlukan program pengembangan profesionalisme guru yang sesuai denagn tingkat pendidikan dasar.

Abstract

Extracurricular Alquran Reading and Writing activities are crucial as they help elementary school students understand moral and spiritual values. These activities contribute to the affective development of students by enhancing their motivation, discipline, and sense of responsibility through structured and meaningful learning. This study aims to analyze the impact of extracurricular Alquran Reading and Writing activities on the affective development of elementary school students. Using a qualitative approach with a literature review method, the study explores various relevant sources. The findings indicate that Alquran Reading and Writing activities have a significantly positive impact on students' affective aspects, including increased motivation, discipline, and spiritual attitudes. Support from teachers and family environments plays a vital role in the effectiveness of these activities. These findings highlight the importance of integrating religion-based extracurricular activities into the elementary school curriculum to support students' holistic affective development.

Abstract

This study explores the development of entrepreneurial skills in elementary school students through the Market Day program. Using a qualitative approach with a literature study method, this research analyzes various sources to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of the program. Market Day provides a platform for students to directly experience entrepreneurial activities, including planning, production, marketing, and sales. The findings show that Market Day significantly enhances students' understanding of business concepts and fosters their interest in entrepreneurship. Additionally, with the support of teachers and parents, students gain meaningful and relevant learning experiences, preparing them to face real-world challenges. This study emphasizes the importance of integrating practical programs like Market Day into the curriculum to develop entrepreneurial skills from an early age, helping students become more independent and innovative individuals in the future.
