Abstract

This research aims to develop an innovative learning media in the form of Cultural Diversity Digital Media Comics (Kodya) for the Pancasila Education subject in the fourth grade of Pleret Kidul Elementary School. In the needs analysis stage, initial observations indicated students' lack of engagement and boredom with learning, especially in Pancasila Education, due to limitations and the lack of attractiveness of learning resources. Digital comics were chosen as an alternative to enhance students' reading interest and enthusiasm. The design of the digital comics was tailored to the creative presentation of the material, focusing on the cultural diversity of Indonesia. The development stage involved feasibility testing by digital comic experts and subject matter experts, as well as limited trials with students. The implementation results showed a positive response from students to the digital comics, facilitating the learning process, sparking interest, and improving material understanding. Comprehensive evaluation indicated high validation from media and subject matter experts, as well as positive student responses with percentage scores ranging from 93.63% to 98.57%. In conclusion, Pancasila-concept-based digital comics are effective as a supplementary tool for Pancasila Education in elementary schools, contributing positively to students' understanding and interest in Pancasila values and Indonesian culture.
