Abstract

Human survival depends on the environment. However, the lack of human awareness in protecting the environment has caused a lot of destruction to occur. To increase human awareness and understanding, Pandawara uses TikTok social media to provide information as well as appeal to people to preserve the environment. This research aims to measure and analyze the effectiveness of TikTok social media content presented by the @PandawaGrup account as a campaign tool to increase public awareness and participation in efforts to clean the environment and the responses that occur therein. The researcher used a qualitative descriptive research method which was implemented by monitoring and analyzing the @pandawagrup account evenly. The results of this research are that the social media TikTok @pandawagrup as a campaign media in protecting the environment is considered to have a significant role because it is able to share advocacy information about the environment and there are positive impacts that emerge which can be seen from the large number of positive responses both in terms of the number of likes and good opinions in awareness of protecting the environment.

Abstract

Learning using text or conventional media makes it difficult for students to understand the material presented by the teaching staff. So now students use the YouTube application as a support in their learning activities. This research aims to find out more about the benefits of YouTube media for students and the use of YouTube social media as a place to share learning material. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach and this research uses data collection techniques including library research. The data used in this research is secondary data. The results of the research show that students who use YouTube as a mass communication medium make it very easy to find the information or knowledge they need and it is easier for students to understand the material contained in videos compared to material delivered directly by teachers or lecturers either online or face to face because of videos. on the YouTube application can be played back at any time to re-study the teaching material presented.

Abstract

This article presents an analysis of the latest trends in communication science in Indonesia, with a focus on the interaction between digital transformation and cultural dynamics. Through a multidimensional approach, we identify how digital technology has changed the communication landscape, influenced people’s communication practices, and triggered changes in communication culture in Indonesia. We also explore the implications of this phenomenon for various aspects of social, political and economic life in Indonesia. Thus, this article provides in-depth insight into how recent developments in communication science represent significant changes in the Indonesian context.

Abstract

Public service is a motivation for the public. The existence of a public service can be a control over arbitrariness in the hands of policy makers. Innovation in public services helps the government further upgrade the conditions of its territory. Law No. 25 of 2009 concerning Public Services is a breath of fresh air in efforts to provide good public services. This law mandates that public service is an activity or series of activities in order to fulfill service needs in accordance with statutory regulations for every citizen. Public service innovation cannot be separated from community participation. Public service innovation is also used in Bandung where co-creation methods are used to improve public services. This method is used by the Bandung Dukcapil Office. The application of co-creation is a new breakthrough in data openness and also the accuracy of data from the government

Abstract

The ability to speak in public is an important competency required by village officials in carrying out leadership duties, communicating with the community, and delivering village development programs. This service program aims to increase the capacity of village officials in Margaluyu Village, Serang City, through public speaking skills training. This training is designed with a practical approach which includes communication theory, persuasion techniques, and simulations of speaking in front of an audience. Through this training, village officials are expected to be able to communicate more effectively, increase self-confidence, and strengthen community participation in various village activities. The evaluation results showed that after the training, participants experienced improvements in communication skills, message preparation, and how to interact with residents. It is hoped that this program can become a model for improving the quality of human resources in other villages.

Abstract

Tourism is a rapidly growing industry globally and is currently a source of employment and livelihood for many people. Tourism development in the region as a development sector cannot be separated from the development of local communities and the construction of supporting facilities. One of the factors in the success of developing a tourist destination is communication. Through communication, opportunities for the popularity of a tourist destination will open up to become more widely known by the wider community. The world of tourism is a sector that can be relied on as a foreign exchange earner so it has a big opportunity to continue to be monitored and developed. This sector is increasingly sought after by the public because tertiary needs are related to the lifestyle patterns of modern society. The higher the economy, education and level of work routine, the greater the demand for travel. The communication revolution that accompanies the tourism industry can be aligned with utilizing promotional strategies through digital means for easy access to fulfill human tertiary needs. The service team targets tourism potential. Rural areas are a source of tourist attraction that utilizes the uniqueness of the region with its natural landscape and original culture. Rural tourism can have an organizational form in the form of a tourist village where all the attractions, amenities and institutions that oversee it come from the initiative of the residents themselves. Rural tourism is a form of memorial tourism, namely activities to remember the past even though in reality, rural tourism tends to divert tourist activities from their daily routine or a kind of escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life.
