Abstract

Degenerative diseases are chronic diseases that affect a person's quality of life and productivity. Degenerative diseases include hypertension, asthma, cancer, diabetes mellitus, osteoporosis, and so on. Indonesia's current health problems are influenced by lifestyle, work environment, and stress. The purpose of the study was to determine the differences in laboratory examination results of blood chemistry profiles (blood sugar, cholesterol, uric acid, creatinine, urea, and SGOT levels) at productive age in the Jambi City Health Center Working Area in 2022. The cross-sectional research method with the population is the community in Posbindu in the working area of 3 Puskesmas (KONI, Pakuan Baru, and Putri Ayu) with purposive sampling technique, where the research sample is the Posbindu group who are productive age (16-64 years) which amounted to 140 respondents. The data obtained were then analyzed by independent t-test. The results of laboratory examinations of blood chemistry profile levels, where each variable has high levels, namely 25% prediabetes blood sugar levels, and 10.7% diabetes. Cholesterol 30%, uric acid 20.7%, creatinine 4.3%, ureum 6.4% and SGOT 10%. Conclusion There is a significant difference between the average levels (blood sugar, cholesterol, creatinine, urea, and SGOT) in the productive age group with blood pressure. While uric acid levels have no significant difference because the pvalue> 0.05. Suggestions for the community, it is hoped that they can pay more attention to health conditions by routinely doing Medical check-ups to minimize the occurrence of degenerative diseases at a productive age.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between lipid profiles and the incidence of hypertension in the POSBINDU group at the Jambi City Health Center. The research method used in this research is observational analytics using a cross-sectional design involving 100 respondents who were randomly selected and met the sample requirements. This research was carried out from April to July 2023. Research data analysis used the chi-square test, where the statistical test results show a p-value < 0.05. The research results showed that of the 100 data samples, the most significant number of respondents based on gender were men (26.0% and women (74.0%). The results of the chi-square test showed that there was a relationship between cholesterol and triglyceride levels and the incidence of hypertension (p-value = 0.000). In contrast, BMI status, cholesterol levels, HDL levels, and LDL levels were not significant with the incidence of hypertension. The research conclusion was that the incidence of hypertension was related to triglyceride levels and not related to BMI status, cholesterol levels, HDL levels, and LDL levels. Abstract

This study aims to look at the risk factors for hypertension in adolescents. The method is observational analytical research using a cross-sectional design involving 63 respondents. The research results showed that the 63 teenagers willing to be respondents in this study were aged 14 - 18 years, with the majority being female. The research results showed that the gender variable was not related to the incidence of hypertension in adolescents (p = 0.245), as well as the sleep duration variable (p = 0.477), the BMI variable (p = 0.000), light exposure (p = 0.000) and total cholesterol levels. (p = 0.007) shows a relationship with the incidence of hypertension in adolescents. The research conclusion is that the incidence of hypertension in adolescents is related to BMI, light exposure, and total cholesterol levels. Keywords: Risk Factors, Hypertension, Adolescents
