Abstract

Algebra is a branch of mathematics that is abstract in form so that students do errors in solving problems of Algebra. The purpose of this research is to describe: (1) the errors form made by students in solving algebraic operation story problems based on the Newman stage, (2) the scaffolding form given to students who make errors in solving problems of algebraic form operations. This research is a qualitative descriptive with research subjects of 3 students of class VIII at MTs Unggulan Singa Putih. The results of the study state that: (1) the errors form on the reading step is students cannot read the problems by beheading or stopping correctly, on the comprehension step the students do not know the meaning of the problem, on the transformation step the students cannot modelling variables appropriately, on the process skill step the students unable to perform operation of algebraic forms appropriately, on the encoding step the students cannot answer correct conclusions, (2) the scaffolding forms given to students is students are requested to recheck or reread the results of their work, students are given questions that lead students to think more about the problem, and give praise to motivate students to improve their work.

Abstract

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research aims to analyze the role of the digital economy and financial inclusion in accelerating Indonesia's national economic recovery. With increased funding allocations for economic recovery, the Indonesian government is facing fiscal challenges, including diverting budget from the health sector. This research uses a qualitative research design with a literature review method to evaluate national economic recovery strategies. The focus of this research is on start-up companies and individuals with digital funding accounts. The research results show that a digital economic ecosystem supported by better financial inclusion can accelerate the process of national economic recovery. These findings emphasize the importance of developing integrated management strategies to support small and medium enterprises and expand access to digital financial services.

Abstract

This research examines the distribution of cognitive abilities within the interactive mathematics textbook designed for 10th-grade students. The study recognizes the significance of mathematics education in nurturing students' cognitive skills. However, it also acknowledges the presence of ineffective methods that impede students' grasp of concepts and their capacity to solve problems. Employing a qualitative research approach, the study identifies and resolves questions in the interactive mathematics book. It explains each cognitive skill used to solve these questions and categorizes these skills according to Bloom's taxonomy. The findings reveal an uneven allocation of cognitive skills in both chapters. Questions falling under the application category (C3) are predominant, while those demanding higher-order thinking, such as creation (C6), are limited in number. This lack of diversity and balance underscores the necessity for incorporating a broader array of questions spanning various cognitive levels. The interactive mathematics book for 10th-grade students enhances comprehension and reinforces core principles. Nevertheless, it necessitates refinement in cognitive skill distribution, especially by including more questions that require advanced thinking. Rectifying this disparity would empower the book to foster students' critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of understanding the contribution of Syekh Nawawi's thoughts in developing Islamic education in Indonesia. Syekh Nawawi, a great cleric from Banten, has significantly contributed to science, Aqidah and History. This research aims to identify and analyze research trends related to Syekh Nawawi's educational philosophy and dig deeper into the relevance of his thinking in the context of learning science and Aqidah and Banten history. The problem raised is the lack of in-depth understanding of the application of Sheikh Nawawi's thoughts in modern education. This research uses bibliometric methods with VOSviewer software to identify research trends from 2004 to 2024 and a systematic literature review (SLR) using the PRISMA technique with data from the Scopus database. Keywords used include "Sheikh Nawawi," "educational philosophy," "science learning," "Aqidah," and "Banten history." Significant findings show that Sheikh Nawawi's thoughts remain relevant and can be integrated into the current educational curriculum. Trend analysis reveals increasing interest in the study of Sheikh Nawawi's thoughts. This study differs from previous studies because it uses a more comprehensive methodological approach and in-depth bibliometric analysis. It is hoped that the research results can become an essential reference in developing learning modules that focus not only on cognitive aspects but also on spiritual and historical aspects, especially in the educational context in Banten.
