Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar produktivitas kakao dan faktor-faktor apa saja yang berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas kakao di Kecamatan Pakue Tengah Kabupaten Kolaka Utara. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sejak bulan November tahun 2023 sampai bulan Januari tahun 2024 di Kecamatan Pakue Tengah Kabupaten Kolaka Utara. Penentuan responden menggunakan metode Slovin. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear beganda. Dari hasil penelitian nilai produktivitas kakao di Kecamatan Pakue Tengah Kabupaten Kolaka Utara sebesar 628,03 Kg/ha pertahunnya. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0,711, hal ini diartikan bahwa pengaruh variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen sebesar 71,1% yang diteliti oleh peneliti, sedangkan sisanya 28,9% dipengaruh oleh variabel lain diluar parameter penelitian. Hasil uji-F menunjukkan bahwa secara bersama-sama jumlah pohon berproduksi (X1), pupuk (X2), pestisida (X3) dan tenaga kerja (X4) berpengaruh secara nyata terhadap produktivitas kakao. Hasil uji-T menjelaskan bahwa secara parsial variabel independen (jumlah pohon berproduksi, pupuk, pestisida dan tenaga kerja) berpengaruh secara nyata terhadap variabel dependen (produktivitas).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of women farmers in white copra farming in Lameo-Meong Village, West Poleang District. This study uses a qualitative approach where the research data is analysed descriptively and qualitatively. The results of the discussion show that women farmers in white copra farming activities in Lameo-Meong Village, West Poleang District are in the high category because, in addition to taking care of household chores which are the responsibility of a mother, women also play a role (helping husbands) in the process of white copra farming such as splitting coconuts, gouging out coconuts, melting coconuts, drying coconuts and closing the drying of white copra. Not only helping to increase the productivity of the agricultural sector but also generating added economic value for the local community. The active participation of women farmers has a positive impact on increasing social and economic welfare in rural areas. The role of women in copra farming is vital and must always be supported by all parties so that the development of this industry will progress and develop rapidly.

Abstract

Developing a person's character and entrepreneurship is very important, because interest always stimulates concentration of thought, creates joy in entrepreneurship and increases a person's entrepreneurial abilities. The aim of this activity is to promote entrepreneurial characteristics and culture and improve the skills of Bajo youth in the exploitation of the natural resources of their environment to turn them into goods with high use value and greater economic value. . This activity was carried out using the method of direct presentation of the material and continued with direct discussion and practice of making the products. The result of this activity is that the youth of the Bajo tribe already have an entrepreneurial spirit and are capable of exploiting the natural resources of their environment, as evidenced by their ability to produce processed fish food products. The objective of this activity was achieved, namely the formation of qualities and entrepreneurship among Bajo youth, as well as the skills of Bajo youth to use the resources of their environment in high value goods. use and higher economic value.
