Abstract

In the rapidly advancing world of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), various industries have recognized and started to harness technology's transformative power, especially when it comes to data management and processing. One significant component of this technological evolution is Enterprise Architecture (EA). This offers a structured framework for integrating vast amounts of data across large-scale systems. However, an area that remains somewhat untapped is the application of EA within the educational sector, which presents its own unique set of ICT challenges. This research seeks to address and bridge this knowledge gap. It takes an in-depth look at how EA, utilizing the TOGAF ADM framework, can be implemented in educational settings. Through a series of structured interviews conducted at SMA St. Bellarminus, the research aims to tailor the institution's information systems architecture to its specific and nuanced needs. While there have been previous studies that touched upon organizational systems and structures, our research distinguishes itself by modifying and adapting the TOGAF ADM approach to cater explicitly to educational environments. As the digital realm continues to expand and evolve, it's imperative for educational institutions to have the tools and methodologies in place to stay relevant and efficient in this ever-changing landscape.

Abstract

Objective –To measuring and knowing the level of capability, the value of gaps, and recommendations forimprovement for SIERA information system performance using the framework COBIT 5 based on the processAPO08 Manage Relationship and BAI07 Manage Change Acceptance and Transitioning.Methodology –This research uses a qualitative method and a quantitative method called the mix method. Thequalitative method is used to analyze the level of capability expected from the application of the SIERA informationsystem based on the results of interview answers. In contrast, the quantitative method is used to analyze the level ofcapability that has been achieved so far based on the results of a questionnaire that has been filled out by fourrespondents determined by a convenient sampling technique.Findings – The research found the results that the APO08 domain stopped at level 2, and the domain BAI07 stoppedat desired level 1, so corrective actions need to be taken to reach the level expected level 4.Novelty – By measuring the performance evaluation of the SIERA system, the Regional Asset Management Agencyof DKI Jakarta Province can determine the level of capability that has been achieved and the value of the gap withthe expected level of capability, and assisting the Regional Asset Management Agency of the DKI Jakarta ProvincialGovernment to take corrective actions based on recommendations from the findings in SIERA.Keywords: APO08 Manage Relationship, BAI07 Manage Change Acceptance and Transitioning, COBIT 5, DKIJakarta Regional Asset Management Agency

Abstract

Learning Management System (LMS) has become one of the media used to support online teaching learning activities. LMS has a wide range of functions such as administration, documentation, and reporting. The condition of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 has caused SD Strada Karawaci to find a way to keep providing school supplies to the students. The Information Systems Study Program – Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (IS-UMN) has a strong commitment to make a positive contribution to the community, one of which is through community service activities (PKM). IS- UMN organizes PKM activities with one of its goals to improve literacy of information technology of the community. In general, the activities of PKM IS-UMN are divided into two stages: system development and training. Therefore, in the first phase of the activities of PKM IS-UMN will design an e-learning system for elementary school of Strada Karawaci. The PKM team conducted in-depth research to understand the user needs (requirements) and conducted interviews with teachers and students. In addition, the development phase of the e-learning system is also carried out with consideration of the curriculum and school learning methods.

Abstract

This study addresses the urgent need for robust data security by evaluating the Information Security Management System (ISMS) of a private contractor poised for ISO 27001 certification. It introduces the context of pervasive data breaches that necessitate stringent security measures. Employing a mixed-methods approach, the research method combines the KAMI index for quantitative maturity assessment with qualitative insights from staff interviews and literature reviews. The results reveal the contractor's ISMS maturity at levels I+ to II, indicating a shortfall in meeting the ISO 27001 benchmark. The discussion highlights the efficacy of the PDCA cycle in ISMS implementation, but also underscores the imperative for enhancements to fulfill certification requirements.

Abstract

The manufacturing industry is a cornerstone of Indonesia's economy, contributing significantly to the nation's GDP and exhibiting consistent growth. The sector's advancement is closely linked with technological innovations, particularly those associated with Industry 4.0, which integrates advanced technologies into production processes. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems play a pivotal role among these technologies. However, maximizing the potential of ERP systems necessitates robust IT governance, which can be assessed using the COBIT 2019 framework. This research targets the Cardboard Manufacturing Industry, which has not previously undergone an IT governance assessment, primarily due to the lack of a dedicated IT division. The study evaluates the current state of IT governance within the industry, focusing on specific objectives, including APO12 (Manage Risk), BAI09 (Manage Assets), APO14 (Manage Data), and EDM05 (Ensure Stakeholder Engagement). The methodology involves a comprehensive evaluation using the COBIT 2019 framework to identify gaps between the current and desired capability levels. The findings reveal significant discrepancies in IT governance maturity, highlighting improvement areas. Consequently, the study proposes recommendations to bridge these gaps, enhancing overall IT governance. Suggestions for developing customized ERP modules are further provided to support the industry's technological integration and efficiency.
