Abstract

Cattle farming in Padang Baru Village plays a vital role in empowering the local economy, especially in the livestock sector which is one of the sectors with the largest population on Bangka Island. However, the limitations of the local community in being able to utilize the potential of resources have caused the progress of cattle sales to be less than optimal. The purpose of this Community Service is to improve the knowledge and skills of cattle farming entrepreneurs through business management strategies, namely marketing strategies and digital content design. The implementation of activities uses the method of socialization and direct practice to cattle technology actors, cattle businesses, related stakeholders, and local community leaders. The results of the community service showed that participants were enthusiastic about asking questions and gaining new knowledge on how to implement programs to market cattle and provide a touch of digital product content that attracts consumer interest. It is hoped that the community empowerment approach in the cattle business management strategy, will create a multiplication effect in the local economy and maximum economic growth.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menyelidiki inovasi pemasaran digital yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kehadiran pasar dan kinerja bisnis usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) yang terlibat dalam pemasaran digital produk madu di Kabupaten Belitung Timur. Wawancara yang dilakukan dengan produsen madu lokal, yakni menganalisis praktik dan strategi pemasaran digital yang ada, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi peluang utama untuk inovasi yang berfokus pada pengembangan strategi pemasaran digital praktis, termasuk penggunaan platform media sosial dan platform e-commerce melalui tinjauan literatur. Hasil yang didapat bahwa adanya peningkatan visibilitas online, keterlibatan konsumen yang lebih besar, dan peningkatan penjualan bagi produsen madu. Adapun, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan rekomendasi yang dapat ditindaklanjuti sesuai dengan kebutuhan unik produsen madu UMKM, yang pada akhirnya mendukung transformasi digital dan pertumbuhan bisnis lokal di Kabupaten Belitung Timur.

Abstract

Technology and innovation are the keys used to unlock the impossible imagination to become possible to achieve the unforeseen goals of individuals and organizations. This study focuses on the role of an unprecedented phenomenon called central bank digital currency (CBDC) over physical currency. This study uses a descriptive research method with a quantitative approach. This study is a literature review study aimed at describing the phenomenon. This study assesses the role of CBDC based on three parameters such as features, perceived benefits and challenges of CBDC and Physical Currency. It also reveals that CBDC can replace the use of physical currency only depending on how people, businesses perceive the features, benefits (better allocation, accessibility, interest bearing, convertibility and reduced costs) and possible challenges (opposite of benefits) associated with CBDC compared to its counterpart.
