Abstract

This study investigates the role of the Tahdzibul Fuad Al-Qur’an Education Park (TPA) in shaping the moral character of children in Kemlokolegi Village. Recognizing the crucial importance of instilling moral values during early childhood, the research focuses on the effectiveness of TPA as a non-formal educational institution. The study employs a qualitative methodology, utilizing observations, interviews, and document analysis to explore the impact of TPA’s curriculum on the behavioral and moral development of its students. The findings reveal that the TPA significantly contributes to the moral formation of children by integrating Islamic teachings with practical moral education. This includes not only religious instruction on the Qur'an, faith, and Islamic history but also active engagement in community-based moral activities. The research highlights the transformation in children's behavior as they internalize and practice the values taught at the TPA. It also identifies the strategies employed by TPA educators to reinforce these values, such as moral storytelling, role modeling, and positive reinforcement. The study concludes that TPA plays an essential role in fostering ethical and moral values in children, thus contributing to the broader goal of character education in the community.
