Abstract

ABSTRACT: Results of the study on community midwifery practice acquired several factors causing dissatisfaction. This dissatisfaction could be due to the poor quality of practice performed by students. This condition will affect the success of a community midwifery practices implemented. Thus, research needs to identify the dimensions of quality practices that may increase the success of midwifery practice community. This analytical research using cross sectional method by using stratified random sampling, conducted in April to May 2013 to 92 pregnant women and mothers of infant/toddlers who participated in the counseling and health screenings by students at community midwifery practice. Variable on the quality of student practice and benefits practices were measured using questionnaires. The statistical test used were the Pearson Test, the Multiple Linear Regression Test, and the most influential factor analyzed using path analysis. The results show that quality of student practice related to success of community midwifery practice (r = 0.616, p < 0.001). The most influential dimensions of quality that is empathy, assurance, and subject age as a confounding variable (p value < 0.001); and effect of combined was 33.7% (p < 0.001). Finally, the quality of student practices associated with successful community midwifery practice, the most influential dimensions are empathy and assurance.KEY WORD: Quality, service, community, midwifery, practices, dissatisfaction, students, counseling and health screening, empathy, and assurance. RESUME: “Hubungan antara Kualitas Praktek Mahasiswa dengan Keberhasilan Praktek Kebidanan Komunitas”. Hasil penelitian pada praktek kebidanan komunitas mengakuisisi beberapa faktor penyebab ketidakpuasan. Ketidakpuasan ini bisa disebabkan oleh buruknya kualitas praktek yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa. Kondisi ini akan mempengaruhi keberhasilan suatu praktek kebidanan komunitas ketika dilaksanakan. Dengan demikian, penelitian perlu mengidentifikasi dimensi praktek berkualitas yang dapat meningkatkan keberhasilan komunitas praktek kebidanan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analitik bagian silang dengan menggunakan sampel random bertingkat, dilakukan pada April-Mei 2013 terhadap 92 wanita hamil dan ibu bayi/balita (dibawah lima tahun) yang berpartisipasi dalam konseling dan pemeriksaan kesehatan oleh mahasiswa dalam praktik kebidanan komunitas. Variabel tentang kualitas praktek mahasiswa dan manfaat praktek diukur dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah uji Pearson, Tes Regresi Linier Pelbagai, dan faktor yang paling berpengaruh dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas praktek mahasiswa berkaitan dengan keberhasilan mahasiswa dalam praktek kebidanan komunitas (r = 0.616, p < 0.001). Dimensi yang paling berpengaruh dari kualitas itu yakni empati, jaminan, dan usia subjek sebagai variabel penyela (p value < 0.001); dan efek gabungan semuanya adalah 33.7% (p < 0.001). The development of a toddler is influencing by giving stimulate. According to Ministry of Health Republic of Indonesia in 2013, 16% toddler in Indonesia run into developmental disorder. Mother’s active role is very influencing children development. Its needed effort to increase mother ability who have a toddler so they can fulfill balance stimulate according to the toddler stage. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the use of flyer stimulation for mother skills in stimulating toodler development. This study was using a queasy experiment method with pre and post-test with a controlling group. The subject was a mother who has the toddler in the working area of Gang Kelor Primary Health Center Bogor. The intervention that was given by using development stimulatory flyer for intervention group, and using Mother and Child Health (MCH) book for control group. The sample was 30 respondents for each group which fulfill inclusion criteria. This study starts from June to Oktober 2017. Variable was measured by observation list. Data was analyzed by the Wilcoxon test. The result shows that there was significant difference in the mother’s knowledge in the pre-test and post-test for giving stimulating using flyer (Mean difference= 27.70) and stimulating using MCH book (Mean difference= 7.47). Flyer development stimulation was more effective to increase a mother’s skill to stimulate toddler development at age 1-3 years than using MCH book (p-value <0.005) The flyers was effective in improving mother skills in stimulating toodler.

Abstract

Abstrak Berdasarkan Profil Kesehatan Jawa Barat pada tahun 2012, diketahui di Kabupaten Bogor sebanyak 23 orang ibu postpartum meninggal, padahal sudah sebanyak 87,4% ibu yang mendapatkan pelayanan postpartum oleh tenaga kesehatan. Kondisi ini salah satunya dapat terjadi akibat komplikasi postpartum karena kurangnya pengetahuan ibu tentang perawatan diri pada masa postpartum. Padahal bidan harus dapat memberikan pendidikan kesehatan secara supportif-edukatif yang adekuat serta dukungan terhadap ibu postpartum, sehingga ibu merasa mampu merawat dirinyadan mencegah terjadinya masalah kesehatan pada masa postpartum. Kemandirian masa postpartum, dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal yang terdiri dari faktor fisik dan psikis, dan faktor lingkungan (eksternal) yang terdiri dari faktor linfkungan fisik, sosial budaya, ekonomi, dan lain sebagainya. Menurut Bloom faktor lingkungan mempengaruhi perilaku seseorang sampai dengan 45%. Salah satu faktor lingkungan yang cukup dominan pada ibu postpartum di Desa Babakan, Ciseseng, Kabupaten Bogor adalah pendampingan dukun bayi dan adat kebudayaan selama masa postpartum. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional, dengan subjek penelitian ibu postpartum dini di Desa Babakan, Ciseeng, Kabuten Bogor. Lokasi tersebut dipilih karena di daerah tersebut, ketergantungan ibu postpartum terhadap dukun bayi dalam perawatan masa postpartum masih cukup tinggi. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Maret-Oktober 2018 terhadap 92 responden yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Variabel dependent dalam penelitian yaitu kemandirian perawatan diri ibu selama masa postpartum dini. Sedangkan variabel independentnya adalah faktor lingkungan yang terdiri dari variabel pendampingan dukun bayi dan kebudayaan/ adat selama masa postpartum. Variabel diukur dengan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan uji koefisien kontigensi lamda. Hasil: terdapat terdapat hubungan pendampingan dukun bayi terhadap kemandirian dan perawatan diri ibu selama masa postpartum dini, terdapat hubungan budaya terhadap kemandirian dan perawatan diri ibu selama masa postpartum dini. Paritas, pendidikan, dan pekerjaan merupakan perancu yang berhubungan dengan perawatan diri ibu selama masa postpartum dini. Penghasilan dan pendidikan merupakan perancu yang berhubungan dengan kemandirian ibu selama masa postpartum dini. Saran: perlu adanya paket pemberdayaan ibu postpartum untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kemandirian dan juga perawatan diri yang baik bagi ibu postpartum dini. Kata Kunci: Postpartum, perawatan diri, kemandirian, budaya Abstract As many as 23 postpartum mothers died in Bogor District, even though 87.4% of mothers had received postpartum services by health workers. One of these conditions can occur due to postpartum complications due to a lack of maternal knowledge about self-care during the postpartum period. Midwives must be able to provide adequate supportive-educative health education as well as support for postpartum mothers, so mothers be able to care for themselves and prevent health problems during the postpartum period. The independence of the postpartum period is influenced by internal factors consisting of physical and psychological factors, and environmental factors (external) consisting of physical, socio-cultural, economic, and so on. According to Bloom environmental factors affect a person's behavior up to 45%. One of the dominant environmental factors in postpartum mothers in Babakan Village, Ciseseng, Bogor District is the assistance of traditional birth attendants and cultural customs during the postpartum period. This study was an observational study with a cross-sectional approach, with the subject of early postpartum maternal research in Babakan Village, Ciseeng, Bogor District. The location was chosen because, in the area, the dependence of postpartum mothers on TBAs in postpartum care was high. The study was conducted in August-October 2018 of 92 respondents who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The dependent variable in the study is the independence of maternal self-care during the early postpartum period. Whereas the independent variable is an environmental factor consisting of the variables of assistance for traditional birth attendants and culture during the postpartum period. Variables are measured by questionnaire. Data analysis used the Lamda contingency coefficient test. Results: there is a relationship between the dukun's assistance to the independence and self-care of the mother during the early postpartum period, there is a cultural relationship to the independence and self-care of the mother during the early postpartum period. Parity, education, and employment are confounders related to maternal self-care during the early postpartum period. Income and education are confounders related to maternal independence during the early postpartum. Suggestion: there is a need for a postpartum maternal empowerment package to increase maternal knowledge, increase independence and good self-care for early postpartum mothers. Abstract

Case of early marriage still occur in many parts of the world and become a concern to the international community because of the high risk complications during pregnancy, labour at a young age, that  increasing maternal and infant mortality rates.  Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey in 2012 showed 12.8% of women ages 15-19 were married. The social phenomenon of getting pregnant before getting married is now increasing in Bogor. In 2013 there were 1,626 couples are early matrimony because of pregnancy  with an age range of 16-19 years and 8,130 matrimony which 20 percent matrimony at age 19-20 years. This young couple is still at school age. The average age for males is under 19 years and for females under 16 and 17 years. One of effort that can be done to help teenagers solve these problems is through reproductive health education which is usually called counseling learning methods that are more appropriate  with the discussion method to get conclusion and not be rigid when give counseling. Based on study, the proactive cognitive game method is one of the effective learning methods to increase teenager knowledge in reproductive health education. This study aims is determine the effect of health education with proactive cognitive game methods to knowledge and attitudes of teenagers about the high risk of early matrimony.  Design of this study is Quasi experimental pre-post test design with control group with the intervention using proactive cognitive game method. Sampling technique use purposive sampling. The inclusion criteria in this study were teenagers aged 15-19 years, students of class XI-XII, willing to be respondents. Variables were measured with knowledge and attitude questionnaire. Data analyze using the Mann Whitney test. Data was collected in August 2018. Results in intervention group , there was a change in the mean of knowledge by 4 points, from 24.53 at the pre-test to 28.28. Whereas in the control group the change in value occurred only 1 point from 20.50 to 21.73 at post test value. There is an effect of providing health education through proactive cognitive games to teenager knowledge about the impact of early matrimony with p value  <0.05. Suggestion: it is necessary to increase the use of interactive and interesting methods in providing health education with the target is teenager so that expected results can be achieved efficiently.

Abstract

Salah satu usaha untuk meningkatkan produksi ASI adalah dengan menjaga kesehatan dan kebugaran ibu secara fisik maupun psikis. Salah satu caranya adalah dengan terapi komplementer spa, yang prinsipnya memberikan terapi rileksasi menyeluruh terhadap sistem produksi asi mulai dari memperlancar peredaran darah dan meningkatkan metabolisme ibu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efek terapi spa dengan menggunakan ramuan dasemon (daun serai lemon) terhadap produksi ASI dan kualitas hidup ibu postpartum. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan pendekatan pre and post test design with control group yang berlokasi di wilayah puskesmas Kemang Kabupaten Bogor. Pelaksanaan selama bulan Agustus sampai November 2020. Sampel penelitian yaitu ibu post partum hari ke 14 - 40 hari minggu sebanyak 30 orang yang diambil dengan menggunakan tekknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada kelompok intervensi dan kontrol dengan menggunakan kuisioner observasi produksi ASI dan kuisioner postpartum quality of life questionnaire (PQLQ). Kelompok intervensi diberikan intervensi spa (pijat oksitosin dengan minyak serai 3 kali/minggu selama 2 minggu, minum ramuan lemon 1 kali/hari selama 2 minggu, dan sauna dengan ramuan daun serai lemon 1 kali/minggu selama 2 minggu. Analisis data menggunakan uji t berpasangan mendapatkan hasil terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari terapi spa dasemon terhadap produksi ASI dan kebugaran ibu post partum (p=0,000). Kesimpulan, terapi spa dasemon berpengaruh terhadap produksi asi dan kebugaran tubuh ibu post partum. Saran agar terapi komplementer spa dasemon dapat terus ditingkatkan.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenurunan angka kematian ibu (AKI) diupayakan melalui program pembangunan SDGs (Suintainable Development Goals) pada poin ketiga yaitu untuk menurunkan AKI sebanyak ¾ jumlah perempuan yang meninggal selama hamil dan melahirkan. Hasil survei penduduk antar sensus (SUPAS) di Indonesia tahun 2015 menunjukkan AKI sebesar  305/100.000 kelahiran hidup, , artinya AKI masih jauh dari target SDGs tahun 2016 yaitu sebesar 70/100.000 kelahiran hidup. Salah satu upaya untuk mewujudkan target di atas maka perlu adanya edukasi pada ibu hamil yang komprehensif. Tujuan kegiatan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang perawatan kehamilan dan pencegahan penularan Covid-19. Metode kegiatan menggunakan  virtual class berupa group WhatsApps dengan metode ceramah, tanya jawab, voice note, video learning,  brainstorming pada 2 mitra yaitu Desa Jampang dan Tegal, Kecamatan Jampang, Kabupaten Bogor, Provinsi Jawa Barat dengan  20 orang sasaran ibu hamil. Sebelum kegiatan edukasi dilakukan  pretest. Selanjutnya post test dan monitoring  perilaku pemeriksaan kehamilan. Hasil yang didapatkan berupa peningkatan rerata pengetahan 2,9 point di desa Tegal dan 3,4 point di desa Jampang. Hasil monitoring selama satu bulan didapatkan  rata-rata kunjungan ke tenaga kesehatan adalah satu kali dalam satu bulan. Kata kunci: edukasi; ibu hamil; perawatan kehamilan; covid-19. ABSTRACTThe reduction in the maternal mortality rate (MMR) is pursued through the SDGs (Suintainable Development Goals) development program on the third point, namely to reduce the MMR by the number of women who die during pregnancy and childbirth. The results of the intercensus population survey (SUPAS) in Indonesia in 2015 showed an MMR of 305/100,000 live births, meaning that the AKI was still far from the 2016 SDGs target of 70/100,000 live births. One of the efforts to achieve the above target is the need for comprehensive education for pregnant women. The purpose of the activity is to increase the knowledge of pregnant women about pregnancy care and prevention of Covid-19 transmission. The activity method uses virtual classes in the form of WhatsApp groups with lecture methods/techniques, question and answer, voice notes, video learning, brainstorming on 2 partners, namely Jampang and Tegal Villages, Jampang District, Bogor Regency, West Java Province with 20 pregnant women targeted. Prior to educational activities, a pretest was conducted. Furthermore, post test and monitoring of pregnancy examination behavior. The results obtained are an increase in the average knowledge of 2.9 points in the village of Tegal and 3.4 points in the village of Jampang. Abstract

Background: Most regions in Indonesia have a culture in the form of taboos or recommendations that mothers must do during the postpartum period. Some cultures applied during the puerperium have no logical basis, especially from a medical point of view. The implementation of an illogical or harmful postpartum culture can harm both mother and child. Thus, there is a need for health education that can prevent the implementation of negative postpartum culture. Midwives need to have the right health education strategy with simple, easy-to-remember, and understand media. One of the strategies is health education using Education Fan Media. This fan-shaped media is a visual media that is more attractive, easy to remember, and easy to read anywhere.Purpose: this study was to determine the effectiveness of health education with educational fan media on the implementation of postpartum culture in Bogor Regency.Methods: This study uses a Quasi-Experimental design, using a Non-randomized approach with Control Posttest only Design. The research subjects were early postpartum mothers (0-7 days postpartum) with a total sample of 25 people in each intervention and control group who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria—the research held in the Kemang District, Bogor Regency, July to October 2019. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. The intervention provided was health education with a fan for postpartum education to the closest family, including husband, mother, in-laws, or grandmother who lived at home. This educational fan contains about postpartum care and negative culture during the postpartum period. The independent variable in this study is Health Education with educational fan media. The dependent variable is culture during the puerperium with sub-variables of abstinence, traditional herbal medicine, personal hygiene, and postpartum care.Results: The results of data analysis using unpaired t-test showed that health education with educational fan media had a significant effect on implementing personal hygiene culture and postpartum care with p <0.005. Health education with educational fan media has no significant effect on the implementation of dietary restrictions and traditional herbal medicine with a p-value > 0.005Conclusion: Health education with Education Fan Media has a significant effect on implementing personal hygiene culture and postpartum care in Bogor Regency. Suggestion Health education using educational fans for postpartum more effective if carried out more than once. This health education should repeat during the postpartum home visit. Keywords: Health education, education fan, postpartum culture ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Sebagian besar daerah di Indonesia memiliki budaya berupa pantangan ataupun anjuran tertentu yang harus dilakukan ibu pada masa nifas. Beberapa budaya yang diterapkan pada masa nifas tidak memiliki dasar logis, terutama dari segi medis.  Praktik penerapan budaya nifas yang tidak logis  atau negatif dapat membahayakan ibu dan anak. Dengan demikian perlu adanya pendidikan kesehatan yang dapat mencegah praktik penerapan budaya nifas yang negatif.  Sebagai Bidan perlu memiliki strategi pendidikan kesehatan yang tepat dengan media yang sederhana, mudah diingat dan difahami. Salah satu strateginya adalah pendidikan kesehatan dengan menggunakan Media Kipas Edukasi. Media berbentuk kipas ini merupakan media visual uang diharapkan lebih menarik, mudah di ingat dan mudah dibaca dimana sajaTujuan: dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Efektivitas Pendidikan Kesehatan dengan Media Kipas Edukasi Terhadap Implementasi Budaya Nifas di Kabupaten Bogor.Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Quasi Eksperiment, dengan menggunakan pendekatan  Non-randomized with  Control Postest only Design. Subjek Penelitian adalah ibu nifas dini (0-7 hari postpartum) dengan jumlah sampel 25 orang pada setiap kelompok intervensi dan kontrol yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Penelitian dilakukan  di wilayah Kecamatan Kemang, Kabupaten Bogor pada bulan Juli sampai Oktober 2019. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuesioner. Intervensi yang diberikan yaitu pendidikan kesehatan dengan Kipas edukasi nifas  kepada keluarga terdekat diantaranya suami, ibu,mertua atau nenek yang tinggal serumah. Kipas edukasi  ini berisi mengenai perawatan masa nifas dan budaya negatif selama masa nifas. Variabel independent dalam penelitian ini yaitu Pendidikan Kesehatan dengan media kipas edukasi, sedangkan variabel dependent yaitu Budaya pada masa nifas dengan sub variabel budaya pantangan makan, jamu tradisional, dan kebersihan diri, serta perawatan nifasHasil: Hasil analisis data  dengan menggunakan menggunakan uji t tidak berpasangan didapatkan hasil bahwa, pendidikan kesehatan dengan media kipas edukasi berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap implementasi  budaya kebersihan diri dan perawatan masa nifas dengan nilai p <0.005.  Pendidikan kesehatan dengan media kipas edukasi tidak  berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap implementasi  budaya pantangan makan dan   jamu tradisonal dengan nilai p > 0.005Kesimpulan: pendidikan kesehatan dengan Media Kipas Edukasi berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap implementasi  budaya kebersihan diri dan perawatan masa nifas di Kabupaten Bogor.Saran supaya lebih efektif, pendidikan kesehatan dengan menggunakan  kipas edukasi terhadap ibu nifas, sebaiknya  dilakukan lebih dari satu kali. Abstract

Latar Belakang: Berdasarkan hasil Riskesdas 2013, diketahui 34,3% balita di Indonesia tidak mendapatkan pemantauan tumbuh kembang. Pada masa pandemi, terdapat pembatasan aktifitas berskala mikro yang berdampak ditiadakannya posyandu.  Dengan demikian diperlukan suatu metode yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan ibu untuk memantau pertumbuhan anaknya secara mandiri. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah membentuk kelas ibu pintar online yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan ibu dalam deteksi dini pertumbuhan balita. Kelas ibu pintar online dipandang paling efektif pada masa pandemi, karena dapat mengurangi kontak fisik.Tujuan: untuk menganalisis efektifitas Kelas Ibu Pintar Online Terhadap Keterampilan Deteksi Dini Pertumbuhan Balita.Metode : Desain Penelitian adalah  Quasi eksperimen dengan pendekatan pre and post-test design with control group. Subjek penelitian adalah ibu yang memiliki balita di Kelurahan Cilendek Timur, Kota Bogor, terdiri dari 2 kelompok, yaitu kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol. Sampel penelitian dipilih secar non-random, dengan jumlah 30 orang ibu pada setiap kelompok. Pada kelompok intervensi diberikan pretest, kemudian diberikan edukasi tentang pertumbuhan balita pada kelas online melalui Whatsapp Group. Kegiatan intervensi berlangsung selama 2 minggu, dengan jumlah pertemuan 6 kali. Diakhir pertemuan, dilakukan Post-test pengetahuan dan observasi keterampilan ibu dalam melakukan pemantauan pertumbuhan balita serta menginterpretasikannya. Pada kelompok kontrol, responden diberikan pre test diawal kegiatan dan post tes pada akhir kegiatan. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Maret-Oktober 2021. Variabel independent dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas ibu pintar online. Sedangkan variabel independentnya adalah keterampilan deteksi pertumbuhan balita. Variabel diukur dengan kuesioner. Analisa data dengan uji mann-whitneyHasil:  didapatkan Sebagian besar responden berpendidikan SMP dan SMA dengan usia  antara 20-35 tahun, memiliki anak lebih dari 1 dan tidak bekerja (Ibu Rumah Tangga) dan  penghasilan seluruh responden di bawah UMK Kota Bogor. Pendidikan ibu, Usia Ibu, Paritas, Pekerjaan dan Penghasilan tidak berpengaruh terhadap Keterampilan Deteksi Dini Pertumbuhan Balita dengan nilai P > 0.005. Terdapat peningkatan Pengetahuan dan Keterampilan  ibu pada kelompok intervensi  dalam mendeteksi pertumbuhan balita usia 3-5 tahun di Kota Bogor. Terdapat perbedaan rerata pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu sebelum dan setelah diberikan edukasi melalui kelas ibu pintar online.Kesimpulan: Kelas Ibu pintar online dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan  ibu dalam mendeteksi pertumbuhan balita usia 3-5 tahun di Kota Bogor.Saran:  Bidan sebagai salah satu tenaga kesehatan yang berperan dalam pemantauan pertumbuhan bayi dan balita perlu memiliki berbagai strategi agar dapat melibatkan peran ibu dalam pemantauan pertumbuhan anak. Salah satu strateginya dalam penelitian ini adalah membuat kelas online. Strategi lain untuk menguatkan kelas online ini bisa di lakukan pendampingan offline dengan tetap memperhatikan prokes. Kata Kunci: Kelas Ibu, Deteksi Dini, Pertumbuhan, anak ABSTRACT Background: Based on the results of the 2013 Riskesdas, it is known that 34.3% of toddlers in Indonesia do not receive growth and development monitoring. The research sample consisted of 30 mothers in each group—chosen non-randomly. The intervention was to educate about toddlers' growth in online classes. The study was conducted in March-October 2021. The independent variable in the study was the Mother Smart Online Class. The independent variable is the skill of detecting toddlers' growth. Variables were measured by questionnaire—analysis of the data using the Mann-Whitney test.Methods: The research design is a quasi-experimental approach with a pre and post-test design with a control group approach. The research subjects were mothers who had toddlers in East Cilendek Village, Bogor City, consisting of 2 groups: the intervention group and the control group. The research sample was randomly selected non-randomly, with 30 mothers in each group. The intervention group was given a pre-test and then given education about toddler growth in online classes via the Whatsapp Group. The intervention activities lasted for two weeks, with a total of 6 meetings. At the end of the meeting, a post-test of knowledge and observation of mothers' skills was conducted to monitor toddler growth and interpret it. In the control group, first, respondents were given a pre-test and then a post-test at the end of the activity. The research was conducted in March-October 2021. The independent variable in this study was the online smart mom class. At the same time, the independent variable is toddler growth detection skills. Questionnaires measure variables—data analysis with Mann-Whitney test.Conclusion: Mother smart online class increased the knowledge and skills of mothers in detecting the growth of toddlers aged 3-5 yearsSugesstions: Recommendations, Midwives, as one the health workers who have a role in monitoring the growth of infants and toddlers, need to have various strategies to involve the role of mothers in monitoring child growth. One of the strategies in this research is to make online classes. Abstract

Ginger is a herbal ingredient that contains gingerol and shogaol substances that are proven to reduce nausea (emesis). Lemon contains vitamin C and has a fresh aroma that can increase freshness and help reduce nausea in pregnant women. trimester. Objective: The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of lemon ginger candy on emesis complaints in pregnant women in the first. Method: This study uses a pre and posttest design with control group approach. The research location is in PMB of the Kemang Health Center in Bogor Regency in June - November 2021. The study sample was pregnant women in the first trimester who experienced nausea and vomiting. Sampling was carried out by purposive sampling techniques, with a sample of 30 people in the intervention group and 30 people in the control group. Pre-research begins with product trials, organoleptic tests and candy content tests. The intervention group consumed 5 grains of lemon ginger candy per day weighing @ 1 gram. Ten grams of lemon ginger candy contains 3 grams of ginger, 1.6 mg of vitamin C and 31.2 calories. Data collection was in the intervention and control group using the PUEQ questionnaire (Pregnancy Unique Quantification of Emesis and Nausea). Results: To determine the effectiveness of ginger candy consumption on the intensity of nausea and vomiting using the Mann-Withney test to determine the effectiveness of lemon ginger candy against complaints of emesis of pregnant women in the first trimester obtained a result of p < 0.05; there was a significant difference between the control group and the intervention group. Significant differences appeared from day 6 and day 7 of the intervention. Conclusions: Lemon ginger candy can be used as an herbal ingredient to reduce nausea in pregnant women.
