Abstract

The use of information technology is growing due to the condition of the business environment is changing rapidly, so the ability to get information immediately have a competitive advantage. To achieve competitive advantage, company or organization needs to build IT (Information Technology) Master Plan that governs all investment policies and implementation of information technology. Bina Darma University is one of the colleges that run the education system by utilizing information technology, in accordance with the vision and mission of a university-based international berstrandar technology in 2025. To achieve the mission and vision needed IT Masterplan that can serve as guidelines in the investment and implementation of IT in Universitas Bina Darma. IT Development Masterplan is to use SWOT analysis to determine the strength of the IT map in Universitas Bina Darma. Research results indicate is necessary to develop the Master Plan refers to the information technology business strategy and strategic management of IS / IT. Abstract

Aktivitas akademik yang terdapat pada SMA Negeri 7 Prabumulih adalah pengelolahan data siswa, data guru, data jadwal, data nilai dan data absensi. Dalam pengelolaan data akademik masih terdapat beberapa permasalahan yang kerap muncul yakni mengenai kesulitan yang dialami pihak sekolah dalam melakukan pengolahan data akademik karena belum di dokumentasikan secara elektronik oleh pihak sekolah. Maka untuk dapat menunjang efektifitas dan efisiensi serta mempermudah dalam melakukan pengelolaan data akademik pada SMA Negeri 7 Prabumulih, akan dibangun sistem informasi akademik dengan menerapkan arsitektur Multi-Tier merupakan Aplikasi Server yang dapat mengakses aplikasi Server lain untuk mendapatkan data dari data server dan mensuplai servis ke Client Application. Kelebihan arsitektur Multi-Tier logika bisnis pada middle tier dapat digunakan lagi untuk mengembangkan aplikasi client lain, sehingga mengurangi besarnya program untuk mengembangkan aplikasi lain. Selain itu meringankan beban pada tiap-tiap mesin karena program terdistribusi pada beberapa mesin

Abstract

Website is a medium that is currently widely used as a tool to provide services and information. Palembang Open University is one of the universities that uses the website as a means to provide information related to academic activities to its students. To determine the quality of a website, it is necessary to analyze the measurement of website quality based on user perceptions. The purpose of this Analysis is used to determine the indicators that affect the quality of website services based on the instrument used from the webqual 4.0 method which consists of 3 variables, namely usability, information quality, and service interaction quality. Then the analytical technique used is importance performance Analysis (IPA) which will provide an overview of the indicators that need improvement or need to be maintained. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire with a research sample of 100 respondents. The results of the Analysis of the quality of website services at the Open University of Palembang have a suitability level of 99.99% or <100%. While the results of the average value of the gap (GAP) have a value of -0.01 which means that the quality of website performance has not fully met user expectations. Then the results of the Analysis of the IPA quadrant that need improvement because this quadrant has a low level of performance, so it can affect the level of interest of users to rely on these indicators, namely in the first priority quadrant which is indicator number 14 detailed information, indicator number 15 information in a format that according to indicator number 17 the website is safe from viruses.

Abstract

E-Museum is a digital creative modifications to the museum into an electronic web-based museum that can be accessed via the internet. Utilization of information technology in preserving the culture of the area into one of the strategies in introducing and promoting the cultural wealth of Indonesia to the international world. Development of E-Museum songket into one creative step the nation can do to keep the local culture in South Sumatra that is not lost with age, because the e-museum as a medium of information dissemination museum. Utilization of Web 2.0 technologies, databases, and viewing multimedia displays to show the diversity of types, songket motifs and colors are needed to be able to produce e-museum informative and high art, so reducing the value cultural values ​​contained in the songket. The objective of this research is to build a prototype e-museum songket web-based and multimedia to provide clear information to Indonesian and international community about the local culture in South Sumatra in the form of songket. E-Museum will also be used as a means of preservation and promotion of local culture to the world internasinal South Sumatra. This research has produced a prototype that was developed using SDLC method.

Abstract

College is an academic organization, an institution which has a role and strategic position in the achievement of educational goals. To achieve The goal, the college needs the support of information technology in carrying out its activities. There are currently utilizing cloud computing technology be one solution to optimize operational effectiveness and efficiency information technology in higher education. However, the use of new technologies of potential risks in their operations that have an impact on performance organization. Therefore we need appropriate risk management for implementation cloud computing in order to improve the performance of colleges. Research It aims to measure the level of possible risks arising from the introduction cloud computing at the university to make use of the OCTAVE Framework on the application of cloud computing technology for information systems at universities high (Bina Darma University case study). This research resulted in the level of University information system readiness Bina Darma in applying technology cloud computing that are in a position YELLOW, namely the implementation of the information system has supported the adoption of cloud computing, but more needs to be improved.

Abstract

Data geospasial pada media sosial Twitter dapat dimanfaatkan untuk mengetahui informasi spasial (lokasi) yang merupakan lokasi sumber munculnya persepsi publik terhadap sebuah isu di media sosial. Besarnya produksi data geospasial yang dihasilkan oleh Twitter memberikan peluang besar untuk dapat dimanfaatkan oleh berbagai pihak sehingga menghasilkan informasi yang lebih bernilai melalui proses Twitter Data Analytics. Proses pemanfaatan data geospasial Twitter dimulai dengan melakukan proses ekstraksi terhadap informasi spatial berupa titik koordinat pengguna Twitter. Titik koordinat pengguna Twitter didapatkan dari sharing location yang dilakukan oleh pengguna Twitter. Untuk mengekstrak dan menganalisis data geospasial pada Twitter dibutuhkan pengetahuan dan kerangka kerja tentang social media analytics (SMA). Pada penelitian ini dilakukan ekstraksi dan analisis data geospasial Twitter terhadap suatu isu publik yang sedang berkembang dan mengembangakan prototipe perangkat lunak yang digunakan untuk mendapatkan data geospasial yang ada pada Twitter. Proses ekstraksi dan analisis dilakukan melalui empat tahapan yaitu: proses penarikan data (crawling), penyimpanan (storing), analisis (analyzing), dan visualisasi (vizualizing). Penelitian ini bersifat exploratory yang terfokus pada pengembangan teknik ekstrasi dan analisis terhadap data geospasial twitter

Abstract

Balai Riset dan Standardisasi Industri Palembang merupakan unit pelaksana teknis di lingkungan Kementerian Perindustrian yang berada di bawah Badan Penelitian dan Pengembangan Industri, Kementerian Perindustrian. Pengembangan sistem ini bertujuan untuk membangun dan menerapkan Sistem Informasi Standardisasi pada Balai Riset dan Standardisasi Industri Palembang dengan metode pengembangan waterfall. Sistem ini dirancang untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan pada Balai Riset dan Standardisasi Industri Palembang diantaranya adalah tidak tersedianya sistem yang dapat membantu dalam perkiraan stok bahan kimia yang menyebabkan keterlambatan ketersediaan bahan kimia sebagai bahan baku pengujian. Adapun permasalahan lainnya adalah tidak tersedianya sistem untuk mendokumentasikan informasi dari analis sehingga ada informasi yang terlewatkan dan tidak diketahui oleh analis lain. Penelitian ini menghasilkan Sistem Informasi Standardisasi yang dibangun untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut dengan merancang beberapa fitur untuk menghilangkan dan menyelesaikan permasalahan-permasalahan potensial yang sering terjadi.

Abstract

In an effort to reduce the mortality rate due to infection in infants, immunization activities are carried out. Implementation of immunization, namely through Integrated Service Posts. In the current system, child immunization data is recorded on the KMS (Kartu Menuju Sehat) that parents bring to the immunization program. The card is prone to missing, which causes parents to not have their child's immunization history data. The existence of a computerized application can help the health service process to be faster and provide valid and up to date data. Immunization data monitoring application is an application that was built to help organize the data into information needed to support routine monitoring activities at the public health center of Pembina. The design of this application uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML) and is developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method that can produce systems quickly and directly involve the user in the application development process. This research resulted in an immunization data monitoring application intended for parents and officers of the Integrated Service Post at public health center.
