This study aims to: (1) develop a partnership model of vocational education with business sectors in civil engineering expertise program of vocational secondary schools in Bali and (2)testing the effectiveness and efficiency of partnership model developed. The study used the design and development model of Richey & Klein (2009), which consists of three main phases, namely the phase of model development, model validation, and model testing. The phase of model development used the qualitative approach, through literature review, observation and interview. Expert review techniques were used in the model validation phase. The model testing used pre-experimental design with one-shot case study. The study found that the partnership model of vocational education with the business sector in civil engineering expertise program of vocational secondary schools in Bali involves several components, such as key stakeholders, the underlying principle of partnership, orientation/common goal, the management of educational resources (teachers and facilities), curriculum development, implementation of learning/training and work practices, competency test of graduates, distribution of learning outcomes/output, as well as monitoring, evaluation and feedback of partnership program. Experimental results show that the partnership model developed has met all of the criteria (effective, practical and efficient).

Information systems that have been developed and used need to be evaluated. Measuring the success of the application of an information system must take into account at least four parameters, namely the individual who uses it, the organization where individuals interact, the information the system presents, and the information technology itself. This study also examined whether there is a direct correlation between user experience and organizational support for net benefits. This research was carried out in three stages, from the preparation, data collection, to data analysis and reporting. Based on the results of testing the research hypothesis, only one hypothesis was accepted (significant), namely the relationship between the quality of information systems, the use of information systems, user satisfaction and net profits. Based on the results of testing and discussion, the application (sitasi) is still not fully successful. There are several obstacles found in its operations, both in terms of system quality, information quality, and the quality of citation services

A lecturer at a university has the obligation to perform tri dharma college. One of the tri dharma is research. Research activities is a very important thing to be managed properly. Good management can improve the quality of the lecturer career that will have an impact on the quality of STMIK STIKOM Indonesia (STIKI) as an educational institution. This research has been through various stages, ranging from business process analysis, design until the implementation of the system. Based on the analysis of business processes in the current system found various problems. The main problem is on the process of research recapitulation. The running of manual system could be caused human error and generated inaccurate information and not real time. The system is designed using a structured design models starting from document flow diagrams, system flow diagrams, data flow diagrams until the entity relationship diagram. The bulit system has ranging features from master data management, management of research proposals until the management of the research report. All of these management processes have been designed to run systematically that could be minimized the error rate due to human error.

Saat ini telah banyak aplikasi yang dapat menunjang para akademisi untuk mengumpulkan dan mencatat publikasi yang telah diunggah secara dalam jaringan. Program/aplikasi tersebut akan sangat membantu penulis dalam membuat sitasi dan bibliografi, dan dapat meminimalkan tindakan plagiasi. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan Kepala SMA Negeri 1 Kuta Selatan, ditemukan fakta bahwa guru-guru yang aktif menulis masih belum mengenal dan menguasai program penunjang untuk memudahkan sitasi dan penulisan bibliografi. Untuk itu diselenggarakan pelatihan tentang penggunaan aplikasi pengelola referensi (Mendeley) dan pengolah kata (membuat daftar isi) yang berguna bagi guru untuk membuat karya ilmiah, seperti artikel jurnal atau buku. Kegiatan pelatihan ini telah dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan para guru SMA N 1 Kuta Selatan tentang pemanfaatan aplikasi pengelola referensi Mendeley dan meningkatkan pemahaman menggunakan Microsoft Word untuk membuat daftar isi dan daftar pustaka otomatis.
