ABSTRAKBaby corn merupakan sayuran jagung yang dipanen muda atau belum menghasilkan biji. Peningkatan produksi baby corn jagung manis (Zea mays L.) perlu diimbangi dengan ketersediaan hara yang cukup selama pertumbuhannya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui respons pertumbuhan baby corn jagung manis (Zea mays L.). yang diberi perlakuan pupuk urin kelinci dan pupuk NPK, serta kadar gula reduksi baby corn.Penelitian dilaksanakan di green house, laboratorium biologi dan laboratorium kimia Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Widyagama Malang University. Pupuk urin kelinci diperoleh dari Kabupaten Banjarnegara-Sigaluh Jawa Tengah. Pelaksanaan penelitian berlangsung bulan Juni-Agustus 2020. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Kelompok Acak Lengkap (RAL) diulang sebanyak empat kali dengan enam perlakuan sebagai berikut: P0: Tanpa pupuk (Kontrol), P1: NPK 100 kg/ha + Urin Kelinci 40 ml/l air , P2: NPK 150 kg/ha + Urin Kelinci 35 ml/l air, P3: NPK 200 kg/ha + Urin Kelinci 30 ml/l air, P4: NPK 250 kg/ha + Urin Kelinci 25 ml/lair, P5: NPK 300 kg/ha (tanpa urin kelinci). Data dianalisa menggunakan Anova. Untuk perlakuan yang memberikan pengaruh nyata dilakukan uji lanjut dengan menggunakan uji BNJ (Uji Nyata Jujur) pada taraf uji 5%. Variabel yang diamati adalah panjang tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, umur bunga jantan dan betina, jumlah tongkol, diameter tongkol, berat tongkol, kadar gula reduksi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pupuk urin kelinci dan NPK berpengaruh nyata terhadap panjang tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun terluas, umur bunga betina dan jantan, tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah tongkol, diameter tongkol, berat tongkol, dan kandungan gula reduksi. ABSTRACT Baby corn is a vegetable that is harvested young or has no seed yet. The increasing production of sweet baby corn (Zea mays L.) should be balanced with sufficient nutrient availability during its growth. The purpose of this study was to determine the growth response of sweet baby corn on the application of rabbit urine and NPK fertilizers, and the reduction sugar content. The research was conducted in green house, biology and chemical laboratory of Agriculture Faculty, University of Widya Gama Malang. Meanwhile, rabbit urine fertilizer is obtained from the district Banjarnegara-Sigaluh Central Java. The research was conducted from June to August 2020. The experimental design used was a completely randomized block design which was repeated four times (CRD) with six treatments as follows: P0: No fertilizer (Control) , P1: NPK 100 kg/ha + Rabbit urine 40 ml/l water, P2: NPK 150 kg/ha + Rabbit urine 35 ml/1 water, P3: NPK 200 kg/ha + Rabbit urine 30 ml/l water, P4: NPK 250 kg/ha + Rabbit urine 25 ml/l water, P5: NPK 300 kg/ha (without rabbit urine). The datas was analized with Anova, while the the treatments which have significant effect was tested with the Tukey’ test at 5%. The variables which observed were as follows: plant length, number of leaves, leaf area, age of male and female flowers, number of cobs, ear diameter, ear weight, and reduction sugar test.The result showed that the concentration of rabbit urine liquid fertilizer and NPK had significant effect on plant length, number of leaves, widest leaf area, age of female and male flowers, however had no significant effect on ear number, ear diameter, ear weight, and reduction sugar content.
