Abstract

Inventarisasi alat dan bahan Laboratorium IPA UNM saat ini telah dilakukan secara manual, akan tetapi masih banyak ditemukan berbagai kekurangan, untuk meminimalisir berbagai kerkurangan tersebut pengelola Laboratorium IPA UNM mencoba untuk memanfaatkan teknologi, Salah satunya memanfaatkan aplikasi QR Code. Pemanfaatan QR Code telah banyak digunakan akan tetapi pemnafaatannya untuk alat dan bahan laboratorium di IPA Terpadu UNM merupakan suatu hal yang baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana inventarisasi alat dan bahan laboratorium Pendidikan IPA dengan fitur QR Code. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang akan menyajikan gambaran  penggunaan QR Code dalam menginventarisasi alat dan bahan Laboratorium IPA FMIPA UNM. Fokus penelitian ini adalah inventarisasi alat dan bahan di Laboratorium IPA FMIPA UNM. Hasil inventarisasi alat dan bahan laboratorium IPA Terpadu terhimpun didalam sebuah blog yang ketika dipindai akan memunculkan alat dan bahan di dalam blog. Semua alat utama dan bahan-bahan dasar dalam praktikum IPA Terpadu telah diventarisasi dengan menggunakan QR Code.

Abstract

The purpose of this study were to analyze the quantity of microorganisms in some local ragi tape and determine the panelists' acceptance of the "tape jusinta" was produced. This type of research is an experiment with a solid substrate fermentation method. The used ragi tape is 4 kinds of local ragi tape from South Sulawesi Province (ragi tape A, B, C, and D) and 1 type of local ragi tape from Southeast Sulawesi Province (ragi tape E). The Tape Jusinta was produced by fermentation of a solid mixture of purple sweet potato and cassava tubers in a ratio of 1: 1 using 5 kinds of local ragi tape. Analysis of microbial quantity in ragi tape includes the number of molds, yeasts and bacteria in viable count using the Standard Plate Count (SPC) method. Panelist acceptance of the Tape Jusinta product was analyzed using the Hedonic test with a numerical scale range of "6". Data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially using Anova and Duncan's Multiple Test. The results of the data analysis showed that the level of palatability of the panelists to the tapejusinta  fermentedragi tape B was not different from the tape jusinta fermented ragi tape A and C, but the tape jusinta fermented by Cragi tape was different from the results of fermentation ragi tape D and E. The “tape jusinta” fermented ragi tape B is preferred over the tape jusinta fermented ragi tape A, C, D and E with the highest average panelist rating of 4.15. The quantity of microorganisms on ragi tape B are mold types as much as 1.0 x 104 cfu / g, yeast 8.0 x 103 cfu / g and bacteria 5.7 x 104 cfu/ g. Keywords: cassava roots, purple sweet potatoes, ragi tape, "tape jusinta", palatabilityAbstrakTujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis kuantitas mikroorganisme pada beberapa ragi tape lokal dan mengetahui daya terima panelis terhadap “tape jusinta” yang dihasilkan. Jenis penelitian adalah eksperimen dengan metode fermentasi substrat padat. Ragi tape yang digunakan adalah 4 macam ragi tape lokal yang berasal dari Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan (ragi tape A, B, C, dan D) dan 1 macam berasal dari Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara (ragi tape E). Tape Jusinta dihasilkan melalui fermentasi substrat padat campuran ubi jalar ungu dan umbi ubi kayu dengan perbandingan 1 : 1 menggunakan 5 macam ragi tape lokal. Analisis kuantitas mikroba pada ragi tape  meliputi jumlah kapang, khamir dan bakteri secara viable countmenggunakan metode Standard Plate Count (SPC). Daya terima panelis terhadap produk Tape Jusinta dianalisis menggunakan uji Hedonik dengan rentang skala numerik “6”.Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensial dengan Anava dan Duncan’s Multiple Test. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kesukaan (palatability) panelis terhadap tape jusinta hasil fermentasi ragi tape B tidak berbeda dengan tape jusinta hasil fermentasi ragi tape A dan C, namun tape jusinta hasil fermentasi ragi tape C berbeda dengan hasil fermentasi ragi tape D dan E. Tape jusinta hasil fermentasi ragi tape B lebih disukai daripada tape jusinta hasil fermentasi ragi tape A, C, D dan E dengan rata-rata penilaian panelis tertinggi yaitu 4.15. Kuantitas mikroorganisme pada ragi tape B yaitu jenis kapang sebanyak 1.0 x 104 cfu/g, khamir   8.0 x 103 cfu/g dan bakteri 5.7 x 104 cfu/g .Kata kunci:  Umbi ubi kayu, ubi jalar ungu, ragi tape, “tape jusinta”, daya terima

Abstract

This study aimed to obtain the ability of bacteria to degrade diesel fuel. Method of this research was exploration method. Bacteria were isolated by enrichment method used SMSSe enriched diesel 2% (v/v). Selection of hidrocarbonoclastic bacteria based on the ability of to grow on agar medium solid. The bacteria in the test made in the form of suspension with Mc Farland Standard 0.5. Test of bacterial isolates were used 10% of the inoculum put in 150 mL media with different concentrations of diesel fuel were 1%, 2% and 3% and incubated on a rotary shaker at 120 rpm. Samples were taken on 1, 5, 10, 15 and 20 days to test diesel emulsion by centrifugation at a speed of 3500 rpm ±15 minutes, the comparison between the media and diesel 4:1. Growth in the amount of bacteria accounted by a Standard Plate Count method. The levels of the diesel rest calculated every sampling during incubation. The selection results of obtained diesel degrading bacteria isolates that PSI.1 PSII.1 and PSIII.2. All of bacteria have the ability to degrade diesel fuel in different treatment, the best result in lowered diesel fuel that were a concentration of 3% during 20 days of incubated at PSII.1 isolate, that have the highest ability to reduce levels of diesel up to 70,70%.Keywords: Hydrocarbonoclastic, Degradation, Diesel fuels ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan bakteri dalam mendegradasi solar. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksploratif. Isolasi bakteri menggunakan metode enrichment dengan media yang digunakan yaitu SMSSe yang diperkaya solar 2% (v/v). Pemilihan bakteri hidrokarbonoklastik berdasarkan kemampuan bakteri tumbuh pada media agar padat. Inokulum bakteri dibuat dalam bentuk suspensi dengan Standar Mc Farland 0,5. Pengujian kemampuan degradasi solar dilakukan menggunakan media minimal dengan variasi konsentrasi solar 1%, 2% dan 3% dan diinkubasi pada rotary shaker. Sampel diambil pada hari ke 1, 5, 10, 15 dan 20 untuk uji emulsi solar dengan menghitung volume solar yang teremulsi. Pertumbuhan jumlah bakteri dihitung dengan metode Standard Plate Count. Kadar sisa solar dihitung setiap pengambilan sampel selama inkubasi. Hasil seleksi bakteri pendegradasi solar diperoleh tiga isolat yaitu PSI.1 PSII.1 dan PSIII.2. Ketiga isolat bakteri memiliki kemampuan mendegradasi solar pada perlakuan yang berbeda, hasil terbaik dalam menurunkan kadar solar yaitu konsentrasi 3% selama 20 hari inkubasi pada isolat PSII.1 yang memiliki kemampuan tertinggi menurunkan kadar solar hingga 70,70%. Kata kunci : Hidrokarbonoklastik, Pendegradasi, Solar

Abstract

The target partners in the Public Partnership Program (PKM) of Jusinta Tape Fermentation technology are students at the XII grade SMA Yatama Mandiri Islamic Boarding School, Gowa Regency. The location of the Islamic boarding school is in the area of Pallangga Subdistrict, Gowa Regency, which has the first highest cassava production and second highest sweet potatoes production land in South Sulawesi.. The implementation of activities is supported by the field of expertise of the implementing team related to the results of research in the form of a tape product called "Tape Jusinta" (Muhiddin, et al., 2018). This tape is made through the fermentation process of a mixture of purple sweet potato tubers and cassava roots using a local ragi tape starter. The process of making tape from purple sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas L.) and cassava roots (Manihot esculenta Crantz) with a local ragi tape starter, has received patent certificate in January 2020. Another thing that supports the potential of students who really need knowledge development and skills to grow economically productive businesses with Islamic boarding schools located in sweet potato and cassava production centers. The output target that is expected to be achieved in this PKM activity is that students have the knowledge and skills in producing Jusinta Tape through fermentation technology. The results of the activity are expected to be developed into a learning tool for biotechnology materials. The methods used are: lectures, demonstrations, discussions, practice and mentoring. The instruments used to determine the participants' responses to the Tape Jusinta fermentation technology training were questionnaires, observation, interviews, and documentation. The results achieved were that the participants could easily understand the processing of purple sweet potato and cassava roots into Tape Jusinta through fermentation technology. As many as 60% of the participants from the teacher group answered that the Tape Jusinta fermentation technology was in accordance with the students' abilities and was suitable to be applied in biotechnology learning. The organoleptic test results show that the Tape Jusinta product has a light purple color with an average of 4.4, the aroma of alcohol is less sharp with an average of 4.2, a soft texture with an average of 8.6, a slightly sour taste with an average of 4.4, the taste is quite sweet on average  6.5, and product palatability by the society is well received with an average of 8.9.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) tingkat keterampilan proses sains dan hasil belajar peserta didik setelah diajarkan dengan menggunakan LKPD berbasis guided discovery, 2) tingkat keterampilan proses sains dan hasil belajar peserta didik setelah diajarkan menggunakan LKPD konvensional, dan 3) pengaruh LKPD berbasis guided discovery terhadap keterampilan proses sains dan hasil belajar IPA. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi experiment dan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design  dengan populasi seluruh peserta didik  kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Makassar yang terdiri dari 10 kelas dengan jumlah peserta didik sebanyak 335 orang dipilih secara purposive sampling yaitu kelas eksperimen 14 orang dan kelas kontrol 13 orang. Keterampilan proses sains peserta didik diperoleh nilai rerata pada kelas eksperimen 70,22  kategori kurang dan kelas kontrol 67,61 kategori kurang. Hasil belajar peserta didik diperoleh skor rerata pada kelas eksperimen 13,9 kategori sedang dan kelas kontrol 13,2 tergolong kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil analisis inferensial menggunakan uji-t keterampilan proses sains dan hasil belajar diperoleh <. Demikian disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh LKPD berbasis  guided discovery terhadap keterampilan proses sains dan hasil belajar IPA peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Makassar.

Abstract

The partner of this Community Partnership Program (PKM) was a the MGMP IPA of Bantaeng Regency. The problem with this dedication is that there are still many science teachers who have not mastered Nata de Coco biotechnology. While they as educators in junior high schools must master several applications of biotechnology to manage practicum in Biotechnology learning materials according to the curriculum. Biotechnology training is very appropriate for Science Teachers, so that their insights and skills in practicum management especially on biotechnology materials can be sufficient as an effort to increase the competence of professional teaching staff. The expected output target in this PKM activity is that science teachers have the knowledge and skills in Nata de Coco biotechnology. The results of this activity can be developed into one of the learning tools on Biotechnology material in junior high schools. The method used is: lecture, demonstration, discussion, practice and assistance. The results achieved were the response of science teachers to the process of making Nata de Coco, which on average 85% were in the good and very good categories. The response of science teachers to Nata de Coco biotechnology in learning science in class as much as 98% of teachers answered that Nata de Coco biotechnology can be applied in the classroom and can increase students' interest and science process skills, as much as 100% of teachers answer making Nata de Coco can help students understand the benefits biotechnology in everyday life, and as many as 88% of teachers answer making Nata de Coco according to students' abilities and suitable for application in biotechnology learning.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui : (1) miskonsepsi yang terjadi pada peserta didik didik kelas VII SMPN 24 Makassar pada materi lapisan bumi dan (2) persentase peseta didik kelas VII SMPN 24 Makassar yang mengalami miskonsepsi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain survei deskriptif. Populasi penelitian sebanyak     360 peserta didik kelas VII dengan teknik sampling secara Random Sampling sehingga diperoleh sampel sebanyak 133 peserta didik. Penelitian menggunakan tes tertulis dengan soal pilihan ganda beralasan dengan tingkat keyakinan (three-tier diagnostic test) sebanyak 17 butir soal yang telah melalui validasi ahli dan validasi item. Data dianalisis dengan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil identifikasi menunjukkan bahwa: (1) miskonsepsi terjadi pada semua konsep yang ada pada materi lapisan bumi dengan kategori tinggi (2) persentase miskonsepsi peserta didik pada konsep komponen penyusun atmosfer sebesar 65,41% (tinggi), hubungan antara ketinggian tempat, tekanan udara dan jumlah molekul udara di atmosfer sebesar sebesar 62,91% (tinggi), karakteristik lapisan troposfer sebesar 68,80% (tinggi), karakteristik lapisan stratosfer sebesar 60,15% (tinggi), karakteristik lapisan mesosfer sebesar 71,43% (tinggi), karakteristik lapisan termosfer sebesar 77,45% (tinggi), karakteristik lapisan eksosfer sebesar 71,43% (tinggi), karakteristik litosfer sebesar 60,53% (tinggi), penyebab terjadinya gempa bumi 63,91% (tinggi), penyebab terbentuknya gunung api 50,38% (sedang), dan karakteristik hidrosfer 67,67% (tinggi).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) Menganalisis tingkat keterampilan berpikir kritis diajar dengan menggunakan model Kooperatif Tipe Group Investigation (GI); (2) Menganalisis tingkat keterampilan berpikir kritis yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung; dan (3) Menganalisis perbandingan keterampilan berpikir kritis yang dibelajarkan dengan  Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Group Investigation (GI) dan model pembelajaran langsung pada peserta didik kelas VIII SMPN 15 Makassar pada materi pokok sistem ekskresi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (Quasi-Eksperiment) dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII SMPN 15 Makassar. Pengambilan sampel melalui teknik accidental sampling sehingga diperoleh kelas VIII D sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII E sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil analisis deskriptif diperoleh skor rerata N-gain pada kelas eksperimen tergolong kategori sedang dan pada kelas kontrol  juga tergolong kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik inferensial mengunakan uji hipotesis diperoleh bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik yang diajar dengan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Group Investigation (GI) lebih tinggi dari berpikir kritis peserta didik yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran langsung pada materi sistem ekskresi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine 1) the level of creative thinking ability of class VIII students of SMPN 18 Makassar before and after the application of ClassPoint interactive media with the Discovery Learning model. 2) increasing the creative thinking skills of class VIII students of SMPN 18 Makassar through the application of ClassPoint interactive media with the Discovery Learning model 3) There is a significant increase in the average value of creative thinking skills after applying ClassPoint interactive media with the Discovery Learning model. This type of research is experimental research (experimental research) using the Pre-Experimental Design. The treatment is the application of ClassPoint Interactive media with the Discovery Learning model in the experimental class. The research population was all class VIII students at SMPN 18 Makassar for the academic year 2022/2023 which consisted of 10 classes with a total of 300 students. The research sample was determined by Purposive Sampling Technique so that class VIII8 was assigned with a total of 30 students. The instrument used in the study was a test instrument in the form of essay questions containing indicators of the ability to think creatively as many as 10 items. Data collection was carried out by giving a Pretest and Posttest. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results of the descriptive statistical analysis of students' creative thinking abilities before application (pretest) were in the very less creative category with a value of 12.40 and after the application of ClassPoint interactive media with the Discovery Learning model (posttest) were in the moderately creative category with a value of 55.60. The increase in students' creative thinking skills is in the medium category with an N-Gain of 0.49. The results of inferential statistical analysis show that there is a significant increase in the average value of creative thinking skills after the application of ClassPoint interactive media with the Discovery Learning model.
