Abstract

Inmany  waysthissubjectisnotaneasy one,since thecorporate communicationsfunction isrelativelynew,certainlytomostEuropean companies.The resourcesputbehindcorporatecommunicationshavenotbeen asgreatasmanyhave feltdesirable,andthecommitmentofthecompany managementhasinmanycasesbeen,atbest,questionable.We areallstill learningthebest  wayofapproachingthisarea,andthetenstepthatwere outlined  above shouldbe taken as guiding stepsrather than a definitive approach.I  havedeliberatelyavoidedreferenceinthischaptertowhatisoften known  as  the  communications  audit.  I  feared   that  to  discuss  the communications auditwouldinmany  ways detractfromthepracticalitiesof planningthecorporatecommunicationsfunction.Theaudit,whichisdescribed elsewhere,isaveryusefulprocesstotakeaccount ofallthecommunications activitiesthatacompanyisengagedin,andassuchitshould  bepartofthe overallcorporatecommunicationsplanningprocess.Indeed,  theapproaches thatIhaveadvocatedareinthemselvessomefromofaudit.Thesuccessorfailureofthecommunicationsplanningprocesswillat thedayrest upon  twokeyfactors: thecommitmentand  energy ofthe top management,andthewillingnessofother individualstosharetheirexperience andexpertisetowardsacommoninterest.Toooften,thesefactorsaresadly missing,because thecorporate  communicationsfunctioneither isnot high enoughonthechairmansagendaor,alternatively,isinconflictwhit theinterest oftheoperatingcompanies.Corporate    communications    planning    requires     determination,                                     commonsensealittlepolitiesandagreatdealofpatience

Abstract

When communications tools fungcition at their best, they can go beyond mere facilitation to transformations. Suchwas the case at rosen law firm.based in releigh, north caroline.Lee rosen, the firms owner and chief executive,wanted to replace an expensive, complicate and inflexible computer system that employees relied on for everythingfrom contact list to appointmen calenders to document stroge.the solution he chose for his small law firm was awiki, the same technology that enable nearly 100.000 people around thw world to contribute to Wikipedia.Thewiki certainly helped cut costs and it also did much more. In addition to handling much of the firms documentstorage and formal communication, the wiki introduced an informal social element that is helping employeesbond as a community.many employees have added personal page with information about themselves, helpingemployess get to know their collagues on more intimate level in implementasi the wiki,rosen faced a commonchallenge whit new communications tools,getting people to give up familiar ways of doing things and embracechange.knowing that the value of a company wiki depends on the level of employee contribution and that havingsome of the staff swicht while others cling to old ways would seriously discrupt communication he encouraged usethe new wiki with a friendly competition. For each page an employee created during the three moth competition,he or she was given on possible combination to the company safe,which contained a 1000 cash prize. Abstract

The role of the vision and mission of an organization in both the fields of education, business and government is crucial in an effort to achieve success, relates that every organization must have the vision and mission of the philosophy as a guide for the present and future. Vision is a picture (insight) or a statement of what the organization wants to be realized in the present and the future. While the mission statement is implemented by considering the formulation of the assertion and desire as well as giving a clear direction.  This study aims to determine the vision and mission of understanding employee FIKOM UPDM (B) as a basis in carrying out their daily work.  The results showed that the research results, it can be described many of the employees who do not understand the meaning of the vision and mission FIKOM UPDM (B), and it showed when they carry out the work, such is not the lack of referrals or direct supervisor to a subordinate to do with vision and mission in accordance with work responsibilities; does not work in accordance with the organization and work or description of existing jobs; outside office during working hours; individual products is not clear; synergy between employees in the morning and afternoon never happened, etc.

Abstract

seiring dengan perkembangan zaman yang sangat cepat dan modern membuat dunia pendidikan semakinpenuh dengan dinamika hal tersebut menuntut adanya perubahan di berbagai sector kehidupan tak terkecualidalam bidang pendidikan.Di Indonesia sendiri dinamika itu tidak henti-hentinya dengan sejumlah masalahmengenai pendidikan.Pada umumnya sebuah sekolah dan pendidikan bertujuan untuk kehidupan manusia ituharus ditata sesuai dengan nilai-nilai kewajaran dan keadaban (civility).Keadapan inilah secara praktis sangatdibutuhkan dalam setiap gerak dan prilaku.

Abstract

Surveys indicate  managerial  people  in organizations  spend up to 80 percent  of their workday in toceto   face  conversations,  in meetings,  on the phone,  or writing,  other research has suggested that approximately  60  percent   of  the workday to spent  listening, yet   the   estimates   are   that   less  than  50  percent    of  the   area messaged used in a day are fully understood. A  recent   survey  of  Australia   business executives   showed that  the ability to listen was ranks as the most important communications  skill necessary  for persona/- success in  the organizations. Similar  results   were    obtained   in   a    1982.   Study     after communication  skills Australian  accounting raduates. The purpose  of this writing  is  to increase awareness  of how much  of our day  was  spent listening,  to identify  some  of the major barriers   of   effective   listening,   and    finally    to   learn    how    to concentration,    objectivity,    questioning   and     feedback    can improve  listening behavior. Listening   is    the   communication   channel    we    use  most frequently.  Yet  surveys  show   that   listening   skills are   the   least developed !.

Abstract

Human development and cultural progress rapidly , which in the beginning of human life ranging from farmingto those who live on land or mountains , then the other life of fishermen that are not menetap. Both made the life oftime to time often move from one place the new elsewhere and may provide a better income than the sebelumnya.Proses a simple process to maintain the necessities of life .Man is as a result of the displacement of an increasingly uncertain start to think to stay longer and even berpindah.Dari is where people begin to believe that life is not just related to the natural course but no more shouldthey believe that confidence in the authorities and human nature ( Supreme Creator ) . they perform rituals asa token of gratitude , such as discard at sea off the coast of crops / with the procedures / persembahannya.Dariwhere they make symbol - symbol , for example, in ceremonies of birth, death , marriage , election of indigenousleader in terms of governance and munculah budaya.sosial and identity ( a state that has a unique characteristicor characteristics of the individual to identify where someone or something seen ) is typical of the houses, thedress code , everything is part of asimulasi of local culture in the archipelago as well as any which is the cultureof Toraja Land .

Abstract

Because the work of socials cientists and interpreters is so different, they often have trouble understanding and valuing their counterparts scholarship. This workplace tension parallels the struggle between ranchers and farmers in Rodgers and Hammersteins Broadway musical Oklahoma! One song calls for understanding and cooperation :The farmer and the cowman should be friends,Oh, the farmer and the cowman should be friends,One man likes to push a plough, The other likes to chase a cow,But thats no reason why they cant be friends. The problem, of course, is that farmers and ranchers want to push a plough or chase a cow over the same piece of land. Daily disputes over fences, water, and that are common between objective and interpretive scholars. Differences in ways of knowinq. views of human nature, values, goals of theory building, and methods of research seem to ensure tension and misunderstanding.Friendly attitudes between empiricists and critical interpreters are particularly hard to come by when each group insists on applying its own standards of judgment to the work of the other group. As a first-time reader of communication theory, you could easily get sucked in to making the same mistake. If youve had training in the scientific method and judged value of every communication theory by whether it predicts human behavior, youll automatically reject 50 percent of the theories presented in this book. On the other hand, if you’ve been stepped in the humanities and expect every theory to help unmask the meaing of a text, you’ll easily dismissed the other half.

Abstract

This study is intended to show the impacts of management behavior and organization climate that are related to the job statisfaction on lecturers from the Faculty Communication Sciene, the University Of Prof. DR. Moestopo (Beragama)-FIKOM UPDM (B).The Research was carrying out by survey’s method and it was done by simplerandom sampling technique with the respondents are about 75 lecturers from the faculty, as well as it was using questionnaire. The results of this study are as follows:Significant positive correlation between management behavior and lecturer’s Job Satisfaction. Equation regression is Y = 30,109 + 0,373 X1, with person product moment is about 0,522 or 22,72% of X1.Significant positive correlation between organization climate and lecturer’s Job Satisfaction. From the equation regression: Y = 22,342 + 0,502 X2, and Finally There was significant positive correlation between a combination of management behavior and organization climate that is related to job satisfaction of lecturer. The equation regression result is Y = 18,388 + 0,264 X1 + 0,329 X2.the determination coefficient is 0,597, while the contribution of management behavior and organization climate to the lecturer’s job satisfaction is about 35,4 5

Abstract

Dalam tulisan ini tujuannya untuk menjelaskan proses dasar komunikiasi teori-teori yang berkenaan dengan tekniknya, dengan kata lain untuk menolong siswa memformasikan dan menyebarkan ke efektifan pesan.Komunikasi adalah implementasi dari ssebuah keputusan, dengan kata lain komunikasi adalah proses dana tujuan yang dicapai secara obyektif. Hal ini bisa dibentuk berita release, berita konferensi, Peristiwa khusus, brosur, pidato, stiker, parade, poster dan semacamnya.Dalam sebuah rencana program, langkah ini dikenal sebagai strategi dan taktik, hal terswebut juga dikenal sebagai komunikasi yang berjalan keluar.Tujuan   dari proses komunikasi adalah untuk menginformasikan, membujuk memotivasi atau mencapai pengetian berbalas-balasan.Untuk menjadi seorang komunikator yang efektif, orang itu harus mempunyai pengetahuan mendasar tentang bagaimana menyusun suatu komunikasi, dan bagaimana masyarakat menerima pesan.Yang juga diperlukan adalah suatu pengertian tentang cara orang-orang memproses indormasi, dan kemungkinan memodifikasi tingkah laku mereka, opini dan tindakan mereka.
