Abstract

In the districts, especially in the village Citapen Ciawi there are some cassava farmers who have not been able to make cassava into refined products, namely flour mocaf seed. By holding the training and marketing of mocaf flour production, the public will be able to establish a small industry of flour in order to increase farmers income by producing quality products in the long term. The method used in the training were started the promotion to KWT Pillars Citapen Tani village and then trained of the production and marketing of flour mocaf and its processed products. Production and marketing of training mocaf flour had a positive impact on the change in condition of the community, building the creative society, science and the experience gained and revenue increases seen by the data obtained from the public respondents.

Abstract

This study aims to identify 1) the source of production risk in some indigenous leaf vegetables, especially basil 2) the level of risks encountered, and 3) formulate strategies tocontrol the risk of production of indigenous leaf vegetable. The research was conducted in Kecamatan Kadudampit Sukabumi, the method of sampling used simple random sampling.The number of farmers were 42 farmers. In specialization activities, the method to process risk data used are analysis of variance, standard deviation and coefficient of variation. Theresults showed that the source of production risk faced by farmers were weather / climate, pest and disease diseases and seed quality. The expected return value of basil commodityRp.1.801.204 with the risk level of losses was 0.382 or 38%. Strategies that could be done to reduced the risk was the diversification activity with . timing and appropriate commodities of diversification activities, plan intercropping cropping pattern between two combination basil with lettuce were 60% and 40% and basil with gourd were 60% and 40%, risk managementin production through preventive strategies with improvement of physical facilities and mitigation strategies with pest and disease controls encountered.Keywords: basil, variance analysis, standard deviation, coefficient of variation, risk management.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the understanding, interests and perspectives of lecturers, students and education staff on MBKM activities and analyze the impact of MBKM implementation on lecturers, students and staff as a measure of the success of the MBKM program at Djuanda University. The research was conducted on 15 - 20 December in seven (7) undergraduate faculties at the University of Djuanda Bogor. Data collection was carried out using the census method. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of the analysis show that the understanding of lecturers, students and staff related to MBKM activities is quite good. The interest of lecturers, students and staff is also quite good. The perspectives of lecturers, students and students obtained are quite good and the implementation of MBKM has a good impact on the competence of lecturers and students both on hard-skills and soft-skills of students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze marketing channels, marketing channel efficiency values, marketing margins, and market share of salak pondoh sold in traditional markets in Bogor City. Methods of data collection using primary data and secondary data. The sampling technique of farmers was carried out by purposive sampling and snowball sampling of 31 people. The descriptive analysis method for marketing channel analysis and quantitative analysis is to calculate the value of marketing efficiency, marketing margin, and farmer's share. The results showed that one marketing channel for salak pondoh was not efficient because the channel was too long and involved four marketers.
