Abstract

Title (Bahasa Indonesia): Analisis pola musim penangkapan ikan malalugis (Decapterus sp.) di Perairan Sulawesi Utara dan sekitarnya berdasarkan hasil tangkapan yang didaratkan di PPI Tumumpa Information on fishing season is important for fishing operations. This study used primary and secondary data. The former was obtained through interviews with fishing master of purse seiners and participation in fishing operations. The latter was taken from 5 years of catch data (2009 to 2013) available in the Landing Center of Tumumpa. Results showed that scad mackerels can be caught all year surveyed in April, May, June, and July, with the best season in May. Informasi tentang musim penangkapan penting dalam operasi penangkapan ikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan sekunder. Data primer diperoleh dengan teknik wawancara terhadap pengelola kapal pajeko dan mengikuti kegiatan penangkapan ikan di daerah penangkapan, sedangkan pengambilan data sekunder dilakukan di PPI Tumumpa dengan teknik pencatatan data produksi selama periode 5 tahun (2009-2013). Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa ikan malalugis dapat ditangkap sepanjang tahun. Musim penangkapan ikan malalugis terjadi pada bulan April, Mei, Juni, Juli dan musim penangkapan tertinggi terdapat pada bulan Mei.
