PENGEMBANGAN PERANGKAT PENGAJARAN LANGSUNG UNTUK MELATIHKAN KETERAMPILAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH PESERTA DIDIK SMA

Abstract

This study aims to produce a valid, practical, and effective direct instruction package so that it is feasible to be used to train students' problem-solving skills. The research and development design used the ADDIE model and is tested for 31 students of class X MIPA 1 SMAN 5 Banjarmasin. Data were obtained through instrument validation of direct instruction teaching materials, observation of the implementation of direct instruction, and problem-solving tests. Data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of the study showed: 1) direct instruction package included were valid, because the lesson plan, teaching material, student worksheet, and assessment test were in very valid criteria; (2) direct instruction package included practically, because the lesson plan component could be implemented in very good; and (3) direct instruction package included is effective, because N-Gain of problem-solving skills value is 0.82; means an increase in the high criteria. It was concluded direct instruction package developed was feasible to train students’ problem-solving skills.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pengajaran langsung yang valid, praktis, dan efektif sehingga layak untuk melatihkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah peserta didik. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini menggunakan desain model ADDIE dan diujicobakan pada 31 peserta didik kelas X MIPA 1 SMAN 5 Banjarmasin. Pengumpulan data melalui instrumen validasi perangkat pengajaran langsung, pengamatan keterlaksanaan pengajaran langsung, dan tes pemecahan masalah. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) perangkat pengajaran langsung dalam kriteria valid, karena rencana pelaksanaan pelajaran, buku ajar, LKPD, dan tes keterampilan pemecahan masalah dalam kriteria sangat valid, 2) perangkat pengajaran langsung termasuk praktis, karena komponen rencana pelaksanaan pelajaran dapat diimplementasikan dengan sangat baik, dan 3) perangkat pengajaran langsung termasuk efektif, karena nilai n-gain keterampilan pemecahan masalah sebesar 0,82; berarti peningkatannya dalam kriteria tinggi. Diperoleh simpulan bahwa perangkat pengajaran langsung yang dikembangkan termasuk layak untuk melatih keterampilan pemecahan masalah peserta didik.
