Abstract

Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter (PPK) melalui literasi dapat memenuhi salah satu program merdeka belajar yang implementasinya masih dipertanyakan di berbagai sekolah di Indonesia. Pengembangan literasi melalui pendekatan PPK Berbasis Kelas di masa pandemic Covid-19 ini dilakukan melalui pembelajaran daring. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi permasalahan dalam mempraktikkan inovasi pembelajaran dalam Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter (PPK) pada masa pandemi Covid-19 melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan pengembangan perencanaan inovasi pembelajaran melalui gerakan literasi untuk merdeka belajar. Pelaksanaan pendampingan menggunakan metode pelatihan dan pendampingan yang mengacu pada analisis situasi program-program yang telah disepakati bersama. Sasaran pengabdian ini meliputi guru IPA, kepala sekolah dan wakil kepala sekolah SMP Muhammadiyah 02 Kota Batu. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan dokumentasi sedangkan teknik analisis data adalah deskriptif. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatnya wawasan dan kompetensi guru dalam menyusun RPP berbasis PPK melalui gerakan literasi, meningkatnya ketrampilan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran di kelas sesuai Kurikulum 2013 yang menerapkan, serta terlaksananya pembelajaran yang kaya akan literasi yang dapat memenuhi salah satu program merdeka belajar. Menindaklanjuti hasil pengabdian ini maka inovasi pembelajaran dalam Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter harus lebih dioptimalkan melalui kegiatan literasi. Implementation of Strengthening Character Education by Applying Literacy in Learning as an Effort for Learning Innovation in Independent Learning in the Covid-19 Pandemic Strengthening Character Education (PPK) through literacy can fulfill one of the independent learning programs whose implementation is still being questioned in various schools in Indonesia. Literacy development through the Class-Based PPK approach during the Covid-19 pandemic was carried out through online learning. This activity aims to solve problems in practicing learning innovations in Strengthening Character Education (PPK) during the Covid-19 pandemic through training and assistance in developing learning innovation planning through the literacy movement for independent learning. The implementation of mentoring uses training and mentoring methods that refer to the situation analysis of programs that have been mutually agreed upon. This service targets include natural science teachers, school principals, and deputy principals of Muhammadiyah 02 Kota Batu junior high school. The data collection technique was observation and documentation, while the data analysis technique was descriptive. The conclusion of this service activity is to increase the insight and competence of teachers in preparing PPK-based learning practice plans through the literacy movement. Improve teacher skills in carrying out classroom learning according to the 2013 curriculum. The implementation of literacy-rich learning can fulfill one of the independent learning programs. Following up on the results of this service, learning innovations in Strengthening Character Education must be optimized through literacy activities
