PENGEMBANGAN RUBRIK PENILAIAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS

Abstract

The aims of this developmental research are 1) to create an assessment rubric of Science Process Skill 2) reveal the expediency and benefit of assessment rubric, which is developed as an assessment source. Development method consists of five steps: requirement analysis, development of beginning product, expert’s validation, product test, and final product. Research’s population was 25 students of second grade 4 in SMPN 1 Bandar Lampung. The result of reliable test showed that the product is proper to be used with the reliable coefficient 0.802. The test of product showed that product is useful, practical, and attractive. The measurement result of science process skill using an assessment rubric showed that students have good science process skill with percentage 56 %. 20 % of the students have very good category of science process skill, and 24 % of the students have enough category.Tujuan penelitian pengembangan ini adalah: (1) membuat rubrik penilaian keterampilan proses sains dan (2) mengungkapkan kelayakan dan kemanfaatan rubrik penilaian yang dikembangkan sebagai suatu sumber penilaian. Metode pengembangan meliputi lima tahapan pengembangan, yaitu; analisis kebutuhan, pengembangan produk awal, validasi ahli, uji coba produk, dan produk akhir. Populasi penelitian merupakan siswa kelas VIII 4 di SMPN 1 Bandar Lampung yang berjumlah 25 siswa. Hasil uji reliabilitas menunjukkan produk layak digunakan dengan nilai koefisien reliabilitas sebesar 0,802. Hasil uji coba produk menunjukkan bahwa produk sangat bermanfaat, mudah digunakan dan menarik. Hasil pengukuran keterampilan proses sains dengan menggunakan rubrik penilaian menunjukkan keterampilan proses sains siswa yang baik dengan persentase 56.00% siswa mencapai kategori keterampilan proses sains sangat baik, 20.00% siswa berkategori baik, dan 24.00% siswa dengan kategori cukup.Kata kunci: keterampilan proses sains, pengembangan, rubrik penilaian
