Before using a drug, one of the things that determines whether the drug is still suitable for use is the Expired Date (ED). ED is the time limit for the use of drugs after they are produced by the factory, before the packaging is opened. In practice, it is not uncommon for misunderstandings to occur regarding the expiration date of the drug after the packaging is opened. Beyond Use Date is the time limit for using the drug to be formulated or prepared or after the primary packaging is opened or damaged. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of providing drug information through leaflets on the level of public knowledge regarding beyond use date. This study was designed with an experimental design by giving pre and post questionnaires giving drug information with leaflets to ISMAKES students in Mataram City who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria which were analyzed using the Paired Samples t-test method. Based on the results of the research on 35 respondents, it was found that the level of knowledge at the pretest was good at 51.43%, sufficient was 45,715 and less was 2.86%, while at the time of post giving information there was an increase in the level of knowledge of respondents, namely good at 82.86%, sufficient at 17.14% and less than 0%. The results of the analysis using the paired samples T-Test show the sig value. 0.000 which means that there is an influence on the provision of drug information services about BUD on the level of knowledge of respondents. Keywords : Knowledge Level; Beyond Use Date; Medicine
